- I am reaching 500 platinum trophies and I think I might end up with that many platinums by the end of 2023. In this video I give you an update of all the platinum trophies I earned over the last 6 months. My platinum collection has really changed over the last 6 months and I hope you enjoy the breakdown.

One thing I found helped with the Team Sonic Racing that made it more bareable for singleplayer is if you have enough of a lead just keep giving any item you get to teammates, the AI will get a good item and it builds meter slightly. Keep doing this and it makes it a lot easier!
That is a good tip. I also realised towards the end, you should play as the slowest class so your teammates are driving faster cars which helps them place higher
Awesome update video, loved this! Congrats on all those hard trophies. My most recent plat is COD WW2 which I’m very pleased to get and was a very rewarding challenge, plus it’s one of my favourite CODs.

Cheers, I don’t own the DLC but I’ve also heard it’s hard (and has loads of ultra rares!) the base game zombies “hidden” boss is really intricate and my successful run took about 2 hours! You should definitely go it for though I think you will love it but I’d seriously recommend getting a dedicated team of players with mics to do the zombies

I'm at 93 plats now. Recently finished Spiderman Remastered and Legend of Dragoon. Currently working on Shin Megami Tensei 3 Nocturne, and just started up Shadow of the Colossus earlier today. I also have a few games to go back and clean up like Horizon Call of the Mountain, Red Dead 2 and Persona 4 Arena games, but saving Divinity Original Sin 2 for the big platinum 100 😊

Congrats on nearing the 500 platinum mark! I just got my 100th platinum on Monday(GTA:Vice City). That “Take the Cannoli” trophy was the grindiest trophy of Vice City’s list. GTA: San Andreas’ platinum is my next target!

Just got the plat for Resi 4, did it the hard way by playing on Professional and slogging through it to get a weapon neede for a trophy, only for the weapon to become available via the much easier mercenaries mode, literally a day later :P

The last 6 months I’ve been working on the Red Dead Redemption 2 platinum. The trophy list is extremely difficult and is taking a lot longer than I thought. Still, because of how beautiful the game is, I don’t mind spending this much time on it. Currently going for all the 70 gold medals. Then completing the 100% for the plat. 👏🏼

I looked at you're trophy list on PSN profiles. Where are all the trophies worth getting. Like the Arkham series or Dark Souls or Nioh. Trophies that people will see and think, wow this guy is a good gamer.

Recently went on a plat binge and got about 30 plats in 30 days(some grubby 2 hour games, some interesting games like edna and harvey and artful escape, and a few hidden gems like shing and river city girls) just to clear out some games clogging up my harddrive. Im now taking a break from quick plats to do the megaman battle network legacy collection vol1 because i was literally obsessed with the series during my teenage years. I aim to have vol1 be plat 850 and vol2 be 900.

Chivalry 2, I feel the pain on that one. Those 25 map wins on different maps are brutal. I am trying Aliens fire team now because I just finished it on extreme. I have done the first two missions on Insane but it seems impossible with randoms.
Yeah all the maps was long but I did love the game so didn’t mind.
Yeah alien on insane with randoms sounds impossible. Some of the levels are doable but 3-3, 4-2, 1-3 & 2-3 will be so god dam hard

Ghostrunner DLC is pretty fun. Character you get basically has a gun. There’s a trophy for completing the first mission without dying, I nearly broke a controller on that one.

I'm not really a huge trophy hunter I lack the skills and patience I have like 27 platinums LOL. But congrats on the 500 platinums amazing achievement. 2 questions what was your most challenging platinum ever to get? and what was the most time consuming?
fair play man, most challenging platinum trophy was marvel vs capcom and most time consuming is probably going to be skyrim but right now probably ghost of tsushima, with all the DLC it took about 160 hours haha

In the last 3 month I completed 100%:
Donut County, Feeding Frenzy, F1 22 & Wreckfest.
I ended March with 191 out of 195 achievements. (97,9% completion)
Been playing The Walking Dead: Season One to start the full series of 5 games.
I have 110 rn, I'm working between gta v and super meat boy. I feel your struggle with fighting games, I'm almost done with Injustice 2 and have most of Injustice 1s trophies but it's not easy at all

Loved this video. A really good variety of games for you over the past 6 months with many impressive platinums. Do you have any plans for what game will be the big 500 when it eventually comes?
You were asking about shorter games. I have done some very enjoyable plats this year all around the 25 hr mark. I would recommend Death’s Door, A Plague Tale Requiem, The Callisto Protocol and The Ascent. Callisto might be a pain for you if you want the 100% as they have added loads of DLC’s which just involve additional play throughs on different modes.
I’m currently playing the horror game Madison. Got the hard mode and speed run trophies out of the way today but need to do one more play through taking 40 photos or less.
I agree with you about God Of War Ragnarok. I loved the game but the RPG element didn’t really add much. Seemed unnecessary. Also done Gotham Knights last month - it was a passable game but just nowhere near as good or fun as the Batman Arkham games. The combat was a lot weaker and rather monotonous.
Already looking forward to the next video.

My last plat was Spongebob Squarepants: The Cosmic Shake. It’s a light, fun platformer if you like Battle for Bikini Bottom. It has just the right amount of collectibles, too. I plan on getting the plats for the Dead Space and RE4 Remakes next.
If you want something short and sweet, try Save Room. It’s a puzzle game modelled after the attache case organization in RE4.
Just smashing through Spongebob now for my 82nd platinum. Love those fun but easy plats compared to Lego Star Wars the Skywalker Saga which tool 92 hours.

@@PlatinumBro Depends on how many of the puzzles you want to try solving by yourself. It can be done in about an hour tops with a guide.

Short plat suggestion: Foreclosed. It's a nice and tight experience 2-5hrs. Definitely doable in a day or even a single one shot stream. No trophy will make you sweat. A repeat playthrough if anything for the collectibles. chapter select for collectibles won't work.

Arcadegedon was just so painful. From glitched launch trophies to absolutely dead online. I think I hit like around 50% and just tapped out as I just realized this was a half assed game they would drop

How did you do the multiplayer mode for Arcadegedon?
I tried the game briefly and quite liked it. Then I got to a mission where I had to play PvP. Queued 30 minutes and couldn't get a match. So I quit.
You play multiplayer games with one other person. So if you can convince someone to boost with you you can do all the multiplayer trophies in about 20 mins

I'm sure you know already but in skyrim one of the trophies for the civil War questline will become unobtainable if you complete the main quest
You can do it a certain way where it still can be unlocked apparently and o hope so hahaha if not I’ll have to do a cheeky new play through to finish that story line
Geez, 6 months certainly is a long time.
At least as far as the trophy hunting hobby goes, felt like so much happened these last handful of months. Most of the garbage plats fiasco occurred in that time for example. Not to mention all the trophy-based channels that seemingly died as well. Recently found out both Iliya Kunin and ThePlatinumTrophy retired, among many others who slowed down activity or quit entirely.
Oh well, it'll be like that I guess. All I can do is just continue doing what I've pretty much always been doing for this past decade plus. Though I think I'll be slowing down a bit myself since I've essentially cleared every goal or benchmark I wanted to reach with my profile. I'll still be trucking on as usual, just not quite as dedicated or obsessive over stats. Heck, I'm considering getting a game soon that has delisted DLC trophies.

I have 20 and there’s a few I don’t count like the autopopped ones and Jak 2 and 3 and other ones that have over 90% earned rate 😂 now I go for tougher ones because I have to counteract the easy ones just finished Tony hawk pro skater in 2 weeks which I’m proud of

I recently watched a video about the desasterous launch of Battlefield 2042 and I can’t imagine supporting EA financially after this. But hey, enjoy it. They must have patched it playable. The missing leaderboard is a joke, tbh. I started a lot of games in the last few weeks. One of it was Ghostrunner. At first, I was shit. And a few hours later I was still shit. If I get the Platinum, this will be a great success. The music is fantastic and when I was in flow, the game was fun. Hard because of my shitty reflexes, but fun. I am working on the Platinum for God of War Ragnarök. I finally found my motivation. After the story I was burnt out, but now found back into the game. I agree with you: Kratos doesn’t feel op at all (especially with my skill). But with a good build it becomes more manageable. I am enjoying the game quite a bit. But there is so much to do. :( Fun videos like this, make it a little bit more fun.

I had a bug with trophies with lego star wars the skywalker saga with the porg mission. I collected them all, however, it was saying 9/10 collected. As i had already collected all 10 the last one didn't respawn and i had to beat the game all over again just for one trophy cause it was tired to the "all side quests" achievement

Also you showed the bloodborne plat while talking about hard ones, which i find curious because i think soulsborne plats are super easy compared to other games🤔 Sure the base game can be quite challenging but the individual trophies are mostly a cake walk.
Some hard trophies for example are dmc5 and re2 remake, even tho those games are pretty easy when played on normal
One more comment, if "if you've only played MK or Tekken this is still gonna be hard"
Tekken is actually considered one of the hardest fighting games to get good at (the plat is free tho) and to compare how hard fighting games actually are, that mvci plat is insanity if you don't have experience but actually getting good at the game is probably around 12x harder, which is a shame coz it makes it very hard to get into them.
And after that you'd probably think, why just not make them easier?
Well the problem with that is that YOU CAN'T OTHERWISE IT'S NOT A GOOD FIGHTING GAME ANYMORE!
It really is a unsolvable problem.

yeah bloodborne isn't the hardest but still a soulsborne so i would still consider it a hard game for the average gamer :P
Highlights for me from September 2022 are:
9/21/22 Mass Effect Trilogy - This wasn't a Plat run, but I finally beat all 3 games on Insanity which was an "insane" challenge.
9/29/22 Yakuza: Like A Dragon - Had an amazing story and fun combat. Taking on the True Final Millennium Tower was hard.
10/5/22 Alfred Hitchcock: Vertigo - I am a huge fan of the movie and this game has elements of the original movie, but with different twist and turns.
10/24/22 Temtem - I grew up on Pokemon and this was a fun, more challenging and grindy monster-catching game. Plus, it is an Ultra Rare Plat at 2.86% achievers.
11/10/22 Gotham Knights - I enjoyed the different play styles of Nightwing, Batgirl, Red Hood, and Robin, but the story disappointed me.
11/29/22 What Remains of Edith Finch - Story was really great, but gloomy.
12/30/22 The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (PS5) - One of my favorite games ever so I had a blast replaying the story and earning the Plat again.
1/8/23 Persona 5 Royal (PS5) - I love everything about this game; the characters, story, and the music so I really enjoyed replaying the game.
1/23/23 Beyond: Two Souls - I started this back in 2016 before I became addicted to trophy hunting. Story is interesting, but getting all endings can be tedious at times.
1/29/23 Marvel's Midnight Suns - This game surprised me in every way possible. I enjoyed the story, the card combat, voice acting. It is a great game that I can't recommend enough.
2/26/23 Hogwarts Legacy - I fell in love with the Harry Potter universe at the age of 9 and it has stuck with me for my entire life. This game felt like a dream at most times. Finding all the collectables was my least favorite part of the game.
3/17/23 428: Shibuya Scramble - This game is a Visual Novel with FMV elements. You have to manipulate the timeline through several hours while uncovering many mysteries. The game can be completed in about 30 hours with a decent guide.
3/25/23 Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection - I did auto pop some trophies specifically on A Thief's End because I was not in the mood to find all the collectables again. I no longer had my save for Lost Legacy though so I had to earn all those trophies again. It is a shame that the game couldn't have kept the two Plats that the two games originally had.
4/5/23 Agatha Christie: Hercule Poirot - The First Cases - I am a huge fan of murder mysteries and really enjoyed this game.
4/14/23 Murderous Muses - This is a murder mystery FMV game from D'Avekki Studios (i have played a lot of their games). Once you know the gameplay loop of the game you can earn the Plat in about 6-7 hours probably. Also I am currently the 4th first Platinum trophy achiever for this game on PSNProfiles.
Overall, I had a blast with these games. You had an amazing run as well, @PlatinumBro! My current goal is to reach 300 Platinum trophies by the end of 2023 (currently at 276 Plats!) Happy hunting!!!

Aha yeah the money spent must be a lot. I'm picking up a third (!) ps5 next month, and am starting a fresh account where I shall only be going for platinums. I just can't bring myself to go back to unfinished ps4 games that don't have an above-30fps mode sadly :( Again, as usual, that probably comes from playing primarily at 1440p240fps usually, or 4k120, but it's still a real deal breaker for me these days
I remember trying to go for Arcadegeddon when it first came on psplus but the figurine trophy was glitched. (Btw boss runs are a lot quicker when you play solo because of the multiplayer).
Also I didn’t have anyone to help me do the trophies where u had to kill x amount of enemies in x amount of time with an ability.
did you manage the skill kill based trophies solo? jesus we had a full team for the boosting and it was still really hard!
