Oz, not “0-Z. The tuners name is Ken Osborne that made the flash program. I have a 13 5.0 with an Oz tune. Honestly I don’t think they changed too many parameters. Shift points, throttle response, top speed… That’s all I feel. I don’t feel a actual power gain from it. But I’ll find out this summer when I take it to an actual Dyno Tuner where I will run the Oz tune and compare to an actual Tuning rather than a mail order tune.
I’d disagree. I noticed power gains. Stock my truck wouldn’t hang with my buddies lbz duramax with some bolt ons and a tune. Then i got it tuned and I actually beat him a few times. OZ has dyno sheets on their site to prove the hp gains
@@KeatenPatterson When they open up the parameters for higher RPMs there’s more horsepower at the top end. They’re not changing air fuel ratio or the timing. Do you want real horsepower increase from tune? Go to a tuner. Ours just opens up the parameters I’ll keep in the same engine tuning to keep it a safe tune. I know this because I’ve done the experiments between mail order tuning and actual Dyno Tuner. If you don’t believe me take your vehicle to a reputable Tuner and ask them. There’s still more power in that truck.
@@kylarshay1267 SPT, bully dog, HP tuners all come with a pre-tune already installed. Thanks man for the video. I've been wanting to hear more about it and how it feels. I have the smame setup just crew cab. I have the 4k limiter and speed limiter. I have a carven R series muffler and sounds sick! Just wanna hear her scream a little more lol
I’m wanting to beef up my HP some on my 2012 F-150 5.0 All I have done is CAI and muffler delete with 5” tips . Would a programmer and Tune increase it any ? I am running 35s on 22s , that alone feels like it slowed my truck down . It does have a leveling kit .
Yes it would. OZ Tuning is discontinuing tunes for the 11-14 F-150’s on the first of January. If you are going to tune it do it right now. If you already have the tune before then they will still support you after January first

I love the 6 speed, i know the 10 speeds are faster but ive driven one and its weird how its just constantly shifting. You really would have to drive both to compare. If i was building a automatic race truck I’d go 10 speed but my 6 speed is perfect for how i use it!
i know i’m really late and don’t even know if you’ll reply but can you possibly send me the link for the tuner bc the one in the description doesn’t work
Stock was 5500, now its 6500. In manual mode or Park/ Neutral it hits rev limiter at 7000. I can tell its peak power is at 6500 so no point in going all the way to 7 though.
4k limiter is that it will only let u rev to 4k in park or neutral if u don't get it tuned out, and speed limiter is so it won't let u go faster then 150km

Definitely not. I wouldn’t trust anyone but OZ to tune my truck and I’d say 75% of other tuned 5.0 owners would say the same

Oz Tuning doesn’t tune the 11-14 f-150’s anymore sadly
Once your acl gets heeled you gotta make some range boyz vids
We don’t use that one anymore, all the videos will be on this channel
I was wondering who had that truck in rapids, should tune a diesel though. It’s way more satisfying
I don’t need a diesel honestly. Puts a smile on my face when i beat diesels in N/A 5.0 with a intake and a tune haha
