      I am SO F-ING SORRY for missing your post initially. I finally have the time to support RUclips like I should. Yeah - the way to have a SCREAMING GNS3 system or EVE-NG is to run that software on native Ubuntu. In fact - there is a bare metal EVE-NG I believe. That is the way to go. Skip the OS always if you can!

    This is a breach of monopoly legislation and cartel in the UK and Europe.
    Europe will require in the future any hardware sold to be independent of any operating system. To be clear all hardware will only be legally operational in Europe if its capabable without modification to run five or more independent operating systems and software.
    The maximum of 39 % of sales in retail can be attributed to any one operating system or closed source eco system.
    The UK has claimed that due to the cyber war in the Euro area it needs to be in the national security interests to discontinue the use of windows 11 or other similar system on all hardware due to data protection and security legislation. The UK has learned from the Ukrainian war that it must build up defensive capability in a unstable worldwide environment.
    The UK claims over 300 alternative operating system which negates relience on operating system and harware which is control of third party states,criminal organisations, non friendly powers,or terrorist organisations.
    The chineese consider a windows eco system to be a national security threat and will be moving to linux by 2026. All hardware built in china will likely be not be compatable with windows after this date.
    Across Europe windows 11 is the death nail for windows as a company.

    does anyone know if you would still need to use Rufus to put Linux on a flash drive with this method?

    • @AnthonySequeira15626
      @AnthonySequeira15626  2 года назад

      No - no Rufus required. The Microsoft Installation Media Creator does all the prep work required on the USB thumb drive to make sure it will boot just fine. Remember, you need to make sure your computer is configured to boot to the USB stick, however. You can have Windows help with this too, of course. You choose the Startup Options feature in the Recovery area in settings.

    • @AnthonySequeira15626
      @AnthonySequeira15626  2 года назад

      It should draw VERY LITTLE resources. Of course, you could accidentally cause performance issues for your machine (of course!). For example, if you had the Linux system run some very intense process. But for basic familiarity, learning, and even basic services, the seamless Linux copies we can now easily install are very compelling!
