Listen… I’m now using minoxidil for my edges and it works🙏🏽 I’m trying wigs and taking care of my hair underneath. My scalp needs a break from the braids chile🫤
I am going through the same thing. I work as an engineer, so I need to use protective styles. The ones I do the most are flat twists. I install them every Saturday after washing my hair. And since I’ve gotten better at it, and they are coming out flatter, I’ve noticed that my edges are a bit thin… I can’t stop wearing protective styles due to safety at work. So I’ve decided to start wearing clip ins and leaving the affected areas as leave out. I believe is I leave them alone, no tension and a lot os moisture, should sort it out
I remember when that happened to me when I got senegalese twists back in the summer of 2012 before I started my high school freshman year.😔 I couldn't wear wigs at the time (courtesy of my mother) and had to take my high school badge photo with a headband (which one of my friends to me to wear until my edges grew back). It was crazy.😩 And I guess also that I am personally used to covering my head since observing 1 Corinthians 11.😙
I used to get steroid shots(in the face) when I would get a zit "underground." It goes away INSTANTLY. Has to be done by a Dermatologist but it's so worth it.

I feel you. The week break + jumbo twists & oil really helped thicken mine
What form of minoxidil are you using? Where did you get?
I used the liquid form a long tome ago, I bought it online
Is that like Rogaine?

Yes! Low tension + moisture will help
Be careful with clip ins, that’s how I thinned out my ends
@@Natyourpl8 yeah. I think the key word here is balance
