Battle jets and helicopters would fly above the parade and the artillery would shoot some rounds while the american hymne is played this is how it should be. Just watch wehrmacht or nva parade videos and you know what i mean haha

However, if we sharpened our marching skills more like the Marine Corps does, or a Texas A&M marching band, but for every branch of service, we can create the same affect on the marching field. Americans are to lazy and too laid back to push our military to do something like this. We start screaming who's going to pay for this or that. We'd rather put money into other things like Billion dollars on the latest fighter aircraft or ship or sub etc. Americans are simply not interested in having a full up Military Parade with all the bells and whistles included. Sadly I don't think it will ever happen unless we get someone in Office who is well respected by the people, and his top Military Generals, to restructure how we demonstrate our show of force. My idea would also get some backlash from Americans and that is, I would have mandatory military for everyone graduating from high school aka conscripts. I would say 2 yrs in the reserves with options to go full time active duty or college. I would have those forces in marching uniforms and have them do the Parades along with some of our active duty personnel. The main job of these conscripts would be for Parade duties, so their main job would be to perfect marching in formation alignments. They can also balance manpower issues with our active duty forces as well. We have the money for all this but no one wants to pay for it.
