Hi Dan, your videos are wonderful, I have just bought a second hand quite old electric wheel but it has no bats, can you suggest where or what I could get them made from? You are a real artist, thanks for taking the time to do all these videos. Ray in Belfast
I really enjoy your videos, Dan! I really wish I could get into pottery, I may take some kind of class, If I could. Have you considered doing more glazing before/after videos, or would you be giving away too many trade secrets? XD
I like everything about this except the drain hole in the middle! I don't want the drainage all over the sink top! Yuck! May I suggest a swirl pressed into the soap dish instead? It would elevate the soap enough to keep it out of the water... What do you think?
Dan, I really love your work. Watching you throw has helped me so much. Your hand positions are just a bit different than what are taught here in the States. But they really work for me. Thanks again for sharing your skill.
Yes, I like it. Thanks. Love functional pottery !
Very nice! I'm enjoying the simplicity. Thank you
Pottery is so creative!

That is my next prototype.
Wait and see, Dan.

+Florence Wiley or you could simply add a bottom to it so it drains and you can pour it out whenever you want. But I do agree with you
I was wondering what kind of batts you are throwing on? They look like they are metal.
You should try to throw a clay pot with your feet, maybe sitting on a high stool above the wheel. That would make for a funny video lol
What do you use as a trimming tool?
If you don't poke a hole and fill it with fat and a wick its an oillamp like it was used 1000 years ago.
