For over a year I have been trying to light and power my enterprise D. I’m re lighting the Eaglemoss Enterprise and the whole experience has given me an ulcer and frustrates me to the point where I was thinking about throwing the whole thing out.. I really could’ve used this a year ago but I’m very happy. This came to my attention now.. thank you
Great video John, and thanks for the shout out. Andy has created a fantastic system with The Inner Light, I'll be installing it in a couple of commissions but I get the feeling a lot more will want to include it when they see how good the LCARS functionality is! Looking forward to seeing your upcoming D redux, have fun 😎
This is so useful. Thank you so much. I still have to start my janky Eaglemoss/Fanhome Enterprise with. Actually, my Inner Light module is the stuff that I'm most looking forward to do on this model 😄 But one question: As every light is in series, how to you "place" or wire a strobe near 10 forward and then something like a warp nacelle LED in the main hull? These are quite a bit apart. I still do not know where to locate what and how. There is nothing parallel, right? Haha, should have watched the entire video before enthusiastically commenting 😄
Thank you :) So like my Enterprise D if you look carefully. They are assigned. Example: You have 100 LEDs and LEDs 1,2,3... are at the beginning near the warp section and LEDs ...98,99, 100 are ending around the saucer section. Let's say you have 4 strobe LEDS that need to be in different places. So you make a Strobe Group and assign the LEDs where they might be placed in the model for example LED 4 & 12 will be near the warp drive and LED 70 & 91 are in the saucer section. Hope this helps
Thank you for your videos! I’m following them as I started recently my 1:1400 model. Keep uploading vids!! (if family allows 😅) I was also recommended by MPM the Inner Lights product, and I’m waiting them to arrive!! Thank you for reviewing them before they arrived 👏🏻👏🏻 May I contact you regarding some doubts of the process? Thanks for your time!

I can't wait to see this build. I loved the first one so much. The colors were perfect to my eye. Congratulations on the new family and the move.
Thanks so much John :) This time I will complete the D...Especially now I've had the vasectomy since the last baby :D
@@CaptainsDrydock lol! Cheers!

@@CaptainsDrydock this really help! thanks again for the clarification!
Thank you for this.
I was hoping if you could list what LEDs you bought to light up your Enterprise D ?
Thank you :)
A mix of 60-144 RGBW 5v strips with some single 10x3 mini board Pixie LEDs
7:21: Hey nothing wrong with the Walkman. I used one while travelling all through Vietnam back in the 90s. Those headphones were comfy.
So wish I kept mine.... Now they're retro and cost soooo much. Give things time, they all turn cool again :D
I wish I had seen this before I got my current one past the point of no return... would have saved so much headache.

I personally like 2:35 🤣
strewth - at 6:51 - holding the soldering iron like that must hurt a little
More so when I was holding it in my mouth as I was holding the wires together :D
