the new parade style is definitely better than before. steady walk, dignified uniform. music is always good. the old parade didn't look strong, it just looked painful. doing it at night also has a solemn effect-and it's also good for soldiers fatigue in the heat. so, yes, north korea is getting better.

Sadly no matter how a Nations army looks, if they are not experienced, battle-hardened and placed into a combat/life threatening situations they will still be out-played in many aspects. Especially by nations who have ran drills, tactics, and weaponry against an opponent for years in a real war.

Yeah, but even before the parade, the air show was awesome plus you've GOT to see the rifle squad throw rifles through the air with fully exposed bayonets and catching them with full smiles on their faces like they were just sticks.
The only part of the whole thing I skipped was the 20 minutes or so of generals riding around in jeeps yelling at everyone to get ready.
I've never seen nothing quite like that, I enjoyed the parade, thank you ..
