I purchased a VAD307 thanks to you. I've been search though for a good guide on recommended distances and placements and recommended tom/crash heights etc. Any good guide online you know about? Do you set your drums by what you feel comfortable or you follow specific guidelines? One suggestion though, the sun can make the plastic of your crashes brittle and crack. That happened to a previous set I had.
Awesome! Set up for me is just what’s comfortable - kit preference is definitely different for everyone!
This was great! I got quite intrigued how you have all the mics connected and then the EAD10. Are you using both to record?
My biggest question lol I’m interested in purchasing the EAD10 but I’d like to hear a cover with just the EAD10 to know if that’s the route I’d like to take. Seems like the other mics are being used for the mix though.
@@DrummerBoiTroy I make my drum covers with the EAD10 only. Check my channel, hope it helps.
How do you map your hi hats with ggd? I'm still struggling to get it right for almost 2 months now lol

How does someone get into session drumming? I really want to turn my love for music and drums into a career in session work
Personally, I just put out there that I was available to track drums for people’s music until I started getting work - posting on social media was definitely the catalyst that gave/gives me that opportunity!
@LindseyRayeWard Very cool! The only social media I have is TikTok. I've been off all other social media platforms for almost four years now. I guess I can post more original videos and covers and put in the captions of videos that I'm interested in working with other musicians and other artists looking for drummers for tracking.
