Most pioneer women had to give birth on their own on the Praries. A doctor was a day or more away by buggy. A lot women died in child birth. Other women would birth like it was part of their job that day and would then get up and prepare a meal for her husband and kids. It was expected out of them.
I pushed for around an hour with zero results. My body started pushing for me and he was out in two or three minutes. This reflex is so cool and natural!
They made me push for 4 hours!!! I was soooo exhausted, my blood pressure was through the roof, and I almost fainted many times. I kept saying I don't feel like I need to push yet! I don't feel my body trying to push yet! And they kept making me!!! This was with my first and I had no idea what to expect. Then they decided I wasn't progressing so needed an emergency c-section and literally right after they prepped me and were just about to wheel me to surgery my body started wanting to push and I could feel it!!! And I was screaming and crying by this time... please let me push again!! I can do it this time!!! They kept telling me to stop and knocked me out and I woke up in the recovery room. They had to pull my baby back out of the birth canal bc by the time they cut me my body was trying to eject the baby! My pelvis never did spread until that moment so there was no way for me to push the baby out until then! If they had waited my health and the baby's wouldn't have been jeopardized in the first place and wouldn't have needed to have an emergency c-section! And then I wouldn't have had to have 2 more after! So I never got to experience giving birth naturally bc of modern doctors acting as if they know better than my own body did. Just bc I was fully dilated and effaced didn't mean it was time for me to push!!! There was no reason other than the doctor's convenience that I had to start pushing until my body started to tell me to.
@@NotWokebutAwake.happened to me as well!! I got in the OR room, the nurse took a look in there and baby’s head was out and Surgeon said no we need to do the csection and he had to push him back to be able to take him out. 1 yr postpartum and i hated the experience! My first baby too!
@@jewelslaggy304 I felt like a failure for so long. I had a birth plan of no drugs all natural but in the hospital! I was young but I was 18! And my husband and I took classes and everything! My parents helped me a lot bc my dad was in there with my mom when she delivered 4 naturally! So I was so secure in myself! Until being induced! That is unnatural! And it forces labor. It was about 8 hrs and I still wasn't having reg contrations or dilating. So they broke my water! And for some reason all the pitocin hit me at once and i went into full force labor straight in my back!!! They wouldn't let me get up or move bc my BP shot up, and bc I was stressing the baby was stressing. So they made me have an epidural. Blah blah blah 22 hrs later after pushing without needing to for 4 hrs and being faint they take me to OR same as you. My epidural had worn off and I was needing to push so bad and they noticed I was crowing also, so I felt them cut me open and pull the baby out with no meds bc they couldn't give me anything else until cord was cut. As soon as cord was cut they knocked me out! I have no memory of seeing my baby until 3 days later I was kept so high on meds. My father told me I almost died and had to have 2 blood transfusions!!! I wanted to try again to have a Vback but my wonderful doctor after wouldn't risk it. He said they messed me up. And I could get pregnant and carry the baby fine but he was seriously concerned about delivery for both baby and I. So he delivered my next 2 by. Cesarean. He was wonderful.

The birth of our first child! But I just got to be there when my first grandbaby was born. And my daughter did amazing and it was great for her! I was so proud. AM so proud! Hehd
After my grandma told me how she refused to push for my dad and he went ahead and birthed himself, I believed it 😂. She said "nuh uh" and my daddy came out cooing at the nurses
I think you were trying to make light and not be disrespectful, but hope you are aware... Some people say that in a mean spirited and diragatory manner. Just FYI ... The baby here isn't "falling". It's getting ejected.
This is crazy and awesome! Same exact thing happened with my youngest daughter! Was going across a 3.5 mile bridge and my wife said the baby was coming now and I called 911 to get an ambulance to meet us! Well long story short I had to pull over and barely got around in time to the passenger seat to take her pants off and catch our daughter and she came flopping out just like this! She wasn’t crying for almost a min and I had to flip her over and pat her back and she finally started to cry! It was the craziest and happiest moment of my life! We then had to sit there for the longest 10 minutes of our lives until the ambulance got there. I suffer from severe anxiety and remained calm the whole time until they both got into the ambulance then I blacked out and fell over. Luckily the fire rescue guys were right next to me and caught me before hitting the ground. They then gave me oxygen and sat there for a good 15-20 mins until my panic attack was over. Still one of the craziest days of my life!
That is an awesome story! I felt like I was there on the outside looking in. I felt a happy kind of anxiety just reading about it. Great job handling the whole situation!
I gave birth to my daughter in my home. It's a real reflex. I remember my midwife saying, "you're going to push, without trying. Your body WILL push the baby out." So for curiosity sake, when a contraction happened, I didn't push. And WHOOP I felt my daughter slide all the way down and begin crowning. And after I pushed her head out, the rest just HAPPENED. I remember thinking to myself I'M NOT DOING THIS I'M NOT DOING THIS. My female instincts kicked into overdrive and the mama bear was birthing. It was honestly an amazing experience.
My younger sister who is much stronger person then me had a baby. She told me right after she gave birth don’t have baby. She said she doesn’t remember saying that.
Doctors are in so much of a hurry. I had that reflex feeling with my first, hand I felt very little discomfort. The second one not so much. A different dr and his ways was more difficult.
I had a first birth in Germany Suhl ( very good hospital it was in summer 2015) hospital with baby's fetal ejection reflex on left side in bed, after water immersion.
Glad to know this! I planned on a natural unmedicated birth, I was at a birthing center but after 25+ hours of intense labor and back labor and only making it to 3cm, my midwife’s said it’d be best to go to the hospital. So I got the epidural and pushed on my back because I was completely numb, total opposite of what I wanted but with next baby I want to attempt natural again!
I was told in the hospital to not push. I wasn’t pushing. My body was literally pushing my son out on its own and they told me not to like I could control it. Horrible birthing experience there especially for a first time mom like myself. It wasn’t like that when any of us were born there and it seems like I’m the only one brave enough to speak on it.
I love how "daddy" was the perfect receiver. He helped birth his child, and THAT to me is something beyond special. Something millions of women have never experienced. I wish I would've left the medical "extras" out of my past births. Someone on standby would've been good enough .
@@jaysax7381 I mean the experience and the bond that's involved. Yes, a healthy baby is a wonderful gift. The continued bond on the parents being there for one another is important. There's a lot of depression that sometimes sets in after having a baby. That parental bond is VERY important. That's what I meant by my comment. MY own opinion.

I've known too many babies born dead and women who bled profusely to say this. My births were easy and I still almost lost a baby due to meconium aspiration and a double cord wrap. Come on now. Let's be real. Childbirth is one of the most dangerous things a person could do in their life, unassisted childbirth without prenatal care has a high mortality rate across the board.

@@msdarby515 A friend of mine had an “explosive birth” with her second baby. She said the baby just flew out tethered by the umbilical cord. She was planning a home birth which was fortunate under the circumstances. My sister’s friend had her second baby in the elevator of the hospital. One of the nurses comforted her saying “Don’t worry, honey. One lady gave birth on the front lawn.” My sister’s friend wailed “I know! That was me!” ❤️😂😆🤣❤️
@@msdarby515nope, it doesn't, it happens to fit first time mothers too. Sadly most women drive everywhere and have so much less internal muscles than they did decades ago. Of course 1st child is the hardest because it's yr 1st and you don't knkw what ur doing bit even with the first child. Yr body produces hormones so ur bones and ligaments soften so it's easier for them to move. If I could give every pregnant women 1 peice of advice, if yr able to swim, go 3 times a week and swim as hard and as fast as you can for as long as you can. The muscles you will build in those ..however many months you get to do it for....let's say 6 months will make ur child birth so much easier. I wish I could be a pregnancy coach, I really do.
@@msdarby515 Not me. It happened to me with my first baby. I started having contractions and called my husband. I had our baby less than three minutes later in the bathroom by myself.
One of my sons had a precipitous birth. He was pushing himself out, and the nurse held him back for at least ten minutes until the doctor arrived. This caused my baby to nearly die. When he took his first breath, both his lungs burst. He also got Group B Strep septicemia, which was in all his systems except his nervous system. Luckily, he had a miraculous recovery on his third day of life and was able to be taken off the respirator. He's 28 years old now - tall and strong, happily married and healthy. I still call him my miracle boy.

I swear I will forever cry when I see a woman give birth and hold her baby for the first time. The biggest emotional rush of my life when I heard my daughter cry for the first time then placed on my chest. I sobbed the happiest tears ever. I’ll never forget that feeling. When I see another woman experiencing it I cannot not cry 🥲 A sweet beautiful miracle. God bless all the mother’s and children ❤

I couldn’t stop my body from pushing my baby out when they were born. I started feeling the urge to push and I told my mom and my husband to tell the nurse it was time. 10 min later baby was born. Our bodies are wonderful!

When my daughter was birthing her second baby the nurses told her to take a comfort stop to pass faeces, unfortunately whilst this occurred my daughter began to push accidently and the baby was born very suddenly, when the baby took it's first breath it's stomach became full of gas and suddenly exploded in the birthing bed. The beautiful baby was pronounced as severely unwell and spent eight weeks in hospital - all because they told my daughter 'don't push '. The hospital said my daughter taking a comfort break so late in the birth was the reason her precious child suffered from a stomach explosion.

I remember the nurse yelling at me “STOP IT! don’t push,don’t push.. I SAID don’t push!” like maam I’m not doin SHITTTT my body is in control, not me, so blame evolution! Some of them L&D nurses are SO fkn rude & hateful. And it kills me bc they literally went to school for this & yet wanna act brand new. Not to mention this experience was during my first ever pregnancy/childbirth. I was barely 20yrs old & so afraid in a way I had never before experienced. All it would’ve taken is for a nurse to say, “everything is going as per usual & you’re doing good”. I would’ve felt so much relief. Instead I felt isolated & alone-even tho I had my husband & family- they also made me feel like I was dumb or as if they were judging me for literally not knowing how to give birth. Like, hello, I’m a teen pregnancy statistic & regardless of your personal opinion, I’m still a patient deserving of your compassion- if not your professionalism at the very fkn least! Edit: 47k likes & 235+ comments tells me one thing: that’s way too fkn many of us women commiserating over horrible experiences of labor & delivery here in the US. They treat us like we’re a package from Amazon Prime. The faster they can get us in then ship us out-unprepared & scared to death most often times-comes down to being overworked/understaffed/unsympathetic and most importantly it’s all abt MONEY! If you have Medicaid they’re even more likely to treat you as a commodity or less-than. Due to only receiving literally Pennie’s to the dollar for the services rendered to you. 68 cent per $1 to be exact according my pediatrician here in GA circa 2007. May be even less now.
You'd think that after that many years of school and being in that profession they would have at least learned to listen to the woman experiencing and feeling it. But they think they know better all the time. Just ignore them and do your own thing.

That's also why the 911 dispatcher was telling them not to hang up. Still gotta get to the hospital to make sure the baby and the mom are ok! This happened to one of my cousins; she gave birth while she was in the shower. Her husband got home only to find her in the tub and being like "yeah, this happened like 15 minutes ago, mind driving us to the hospital just in case?" They were all fine in the end.
Lol ! I'm 25, and I was also 4 weeks early. My original birthday was supposed to be April fools day and I played an early trick on them and came on March 2nd 😂. I was also the only baby out of my mother's 3 children who broke her water.
@@AaliyahSanders-ltpx I’m 22 and I took a while to get here because my birthday’s June 28th so here’s the story of how that happened a little background info before this story starts: my mom did not know she was even pregnant until she was about 4 months along so she did everything she wasn’t supposed to do like smoke and drink and she didn’t think to take a pregnancy test until she missed her period so once she missed her period it tipped her off to something being wrong because she had my sister 3 years before and she was showing signs of being pregnant flash forward to the day I was born so my mom goes to the hospital to figure out what’s going on because it’s been 10 months and she still has yet to have a baby and the doctors tell her “oh! Your in active labor “ now my mom is shook because she didn’t expect to give birth on that day so they prepare a labor room for her and leave her with my dad (who was just as shocked but he couldn’t say the words so the doctor comes in and tells her that she’s 9cm dilated and she can start pushing so of course she starts pushing and I come out after about 2 hours of labor now since I was tiny (about the size of a loaf of bread) my doctor had concerns and they took me to the ICU unit for more tests and stuff but after about 3 days they took me home and I was able to meet my older sister (who was very happy to be big sis) and now I’m turning 22 on June 28th and I am still planning my 38th birthday party

When I was giving birth to my daughter, my nurse asked me why I didn't push when I had a contraction. I told her I didn't feel the need to push yet. I'll wait for my body to tell me when It's time to push. The next contraction i felt it and I pushed and nurses said " wow how strong you are". I said.. "i'm not I just follow my body and what it want me to do". I didn't have to push hard. Three pushes and my daughter was out. It's so important to follow the body or you'll work against it.

Thank you for your message, my granddaughter is well now thank you - however she spent almost eight weeks in confinement with tubes and wires all over , it was incredibly sad to not be able to help or even hold her close just to pray and give to her all the love. Thank to God I must say after this traumatic event , now she is perfectly well and she has learned recently to play the bowed cello string instrument and this brings myself and daughter such happiness. Warning - during birthing don't let the staff try to needs or offer you bad advice, please if you felt they are wrong yours woman's body actually knows the best rather to any so-called medical advisors.
Fun fact if you dont push but relax as much as possible you give your body the chance to di what it needs to do, which is opening up the pelvic muscles
I think this is what happened to me. My body pushed on its own first about 3/4 times and it broke my waters like that and then it was time for me to push
100% I pushed 3 times. and when I mean push , I mean I RELAXED and then pushed my muscles. it was amazing and I can't wait to do it again. birth can be beautiful. LISTEN to your body

Do you know what’s worse than giving birth in a hospital?? Giving birth in a car where it’s small and in an uncomfortable position. They were probably on their way to the hospital but the baby decided to come early. Just because it’s expensive dosen’t mean you shouldn’t do it. Some hospitals have good treatment less stress and a good birthing expirience and what if the baby gets tangled in the umbillicok cords? There’s no way someone’s gonna use kitchen knifes and go into the ladies stomach. These emergencies are what the hospitals are for 💀 it’s expensive because they use tools and time.
This is beautiful. My body wouldn’t “open” for my babies… my pelvic bones were essentially stuck. So my babies never made it below a -3 in the birthing canal, and that was just my first. I went into labor with my second but nothing happened at all after the initial water break and mild contractions. Needless to say, mine were all c-sections. My doc jokingly said afterward “you know, this would’ve killed you 100 years ago… you couldn’t give birth to a lemon with the way your body reacts. All I can say is, thank god for modern medicine lol
Homebirth /free birth this happens a lot because there's no "coached pushing" and you just listen to your body. This is totally normal if your body feels safe!
I Sweden i went from reassured her position was good to descending within 2 minutes, i had been anxous VBAC might not work out. Was amazing to feel her head move as i processed what he'd told me. Then out in 3 gentle pushes.. a 9lb baby with minimal tear (2 sutures) and no stress at all. Annoyed at myself for not asking to see placenta though.. i was too in awe of my baby. First had anterior placenta and malpresentation, absolute agony for me and facing OB at Caesarian incision. She was not coming out that way, before pain started we had tried everything to have her rotate and descend... cord was short and placenta close.. We love OBs taking over sometimes. My biggest annoyance is when a woman says 'Dr X delivered the baby'... it should be the woman delivering her baby, not a stranger the baby never sees again.
I had a home birth for my last kid - it made the entire world of difference to be able to not have a ton of machines beeping or hooked up to me… and random strangers telling me this or that or xyz. I was able to listen to my body, take the exact time I needed (which was no time bc my baby was out in like 5 pushes lol), stand walk sit squat when I needed to.. and I had only my family with me 💛
This happened with my son. The doctor kept telling me to stop pushing that I wasn’t ready and I kept telling her it’s not me. My body literally ejected my son out without me even trying to. Sometimes we women need to pay more attention to what our bodies are telling us vs the doctors.
I love how they said you weren’t ready but YOUR BODY said you were absolutely ready! Like what makes them say you’re not ready? They need to learn that the body decided for itself sometimes!
Lol “stop pushing” sir how well can you hold in a fart before it starts to hurt or goes away? Not long I bet. The body does what the body wants and it wants the baby OUT
They told me to take a break because I was pushing for almost 2 hours and I tried but my body wouldn't let me. Ended up pushing for 3 and a half hours with no break but baby came out eventually. It's not easy to stop pushing.
Same for me with my daughter. Every woman in the room told him come NOW we can see the hair on the babies head & he said nah, she's not ready yet. Thank God my Mom was there to catch her. Still had to pay $10k to the hospital. Gotta love American Healthcare

My 2nd was just like this. I had no pain. Just felt funny, went to hospital, as soon as I got out the car, her head slipped out. As soon as I got on the bed she slid completely out. The nurses didn't even have gloves on yet. Best labor ever.
My mom was a midwife and she told me that once she was talking with a mom and idk if I remember right but she delivered while talking to her With no pain and fast Idk if this is the exact story But that was one of the unique cases my mom told me about
How many watching this wishing it was that quick for them. No hours in labour no gas and air no pain relief injections. The whole thing seemed so natural and mum and baby healthy they'll be going home soon, perfection.
Shoot I sure wish i had gas and air! I’m in Pa America. They barely believe in midwives. You gotta hire your own. And a doula is almost impossible to get without the perfect insurance 😞
Watching my two sons mother give birth to them will forever be the most impactful experience of my life. So much respect and appreciation for her in that moment. It's truly incredible, words and even videos don't do it justice.
there’s a certain point where your body takes over and there is no “mind over matter” anymore where not pushing or “holding it in” is concerned. i remember the nurses telling me at a certain point to stop pushing(they do this multiple times to help prevent tearing and to monitor you and the baby between contractions/pushing) and i was literally like “i can’t stop i’m sorry!” and after almost two days of labour, there was no better relief than realizing your body is finally taking over and naturally performing the duty nature created it for. very cool feeling honestly. women are amazing ❤
This is why most women have bad birthing experiences. It’s so sad but if you birth in most hospitals time is money and they don’t give you time to feel the fetal ejection reflex and push when you and your baby are ready. Instead they instruct you to push when they believe you are ready and this mentality is so fundamentally flawed. They end up having you pushing for hours, usually on your backs and you are led to believe that this is normal. It’s not normal! Fetal ejection reflex is real. We need to do a lot of re-education so women regain faith in their own bodies. We are fearfully and wonderfully made. Not to say that complications don’t happen but if we were properly educated on birthing those complications wouldn’t be the norm.
My mom had a midwife most her pregnancies which were amazing at keeping it natural. My one brother was sunny side up so the midwife had no choice but to take her to the hospital and delivered him by c-section.
Amen. I don't plan on having children but I'm 35 so most of my friends do. There seems to be a horrible trend of induction and artificial hormones and doctors not letting bodies do what they are designed to do. Then everyone wonders why they're having issues giving birth, healing, and breastfeeding. 🙄
@@Secretagent71114 definitely. I was one of mom’s first kids, (second born) and that was before she started having midwives, I was an induced baby. 12/30/1998. I would have been born early 1999 (a new year baby). My mom had 8 kids, she started home births after the 3rd.
My daughter was born in July 1992. I woke up at 3 AM. Husband came home at 3:30. I told him I’m ready to go to the hospital. I was at the hospital maybe 3 1/2 hours and that’s just what I thought. I didn’t hardly push it. She just, came out thank God we’re all happy. She has her little one now.❤
These are Canadians, so the hospital is free. This was also on an express toll route so they got free travel on this highway for a year & a gift card from the 407 for car seats
I was the same with my son too. Body took over. The nurse checked me as I was just getting in bed and as soon as my feet went in the bed my chin hit my chest my son nearly hit the foot of the bed. It was half hour drive and 5 minutes to have him. No pain meds either 👍😁☘️

Yessss! I’ve had four kiddos and only had an epidural with the first one. With her I had to lay on my back and push (it was AWFUL) but with the next three, my body did all the work. It felt like I had control but I didn’t, if that makes sense. Like hey this baby is COMING OUT so get ready, lmao. My second baby was born at 41 weeks and I went from walking around my hospital room in labor to hopping up on the bed and pulling her out myself… more like guiding her out. My body ejected her itself. It was -incredible-
I learned years ago that giving birth isn’t supposed to be painful, but often times it is because of fear. I read a women’s story about her experience and how she learned about this and was determined to give birth pain free. She said she basically just relaxed as much as possible when the contractions came, and didn’t let herself feel scared by them. She just took some deep breaths and let them come and go. Trusting that her body was doing it’s job. Eventually, she gave birth pain free at home and with no complications. It changed my perspective of childbirth completely. I hope every woman gets this experience, every time.
It’s true! I wasn’t scared with my first just recently untim they put me on oxygen because my son wasn’t receiving enough oxygen due to his umbilical cord getting pinched and his heart rate was dropping to the 80’s. My contractions on pitocin were strong and painful but the actual birth itself was not. When I began pushing, it only hurt because I began pushing harder to get him out faster. I was so worried about him. Labor was in total 3.5hours with only 20 minutes of pushing.
This relaxed process of birth is the "Dr Bradley" method! Totally natural! This Dr brought the father into the birth process, when before they were banned from the delivery room.

It’s not “supposed to be” painful, but it is for most people because of some unlucky evolution. When humans evolved to be bipedal, it changed our hipbones in a way that made it way harder to push out a baby.
When I was trying to push for myself (first time birth), the doctor told me, "don't force to push... you will tear yourself, just let the push happen on it's own". I'll never forget the golden hours ❤❤
I gave birth to my son like this - but on my knees in the passenger seat. It had nothing to do with me. It felt like a conversation between my uterus and my baby. I felt his head drop, then just had enough time to pull my pants down before he was pushed out and caught by dad. It was the most powerful and empowering experience. I truly felt my femaleness. No interfering medical intervention. Just love.

Big baby doesnt mean healthy baby. Big baby is actually bad and is a sign of macrosomnia. This condition is caused by gestational disbetes, and can lead to hypoglycemia in infants.
I’m so nervous to give birth for the first time, I’m pretty far along in pregnancy and I have to keep reassuring myself “your body will know what to do, you won’t even have to think about it”
lol I just gave birth to my 3rd daughter a week ago and once again they told me not to push because the doctor wasn’t in the delivery room yet. I told them I was gonna push, I had to my body was forcing me to do it. Listen to your body not what other people are telling you to do. When you have a baby, your body knows exactly what to do. God build our bodies perfectly, trust yourself!
had my first three weeks ago and absolutely, your body forces it. I wouldn't say my body did it on it's own but I HAD to push. almost had his ass in the car lol
Did you get an epidural? With me, they just upped it, so nothing happened till the Dr on call got there. I had to wait an hour and I think it caused some problems with my bladder. I'm pretty sure I have a prolapse bladder or uterus now because of it.
True , same with my youngest son , to me the nurse was not ready , got mad at me and trying to stop his birth, it was horrible, i had to scream for the Dr. He came running in to save me from that bad nurse
Mamma grabbed that baby straight away! She said "gimme, and let's go!!!" Birth has been made into such a scary experience, but our bodies know exactly what to do. I wish doctors listened to women more, and didn't force women's bodies to the max.

Women are told it’ll be the worst most painful and traumatic experience of our lives and it’s treated as a medical emergency in which women need people in white coats and a college education to save us from ourselves. How can we possible birth our babies without a room full of doctors and nurses telling us what to do and how to do it?!?! And B) because medical professionals are literally trained to be scared of birth. They are taught how to manage birth, to make it less “unpredictable” and scary. So even in the hospital, where staff sees it every single day and modern medicine is readily available, everyone is on edge and preparing for the worst. All these comments about how nurses don’t understand the fetal ejection reflex and are frantically yelling at women to “stop pushing!” when she literally can’t help it prove my point. Fear. Fear of birth has been instilled in them. Fear of catching a baby. Fear that they will lose their jobs if they don’t stop a birth from happening before the doctor is present. Fear that something catastrophic is going to happen when they don’t have backup. Etc etc etc. Also, most obstetric staff have never actually seen a true undisturbed, physiologic mother-led birth. They see medicated and/or highly managed births. And in medicated and/or highly managed births, a woman’s physiology is disrupted and altered and the labor & birth process does not and cannot happen in the way it would otherwise. In most cases, interfering with labor the way the obstetric system routinely does nowadays, literally makes birth MORE dangerous. Birth is literally a physiological bodily function. Yes, things can go wrong. But things can go wrong in all our bodily functions, including digestion, elimination, liver function, etc. Modern medicine is wonderful and life-saving, no doubt. But if we treated birth as the NORMAL biological, physiological function of a woman’s body like it IS, it would be so much less scary. And btw, there are SO many things we do on a daily basis that could be dangerous and even kill us. Driving, for one. Crossing the street. Swimming. Using sharp knives. We could slip in the shower. We could trip over our kids’ toys on the floor and injure ourselves. We could misstep and fall down the stairs. You get the point. We could choose to have fear over everything. Because EVERYTHING in life carries risk. Or, we could educate ourselves, arm ourselves with knowledge and whatever supports we feel is necessary (in the case of birth, utilize the tools in a hospital, or not) and surrender.
THIS! My son turned 3 on Saturday. He was so stubborn and put me through 37 hours of labor. The hour before I had him I kept feeling pressure and everything else because my epidural failed. The nurse told me to stop pushing because I was only 9cm and had started suggesting a c-section right before that. 🙄 I hadn’t been pushing. Thank goodness he came right after shift change. My MIL got our nurse from the day prior who was the SWEETEST nurse. She practically delivered our son. The hospitalist was in there for maybe 15 seconds before he came. My second will be 2 in July and the hospitalist barely had time to set up. He was like I know that it’s hard not to but if you can try not to push. He was that close. He coached me through everything and I had no idea my son had been born when he said are you ready to meet your son. That second hospital was a heaven sent. I will never forget the kindness or the hospitalist for the kindness they showed my family. ❤
Omg my epidural started failing like 7 hrs before I had my daughter, I was 34 hrs in labor because I had to be in induced. I had a nurse who was completely arguing me when I was telling her I could feel everything and moving my legs way more than I’m suppose to. Around an hr before I delivered, I felt like the urge to push but one nurse for like the last 3 hrs kept saying I was only 9cm, right after my ob came in my room and told me I was ready and at 10cm.
Oh wow that is horrendous!! When my daughter was birthing her second baby the nurses told her to take a comfort stop to pass faeces, unfortunately whilst this occurred my daughter began to push accidently and the baby was born very suddenly, when the baby took it's first breath it's stomach became full of gas and suddenly exploded in the birthing bed. The beautiful baby was pronounced as severely unwell and spent eight weeks in hospital - all because they told my daughter 'don't push '. The hospital said my daughter taking a comfort break so late in the birth was the reason her precious child suffered from a stomach explosion.
Omg you too?? My mom was in labor with me for 38 hrs (though it was more bc of doctors negligence) and eventually had to be operated out via c-section because the doctor just kept telling my mom to push
My son was a Premie and it took me 72hrs before my Doctors Daughter Said literally..FB it get her ready... We taking the baby!! I was happy & scared but he's a bouncing healthy 16yr old now!!!
When I had my son many years ago (my second child) the original delivery room nurse I had was inexperienced and I kept telling her the baby was coming and she kept saying "no it's not coming, no it's not coming". I could feel the crowning. I told her I wanted another nurse. Finally an experienced nurse came in and I was so glad to see her I grabbed her hand and I said "my baby is coming". The other nurse said "she keeps saying the baby's coming." The experience nurse asked her "have you ever had a baby?" and the young nurse said no. The experienced nurse told her "well you need to shut up and get out of here". My labor was 2 hours and 45 minutes from the beginning until he was born. I remember that vividly and it has been over 40 years. This is an inspiring video...
@@CrystalM1917 that's probably true. I didn't necessarily want her to get out, I just wanted someone in there who was experienced and knew what to do. I was still young and my son came fast. Even faster than my daughter had.
I keep watching this, waiting for that first cry from that baby. Hope both mom and baby are safe, happy, and healthy. There's nothing that says otherwise, so I'll assume they're living their best life as a happy family!❤❤❤
I was talking to my nurse during my fourth delivery and I remember her eyes all wide and she got on the radio and said "she's unintentionally pushing, I need a doctor!"
Were you laying down or sitting like this lady? From all ive read it seems like all births should be done not laying down because its so much easier, faster and safer for mommy and baby and now that ive heard of this involutary contractions im curious if it has to do with the position too

Praying should I have a child one day, the birth process does not conclude in a vehicle. lol Ideally, would rather be at home or in a hospital if medically necessary but without the cascade of interventions.
i birthed my first two in the hospital, was induced, medicated the whole 9 yards! my 3rd, i was waited until she was ready and boy when they’re ready they’re ready… i only made it 15 min down the rd and we pulled over and i birthed her in the passenger seat of my car on the side of an interstate! ❤ luckily the ambulance got there just in time for me to push one time and she was out! when they pulled up i tried standing- bad idea, that was when i put my hand down there and realized she was already fully crowning. i still can’t believe it happened but it’s amazing what we’re capable of when we just let our bodies do they’re job! i felt so much better after birthing her vs my first two. i was up and ready to go vs being drugged up, weak and exhausted! highly recommend natural births!
haha this almost my same story except we were 30 mins away from the hospital! like you, my 3rd that was born in the car was the most pleasant compared to being medicated with the first 2
I was induced with my 2 boys thanks to being a T1D. It was awful. My first weighted 8lbs 6oz, my 2nd was 6lbs 6oz and those 2lbs make a huge difference.
I was induced with my first and super drugged up and I was happy I did. With my second it was natural and that was great too. I can't knock either option. They're both great, it just depends on the person, their experience, and the pregnancy
But what you experience with your third delivery is not common in the first deliveries. What you experienced usually happens to women who have had a couple of babies already.
This was the best feeling ever for me.. having to giving birth to a human is the most rewarding thing god has ever given us women.. praise the lord. So glad the baby and mama did so well ♥️

I wanna talk about how she was told to not hang up bc it sounded like she was on the phone with emergency services but if the baby is out and healthy and they’re heading to the hospital, there’s no reason for her to stay on the line
@@Itz_GlitchyAsh no, they need to be guided on how to keep the baby alive until they get to the hospital. For example they need to know to double tie the cord so that the blood doesnt go back into the placenta leading to the death of the baby. That happened to a nurse in comment section
@reading1713 gosh I've never heard of that. Look up lotus birth. Some people keep the placenta attached for several hours so all the blood goes into the baby.
Put the baby on her was not calm or cool headed. Not one person noticed the baby was essentially dead? Calm and cool headed would be get clear airway and do cpr and such. Really? No one? How is this a celebration when the baby isn't breathing, isn't crying, isn't moving, and is blue?
@lovegodfirst654 🤣🤣 that's exactly what every baby looks like when it comes out!! It's not blue or dead. It's covered in vernix and has been floating in a bag of fluid for 9 months, so the skin looks blue. This mama did perfect and the baby looks perfectly healthy.
Child birth is the best thing ever in this world. I was present with each of our kids during birth. I thank my wife every day for our children. I'm a big dude, I honestly don't think I could carry a child full term if I was a Mum. So hats off to all the Mums out there💙💚❤We Love You... xxxx
This happened with my daughter. I did like half a small push & there was NO stopping her after that. I told them I wanted to push & they said I wasnt ready. I said "ok well you can either stand there or leave but I'm pushing either way"😂 I was so blessed. They broke my water at 3am & she was born at 6:06am after that tiny half push. 9lbs 6oz & 22. 5 inches. ❤
So crazy. I didn't have this reflex with my first birth. It took 3hrs of pushing. Second baby this reflex took me by surprise and baby was out in 3 pushes. Such a difference!
It’s possibly because you weren’t given the opportunity to wait for this reflex. First time in labor is generally much longer. It’s probable that you were instructed to push when your body wasn’t ready hence why it took 3 hours to push.
@angelag5157 absolutely true! We all have the reflex. Then these demons, I mean doctors take control and prevent us from doing as God intended. They cause as much mental and physical damage as possible. 😢
This happened with my daughter. The nurse said don't push so I yelled "I can't help it" my doctor walked in legit a minute before baby shot out and was able to catch her.
This happened to me but in the hospital. The nurses kept telling me over and over to stop pushing! I finally yelled that I was not pushing. The only reason they were doing this was because they didn't want me to deliver without the doctor there. The doctor did make it. I literally only pushed once to get her shoulders out. I was super annoyed by them. Also, the anesthesiologist had to be called in late to give me more. I think he wasn't happy about it and administered it to fast. My whole body seized up, and my legs started shaking uncontrollably. It barely lasted a whole minute, but it was so scary. This was with my second child.
@TheDramacist Baby was perfect. It was a normal healthy delivery. Honestly, I didn't even need the doctor. It was an easy delivery. I only had an epidural because they told me I couldn't move around, and i had to stay still on the bed and not move. The baby was moving too much, and they couldn't keep the monitor on her. Heart rate was normal tho. I just had to suffer so they could have control. Baby was completely fine. I think they only wanted the doctor in there to charge insurance. How can you bill for a delivery if the doctor wasn't even there?
They want the doctor there so the doctor can get paid. They only get paid for delivery if they are physically there, even if they walk in and catch the baby and that’s all they do. Tell them to shut up if they tell you to wait for the doctor.
That's what happened to me with my third child because the nurses were changing shifts. The morning nurses didn't want me to deliver because they'd have to stay and didn't want to. The new nurse told me to start pushing and then told me to stop. I asked why. She said because the baby is coming! I told her that's what happens when I push!! The baby comes out. They got the doctor 30 minutes later. 2 pushes, and we were done.
This kind of delivery happened with my daughter (but in the hospital). They were trying to induce and I rolled over to take a nap while I was waiting and my water broke. I felt like I had the worst urge to go to the bathroom in my entire life and headed for the toilet. I figured I had time (my two previous labors with my sons were 16.5 and 8.5 hours). Thought I had to go but couldn't...contractions got INSANE to the point I almost couldn't get back to the bed. 42 minute labor from 2cm to 10 and zero pushing whatsoever. Doctor never showed up and my NURSE delivered me...Pam the RN was the real hero that day. Precipitous labor is NO JOKE. My daughter is now an adult with a baby of her own, and another on the way in the spring.
These comments lets me know how dense the medical workers are. They should know that the body will do what it wants when it wants during childbirth by NOW. -That baby is big and healthy 💕 Congrats to the parents.

What are you even contradicting in what she said? You are simply lecturing without understanding what's going on. That person was agreeing with others that the mother should be supported in her instincts and not told to fight against her body's natural process to birth her child(ren). Which is what these "medical professionals" routinely do because they are ignorant and/or want things done in their own time, unconcerned with the fact that attempts to stop active labor will cause damage. Just as attempts to force the baby out before labor is active and the ejection reflex is initiated. I have personally witnessed this and heard NUMEROUS stories that share extremely similar details to what I have seen. In addition to other abuses and neglect that vulnerable birthing mothers are commonly victims of at the hands of "trained medical professionals".
Talk about a reflex reaction! Me and my husband aren't even criers or super outwardly emotional but the second we saw our baby like it's like being hit by an emotional bus lol, you can't help but cry. I honestly think it's probably one of the most powerful feelings you'll ever have. Enjoy your baby!
I want this type of birthing...i gave birth in a dream like this, so I hope it will be in reality...30week pregnant first... I gave birth yesterday, and it wasn't bad at all. I labored at home until I was 10 cm dialted, and when I got to the hospital, I gave birth right away... not even 30 minutes. The only problem is my child was born with Down syndrome, and I don't have her with me she staying in the NiCU 😢😢😭
At first, I thought you meant the whole in the car situation and I was like, "why the hell would you want to give birth in a cramped, uncomfortable car?" Lol
This happened to me. Everyone was yelling at me not to push and I was like dude…. Can’t control it 🤣 my body was violently ejecting my son. It was nuts.
My doctor and nurses got mad at me because I rolled on to my side, and my son shot out like a football and almost hit the wall in the very back of the room. But my husband caught him, and then my dad caught my husband.
Awww😍 My sister’s midwife was stuck in traffic so I delivered her baby. He was even born fully intact in his amniotic sac. It was a magical experience. Mom and baby were great.

Then this same sister-in-law had a home birth of twins by herself with the assistance of her 5 year old daughter. Some women are blessed to have a baby 1-2-3 and out…❤
That's exactly what happened to me. My daughter came out all on her own. Thank God we were in the hospital but there were no nurses or doctors in the room. It was my husband who caught her as she came out!! Absolutely love just how calm mom & dad are!! Hope mommy & baby were both ok!!!
A distant cousin of mine gave birth before the paramedics could show up. She literally woke up at 2am, husband on a work trip, her 3 weeks before scheduled birthday, felt like having a poop broke her water in the bathroom crawled to her phone to call for a ambulance and call her best friend/neighbor to come babysit her other 2 children while she would go to the hospital. Total time 17 minutes. She opened the door for paramedics with the baby in a towel. Some birts are truly magic
My baby was too big for me to handle! Thought I was going to have a natural birth until I couldn’t take it anymore. Knock me out, please I screamed. Hours later mom was in recovery waking me up and she said, the baby is a boy, and I think I may have scared her a little when I responded, what baby? Then it slowly dawned on me that she was telling me that my baby was a boy. Both the concerned and relieved looks were priceless. She was with me all the way through my delivery because my husband had been drafted into the army.
PLEASE make sure the cord gets double tied. When I worked nights as a nurse. A couple traveling I57 delivered their 1st baby on the side of the road. This was before cell phones. The baby was on Moms chest when they arrived at the hospital and the PLACENTAL was in the floor board .THE BABY WAS DEAD DUE TO ALL ITS BLOOD BEING PULLED BACK INTO THE PLACENTA. I will never FORGET MOMS SCREAMS..
My daughter was born like that and it really shocked me that I had no control over my body because I was in the labor room not the delivery room. I was scared and upset about not being in the delivery room and my husband had left to get the nurse, I was by myself and my baby was being born and I had no control over my body. Your body knows what to do by reflexes. Never in my life had I experienced not being in control, that was shocking. Nature is amazing and God thought of everything when He designed us. I was only 19 years old and I didn’t know much. I thought you had to be in the delivery room with the doctor delivering the baby. The truth is a woman could do it by herself. Not a good idea because the baby really needs someone to clear the airway, notice that baby didn’t cry.
I was alone too 😢😢😢 I was hurting too much to find the call button but my body started injecting my baby out and all I could do was scream, the nurse came running and said omg wait let me get the dr, and I yelled too late and my daughter squirted up into my hands 😂 8 pounds 9 oz!
The baby's Airway seldom needs to be cleared. The compression on their chest keeps them from inhaling any fluids. And being in a downward position any fluids that they did manage to get in their mouth would likely drain out. Babies seldom cry immediately. They've just been through an incredible experience and they themselves are in a bit of a shock. Not crying doesn't mean they're not breathing. The reason you need a doctor in the room is if there's a complication like a cord around the baby's neck, shoulder dystocia, umbilical cord prolapse, etc.
I’ve had five children, my easiest and most natural was my third. I accidentally had her at home by myself. I just made it off the toilet and the birth was simple. I did breathing and it all flowed for me. Turns out when the paramedic came, it was Valentine’s Day and my little girl had a love ❤️ hickie on her hand.
Just want to say, I’ve never seen birth happen and its so emotional, especially as someone who could potentially want kids. I’m so grateful to this momma for sharing ❤ life is such a miracle, my tears are falling gently!!
I had my son in my camper bathroom and 1000% was like this. My water broke and all I had to do was stand up and he was born. Like the instincts and the way you know what to do but don’t at the same time when you have those kinda moments happening is insane. Crazy experience.
See why does it seem women in cars have their baby’s fast and easy but in the hospital all types of crazy ish happens. They did this naturally and effortlessly!
Medical staff interfering with the natural birth, fear the medical staff may put on you, pressure, hospitals tend to give off a different vine than a place you find comforting....
I experienced this too! The best way I could describe it to someone was, you know when you're dry heaving or throwing up and you want to stop but you can't? Your body just continues to do it. That's how it felt for me.

@@dianaayt I was sitting up right with my legs up and open. I was leaned as far forward sitting up as I could. I've had 3 pregnancies, each one I gave birth to naturally. I only felt this strong uncontrollably pushing, again only way to describe it is when you're throwing up/dry heaving uncontrollably, with my last child. She's 3 now.
So incredibly beautiful!…….God bless them!……..when the dr. delivered my 2nd baby, 1st son…..I was holding my wife’s hand, and the physician started weeping……it was So touching!

Most pioneer women had to give birth on their own on the Praries. A doctor was a day or more away by buggy. A lot women died in child birth. Other women would birth like it was part of their job that day and would then get up and prepare a meal for her husband and kids. It was expected out of them.

I pushed for around an hour with zero results. My body started pushing for me and he was out in two or three minutes. This reflex is so cool and natural!

They made me push for 4 hours!!! I was soooo exhausted, my blood pressure was through the roof, and I almost fainted many times. I kept saying I don't feel like I need to push yet! I don't feel my body trying to push yet! And they kept making me!!! This was with my first and I had no idea what to expect. Then they decided I wasn't progressing so needed an emergency c-section and literally right after they prepped me and were just about to wheel me to surgery my body started wanting to push and I could feel it!!! And I was screaming and crying by this time... please let me push again!! I can do it this time!!! They kept telling me to stop and knocked me out and I woke up in the recovery room. They had to pull my baby back out of the birth canal bc by the time they cut me my body was trying to eject the baby! My pelvis never did spread until that moment so there was no way for me to push the baby out until then! If they had waited my health and the baby's wouldn't have been jeopardized in the first place and wouldn't have needed to have an emergency c-section! And then I wouldn't have had to have 2 more after! So I never got to experience giving birth naturally bc of modern doctors acting as if they know better than my own body did. Just bc I was fully dilated and effaced didn't mean it was time for me to push!!! There was no reason other than the doctor's convenience that I had to start pushing until my body started to tell me to.
@@NotWokebutAwake.happened to me as well!! I got in the OR room, the nurse took a look in there and baby’s head was out and Surgeon said no we need to do the csection and he had to push him back to be able to take him out. 1 yr postpartum and i hated the experience! My first baby too!
@@jewelslaggy304 I felt like a failure for so long. I had a birth plan of no drugs all natural but in the hospital! I was young but I was 18! And my husband and I took classes and everything! My parents helped me a lot bc my dad was in there with my mom when she delivered 4 naturally! So I was so secure in myself! Until being induced! That is unnatural! And it forces labor. It was about 8 hrs and I still wasn't having reg contrations or dilating. So they broke my water! And for some reason all the pitocin hit me at once and i went into full force labor straight in my back!!! They wouldn't let me get up or move bc my BP shot up, and bc I was stressing the baby was stressing. So they made me have an epidural. Blah blah blah 22 hrs later after pushing without needing to for 4 hrs and being faint they take me to OR same as you. My epidural had worn off and I was needing to push so bad and they noticed I was crowing also, so I felt them cut me open and pull the baby out with no meds bc they couldn't give me anything else until cord was cut. As soon as cord was cut they knocked me out! I have no memory of seeing my baby until 3 days later I was kept so high on meds. My father told me I almost died and had to have 2 blood transfusions!!! I wanted to try again to have a Vback but my wonderful doctor after wouldn't risk it. He said they messed me up. And I could get pregnant and carry the baby fine but he was seriously concerned about delivery for both baby and I. So he delivered my next 2 by. Cesarean. He was wonderful.
@@jewelslaggy304 I'm so sorry you experienced almost exactly what I did. It was horrible and ruined what could have and should have been the most joyous moment in our lives. The birth of our first child! But I just got to be there when my first grandbaby was born. And my daughter did amazing and it was great for her! I was so proud. AM so proud! Hehd

This is crazy and awesome! Same exact thing happened with my youngest daughter! Was going across a 3.5 mile bridge and my wife said the baby was coming now and I called 911 to get an ambulance to meet us! Well long story short I had to pull over and barely got around in time to the passenger seat to take her pants off and catch our daughter and she came flopping out just like this! She wasn’t crying for almost a min and I had to flip her over and pat her back and she finally started to cry! It was the craziest and happiest moment of my life! We then had to sit there for the longest 10 minutes of our lives until the ambulance got there. I suffer from severe anxiety and remained calm the whole time until they both got into the ambulance then I blacked out and fell over. Luckily the fire rescue guys were right next to me and caught me before hitting the ground. They then gave me oxygen and sat there for a good 15-20 mins until my panic attack was over. Still one of the craziest days of my life!

I gave birth to my daughter in my home. It's a real reflex. I remember my midwife saying, "you're going to push, without trying. Your body WILL push the baby out." So for curiosity sake, when a contraction happened, I didn't push. And WHOOP I felt my daughter slide all the way down and begin crowning. And after I pushed her head out, the rest just HAPPENED. I remember thinking to myself I'M NOT DOING THIS I'M NOT DOING THIS. My female instincts kicked into overdrive and the mama bear was birthing. It was honestly an amazing experience.
My younger sister who is much stronger person then me had a baby. She told me right after she gave birth don’t have baby. She said she doesn’t remember saying that.
Doctors are in so much of a hurry. I had that reflex feeling with my first, hand I felt very little discomfort. The second one not so much. A different dr and his ways was more difficult.
I had a first birth in Germany Suhl ( very good hospital it was in summer 2015) hospital with baby's fetal ejection reflex on left side in bed, after water immersion.
Glad to know this! I planned on a natural unmedicated birth, I was at a birthing center but after 25+ hours of intense labor and back labor and only making it to 3cm, my midwife’s said it’d be best to go to the hospital. So I got the epidural and pushed on my back because I was completely numb, total opposite of what I wanted but with next baby I want to attempt natural again!
I was told in the hospital to not push. I wasn’t pushing. My body was literally pushing my son out on its own and they told me not to like I could control it. Horrible birthing experience there especially for a first time mom like myself. It wasn’t like that when any of us were born there and it seems like I’m the only one brave enough to speak on it.
I love how "daddy" was the perfect receiver. He helped birth his child, and THAT to me is something beyond special. Something millions of women have never experienced. I wish I would've left the medical "extras" out of my past births. Someone on standby would've been good enough .

@@jaysax7381 I mean the experience and the bond that's involved. Yes, a healthy baby is a wonderful gift. The continued bond on the parents being there for one another is important. There's a lot of depression that sometimes sets in after having a baby. That parental bond is VERY important. That's what I meant by my comment. MY own opinion.
Most pioneer women had to give birth on their own on the Praries. Some were fortunate enough to have their husbands at home that day as it was rare that he could take a day off. A doctor was a day away by buggy and out of reach. A lot women died in child birth. Other women would birth like it was part of their job that day and would then get up and prepare a meal for her husband and kids. It was expected out of them. And they would turn around and get pregnant as they needed the help the kids provided on the farm. They were tough as nails then. They didn't have a choice.

I've known too many babies born dead and women who bled profusely to say this. My births were easy and I still almost lost a baby due to meconium aspiration and a double cord wrap. Come on now. Let's be real. Childbirth is one of the most dangerous things a person could do in their life, unassisted childbirth without prenatal care has a high mortality rate across the board.

You do have to push. Your body makes you push. This "ejection" isn't common and typically occurs with women who've had several children.

She was planning a home birth which was fortunate under the circumstances. My sister’s friend had her second baby in the elevator of the hospital. One of the nurses comforted her saying “Don’t worry, honey. One lady gave birth on the front lawn.” My sister’s friend wailed “I know! That was me!” ❤️😂😆🤣❤️

Sadly most women drive everywhere and have so much less internal muscles than they did decades ago.
Of course 1st child is the hardest because it's yr 1st and you don't knkw what ur doing bit even with the first child. Yr body produces hormones so ur bones and ligaments soften so it's easier for them to move.
If I could give every pregnant women 1 peice of advice, if yr able to swim, go 3 times a week and swim as hard and as fast as you can for as long as you can. The muscles you will build in those ..however many months you get to do it for....let's say 6 months will make ur child birth so much easier.

@@msdarby515 Not me. It happened to me with my first baby. I started having contractions and called my husband. I had our baby less than three minutes later in the bathroom by myself.
One of my sons had a precipitous birth. He was pushing himself out, and the nurse held him back for at least ten minutes until the doctor arrived. This caused my baby to nearly die. When he took his first breath, both his lungs burst. He also got Group B Strep septicemia, which was in all his systems except his nervous system. Luckily, he had a miraculous recovery on his third day of life and was able to be taken off the respirator. He's 28 years old now - tall and strong, happily married and healthy. I still call him my miracle boy.

The biggest emotional rush of my life when I heard my daughter cry for the first time then placed on my chest. I sobbed the happiest tears ever. I’ll never forget that feeling. I couldn’t stop my body from pushing my baby out when they were born. I started feeling the urge to push and I told my mom and my husband to tell the nurse it was time. 10 min later baby was born. Our bodies are wonderful!

When my daughter was birthing her second baby the nurses told her to take a comfort stop to pass faeces, unfortunately whilst this occurred my daughter began to push accidently and the baby was born very suddenly, when the baby took it's first breath it's stomach became full of gas and suddenly exploded in the birthing bed. The beautiful baby was pronounced as severely unwell and spent eight weeks in hospital - all because they told my daughter 'don't push '. The hospital said my daughter taking a comfort break so late in the birth was the reason her precious child suffered from a stomach explosion.

Some of them L&D nurses are SO fkn rude & hateful. And it kills me bc they literally went to school for this & yet wanna act brand new.
Not to mention this experience was during my first ever pregnancy/childbirth. I was barely 20yrs old & so afraid in a way I had never before experienced. All it would’ve taken is for a nurse to say, “everything is going as per usual & you’re doing good”. I would’ve felt so much relief. Instead I felt isolated & alone-even tho I had my husband & family- they also made me feel like I was dumb or as if they were judging me for literally not knowing how to give birth. Like, hello, I’m a teen pregnancy statistic & regardless of your personal opinion, I’m still a patient deserving of your compassion- if not your professionalism at the very fkn least!

They treat us like we’re a package from Amazon Prime. The faster they can get us in then ship us out-unprepared & scared to death most often times-comes down to being overworked/understaffed/unsympathetic and most importantly it’s all abt MONEY! If you have Medicaid they’re even more likely to treat you as a commodity or less-than. This happened to one of my cousins; she gave birth while she was in the shower. Her husband got home only to find her in the tub and being like "yeah, this happened like 15 minutes ago, mind driving us to the hospital just in case?" They were all fine in the end.

Lol ! I'm 25, and I was also 4 weeks early. My original birthday was supposed to be April fools day and I played an early trick on them and came on March 2nd 😂. I was also the only baby out of my mother's 3 children who broke her water.
@@AaliyahSanders-ltpx I’m 22 and I took a while to get here because my birthday’s June 28th so here’s the story of how that happened a little background info before this story starts: my mom did not know she was even pregnant until she was about 4 months along so she did everything she wasn’t supposed to do like smoke and drink and she didn’t think to take a pregnancy test until she missed her period so once she missed her period it tipped her off to something being wrong because she had my sister 3 years before and she was showing signs of being pregnant flash forward to the day I was born so my mom goes to the hospital to figure out what’s going on because it’s been 10 months and she still has yet to have a baby and the doctors tell her “oh! Your in active labor “ now my mom is shook because she didn’t expect to give birth on that day so they prepare a labor room for her and leave her with my dad (who was just as shocked but he couldn’t say the words so the doctor comes in and tells her that she’s 9cm dilated and she can start pushing so of course she starts pushing and I come out after about 2 hours of labor now since I was tiny (about the size of a loaf of bread) my doctor had concerns and they took me to the ICU unit for more tests and stuff but after about 3 days they took me home and I was able to meet my older sister (who was very happy to be big sis) and now I’m turning 22 on June 28th and I am still planning my 38th birthday party

When I was giving birth to my daughter, my nurse asked me why I didn't push when I had a contraction. I told her I didn't feel the need to push yet. I'll wait for my body to tell me when It's time to push. The next contraction i felt it and I pushed and nurses said " wow how strong you are". I said.. "i'm not I just follow my body and what it want me to do". I didn't have to push hard. Three pushes and my daughter was out. It's so important to follow the body or you'll work against it.

Thank you for your message, my granddaughter is well now thank you - however she spent almost eight weeks in confinement with tubes and wires all over , it was incredibly sad to not be able to help or even hold her close just to pray and give to her all the love. Thank to God I must say after this traumatic event , now she is perfectly well and she has learned recently to play the bowed cello string instrument and this brings myself and daughter such happiness. Warning - during birthing don't let the staff try to needs or offer you bad advice, please if you felt they are wrong yours woman's body actually knows the best rather to any so-called medical advisors.

I think this is what happened to me. My body pushed on its own first about 3/4 times and it broke my waters like that and then it was time for me to push
100% I pushed 3 times. and when I mean push , I mean I RELAXED and then pushed my muscles. it was amazing and I can't wait to do it again. birth can be beautiful. LISTEN to your body

Do you know what’s worse than giving birth in a hospital?? Giving birth in a car where it’s small and in an uncomfortable position. They were probably on their way to the hospital but the baby decided to come early. Just because it’s expensive dosen’t mean you shouldn’t do it.
Some hospitals have good treatment less stress and a good birthing expirience and what if the baby gets tangled in the umbillicok cords? There’s no way someone’s gonna use kitchen knifes and go into the ladies stomach. These emergencies are what the hospitals are for 💀 it’s expensive because they use tools and time.

This is beautiful. My body wouldn’t “open” for my babies… my pelvic bones were essentially stuck. So my babies never made it below a -3 in the birthing canal, and that was just my first. I went into labor with my second but nothing happened at all after the initial water break and mild contractions. Needless to say, mine were all c-sections. My doc jokingly said afterward “you know, this would’ve killed you 100 years ago… you couldn’t give birth to a lemon with the way your body reacts. All I can say is, thank god for modern medicine lol

Homebirth /free birth this happens a lot because there's no "coached pushing" and you just listen to your body. This is totally normal if your body feels safe!
I Sweden i went from reassured her position was good to descending within 2 minutes, i had been anxous VBAC might not work out. Was amazing to feel her head move as i processed what he'd told me. Then out in 3 gentle pushes.. a 9lb baby with minimal tear (2 sutures) and no stress at all. Annoyed at myself for not asking to see placenta though.. i was too in awe of my baby. First had anterior placenta and malpresentation, absolute agony for me and facing OB at Caesarian incision. She was not coming out that way, before pain started we had tried everything to have her rotate and descend... cord was short and placenta close.. We love OBs taking over sometimes.
My biggest annoyance is when a woman says 'Dr X delivered the baby'... it should be the woman delivering her baby, not a stranger the baby never sees again.
I had a home birth for my last kid - it made the entire world of difference to be able to not have a ton of machines beeping or hooked up to me… and random strangers telling me this or that or xyz.
I was able to listen to my body, take the exact time I needed (which was no time bc my baby was out in like 5 pushes lol), stand walk sit squat when I needed to.. and I had only my family with me 💛

This happened with my son. The doctor kept telling me to stop pushing that I wasn’t ready and I kept telling her it’s not me. My body literally ejected my son out without me even trying to. Sometimes we women need to pay more attention to what our bodies are telling us vs the doctors.
I love how they said you weren’t ready but YOUR BODY said you were absolutely ready! Like what makes them say you’re not ready? They need to learn that the body decided for itself sometimes!

They told me to take a break because I was pushing for almost 2 hours and I tried but my body wouldn't let me. Ended up pushing for 3 and a half hours with no break but baby came out eventually. It's not easy to stop pushing.
Same for me with my daughter. Every woman in the room told him come NOW we can see the hair on the babies head & he said nah, she's not ready yet. Thank God my Mom was there to catch her. Still had to pay $10k to the hospital. Gotta love American Healthcare

My 2nd was just like this. I had no pain. Just felt funny, went to hospital, as soon as I got out the car, her head slipped out. As soon as I got on the bed she slid completely out. The nurses didn't even have gloves on yet. Best labor ever.

there’s a certain point where your body takes over and there is no “mind over matter” anymore where not pushing or “holding it in” is concerned. i remember the nurses telling me at a certain point to stop pushing(they do this multiple times to help prevent tearing and to monitor you and the baby between contractions/pushing) and i was literally like “i can’t stop i’m sorry!” and after almost two days of labour, there was no better relief than realizing your body is finally taking over and naturally performing the duty nature created it for. very cool feeling honestly. women are amazing ❤

This is why most women have bad birthing experiences. It’s so sad but if you birth in most hospitals time is money and they don’t give you time to feel the fetal ejection reflex and push when you and your baby are ready. Instead they instruct you to push when they believe you are ready and this mentality is so fundamentally flawed. They end up having you pushing for hours, usually on your backs and you are led to believe that this is normal. It’s not normal! Fetal ejection reflex is real. We need to do a lot of re-education so women regain faith in their own bodies. We are fearfully and wonderfully made. Not to say that complications don’t happen but if we were properly educated on birthing those complications wouldn’t be the norm.
My mom had a midwife most her pregnancies which were amazing at keeping it natural. My one brother was sunny side up so the midwife had no choice but to take her to the hospital and delivered him by c-section.
Amen. I don't plan on having children but I'm 35 so most of my friends do. There seems to be a horrible trend of induction and artificial hormones and doctors not letting bodies do what they are designed to do. Then everyone wonders why they're having issues giving birth, healing, and breastfeeding. 🙄

@@Secretagent71114 definitely. I was one of mom’s first kids, (second born) and that was before she started having midwives, I was an induced baby. 12/30/1998. I would have been born early 1999 (a new year baby). My mom had 8 kids, she started home births after the 3rd.

My daughter was born in July 1992. I woke up at 3 AM. Husband came home at 3:30. I told him I’m ready to go to the hospital. I was at the hospital maybe 3 1/2 hours and that’s just what I thought. I didn’t hardly push it. She just, came out thank God we’re all happy. She has her little one now.❤

These are Canadians, so the hospital is free. This was also on an express toll route so they got free travel on this highway for a year & a gift card from the 407 for car seats

I was the same with my son too. Body took over. The nurse checked me as I was just getting in bed and as soon as my feet went in the bed my chin hit my chest my son nearly hit the foot of the bed. It was half hour drive and 5 minutes to have him. No pain meds either 👍😁☘️

Yessss! I’ve had four kiddos and only had an epidural with the first one. With her I had to lay on my back and push (it was AWFUL) but with the next three, my body did all the work. It felt like I had control but I didn’t, if that makes sense. Like hey this baby is COMING OUT so get ready, lmao. My second baby was born at 41 weeks and I went from walking around my hospital room in labor to hopping up on the bed and pulling her out myself… more like guiding her out. My body ejected her itself. It was -incredible-
I learned years ago that giving birth isn’t supposed to be painful, but often times it is because of fear.
I read a women’s story about her experience and how she learned about this and was determined to give birth pain free.
She said she basically just relaxed as much as possible when the contractions came, and didn’t let herself feel scared by them. She just took some deep breaths and let them come and go. Trusting that her body was doing it’s job.
Eventually, she gave birth pain free at home and with no complications. It changed my perspective of childbirth completely. I hope every woman gets this experience, every time.
It’s true! I wasn’t scared with my first just recently untim they put me on oxygen because my son wasn’t receiving enough oxygen due to his umbilical cord getting pinched and his heart rate was dropping to the 80’s. My contractions on pitocin were strong and painful but the actual birth itself was not. When I began pushing, it only hurt because I began pushing harder to get him out faster. I was so worried about him. Labor was in total 3.5hours with only 20 minutes of pushing.
This relaxed process of birth is the "Dr Bradley" method! Totally natural! This Dr brought the father into the birth process, when before they were banned from the delivery room.

It’s not “supposed to be” painful, but it is for most people because of some unlucky evolution. When humans evolved to be bipedal, it changed our hipbones in a way that made it way harder to push out a baby.
When I was trying to push for myself (first time birth), the doctor told me, "don't force to push... you will tear yourself, just let the push happen on it's own". I'll never forget the golden hours ❤❤
I gave birth to my son like this - but on my knees in the passenger seat. It had nothing to do with me. It felt like a conversation between my uterus and my baby. I felt his head drop, then just had enough time to pull my pants down before he was pushed out and caught by dad. It was the most powerful and empowering experience. I truly felt my femaleness. No interfering medical intervention. Just love.

lol I just gave birth to my 3rd daughter a week ago and once again they told me not to push because the doctor wasn’t in the delivery room yet. I told them I was gonna push, I had to my body was forcing me to do it. Listen to your body not what other people are telling you to do. When you have a baby, your body knows exactly what to do. God build our bodies perfectly, trust yourself!

Did you get an epidural? With me, they just upped it, so nothing happened till the Dr on call got there. I had to wait an hour and I think it caused some problems with my bladder. I'm pretty sure I have a prolapse bladder or uterus now because of it.

Women are told it’ll be the worst most painful and traumatic experience of our lives and it’s treated as a medical emergency in which women need people in white coats and a college education to save us from ourselves. And B) because medical professionals are literally trained to be scared of birth. They are taught how to manage birth, to make it less “unpredictable” and scary. So even in the hospital, where staff sees it every single day and modern medicine is readily available, everyone is on edge and preparing for the worst. All these comments about how nurses don’t understand the fetal ejection reflex and are frantically yelling at women to “stop pushing!” when she literally can’t help it prove my point. Fear. Fear of birth has been instilled in them. Fear of catching a baby. Fear that they will lose their jobs if they don’t stop a birth from happening before the doctor is present. Fear that something catastrophic is going to happen when they don’t have backup. Etc etc etc. Also, most obstetric staff have never actually seen a true undisturbed, physiologic mother-led birth. They see medicated and/or highly managed births. And in medicated and/or highly managed births, a woman’s physiology is disrupted and altered and the labor & birth process does not and cannot happen in the way it would otherwise. In most cases, interfering with labor the way the obstetric system routinely does nowadays, literally makes birth MORE dangerous.
Birth is literally a physiological bodily function. Yes, things can go wrong. But things can go wrong in all our bodily functions, including digestion, elimination, liver function, etc. Modern medicine is wonderful and life-saving, no doubt. But if we treated birth as the NORMAL biological, physiological function of a woman’s body like it IS, it would be so much less scary.
And btw, there are SO many things we do on a daily basis that could be dangerous and even kill us. Driving, for one. Crossing the street. Swimming. Using sharp knives. We could slip in the shower. We could trip over our kids’ toys on the floor and injure ourselves. We could misstep and fall down the stairs. You get the point. We could choose to have fear over everything. Because EVERYTHING in life carries risk. Or, we could educate ourselves, arm ourselves with knowledge and whatever supports we feel is necessary (in the case of birth, utilize the tools in a hospital, or not) and surrender.

THIS! My son turned 3 on Saturday. He was so stubborn and put me through 37 hours of labor. The hour before I had him I kept feeling pressure and everything else because my epidural failed. The nurse told me to stop pushing because I was only 9cm and had started suggesting a c-section right before that. 🙄 I hadn’t been pushing. Thank goodness he came right after shift change. My MIL got our nurse from the day prior who was the SWEETEST nurse. She practically delivered our son. The hospitalist was in there for maybe 15 seconds before he came.
My second will be 2 in July and the hospitalist barely had time to set up. He was like I know that it’s hard not to but if you can try not to push. He was that close. He coached me through everything and I had no idea my son had been born when he said are you ready to meet your son. That second hospital was a heaven sent. I will never forget the kindness or the hospitalist for the kindness they showed my family. ❤
Omg my epidural started failing like 7 hrs before I had my daughter, I was 34 hrs in labor because I had to be in induced. I had a nurse who was completely arguing me when I was telling her I could feel everything and moving my legs way more than I’m suppose to. Around an hr before I delivered, I felt like the urge to push but one nurse for like the last 3 hrs kept saying I was only 9cm, right after my ob came in my room and told me I was ready and at 10cm.

Oh wow that is horrendous!! When my daughter was birthing her second baby the nurses told her to take a comfort stop to pass faeces, unfortunately whilst this occurred my daughter began to push accidently and the baby was born very suddenly, when the baby took it's first breath it's stomach became full of gas and suddenly exploded in the birthing bed. The beautiful baby was pronounced as severely unwell and spent eight weeks in hospital - all because they told my daughter 'don't push '. The hospital said my daughter taking a comfort break so late in the birth was the reason her precious child suffered from a stomach explosion.

My son was a Premie and it took me 72hrs before my Doctors Daughter Said literally..FB it get her ready... We taking the baby!! I was happy & scared but he's a bouncing healthy 16yr old now!!!
When I had my son many years ago (my second child) the original delivery room nurse I had was inexperienced and I kept telling her the baby was coming and she kept saying "no it's not coming, no it's not coming". I could feel the crowning. I told her I wanted another nurse. Finally an experienced nurse came in and I was so glad to see her I grabbed her hand and I said "my baby is coming". The other nurse said "she keeps saying the baby's coming." The experience nurse asked her "have you ever had a baby?" and the young nurse said no. The experienced nurse told her "well you need to shut up and get out of here". My labor was 2 hours and 45 minutes from the beginning until he was born. I remember that vividly and it has been over 40 years.

i birthed my first two in the hospital, was induced, medicated the whole 9 yards! my 3rd, i was waited until she was ready and boy when they’re ready they’re ready… i only made it 15 min down the rd and we pulled over and i birthed her in the passenger seat of my car on the side of an interstate! ❤ luckily the ambulance got there just in time for me to push one time and she was out! when they pulled up i tried standing- bad idea, that was when i put my hand down there and realized she was already fully crowning. i still can’t believe it happened but it’s amazing what we’re capable of when we just let our bodies do they’re job! i felt so much better after birthing her vs my first two. i was up and ready to go vs being drugged up, weak and exhausted! highly recommend natural births!
haha this almost my same story except we were 30 mins away from the hospital! like you, my 3rd that was born in the car was the most pleasant compared to being medicated with the first 2

I was induced with my 2 boys thanks to being a T1D. It was awful. My first weighted 8lbs 6oz, my 2nd was 6lbs 6oz and those 2lbs make a huge difference.
I was induced with my first and super drugged up and I was happy I did. With my second it was natural and that was great too. I can't knock either option. They're both great, it just depends on the person, their experience, and the pregnancy
But what you experience with your third delivery is not common in the first deliveries. What you experienced usually happens to women who have had a couple of babies already.
This was the best feeling ever for me.. having to giving birth to a human is the most rewarding thing god has ever given us women.. praise the lord. So glad the baby and mama did so well ♥️

@@Itz_GlitchyAsh no, they need to be guided on how to keep the baby alive until they get to the hospital. For example they need to know to double tie the cord so that the blood doesnt go back into the placenta leading to the death of the baby. That happened to a nurse in comment section
@reading1713 gosh I've never heard of that. Look up lotus birth. Some people keep the placenta attached for several hours so all the blood goes into the baby.
Put the baby on her was not calm or cool headed. Not one person noticed the baby was essentially dead? Calm and cool headed would be get clear airway and do cpr and such. Really? No one? How is this a celebration when the baby isn't breathing, isn't crying, isn't moving, and is blue?
@lovegodfirst654 🤣🤣 that's exactly what every baby looks like when it comes out!! It's not blue or dead. It's covered in vernix and has been floating in a bag of fluid for 9 months, so the skin looks blue. This mama did perfect and the baby looks perfectly healthy.

I did like half a small push & there was NO stopping her after that.
I told them I wanted to push & they said I wasnt ready.
I said "ok well you can either stand there or leave but I'm pushing either way"😂

They broke my water at 3am & she was born at 6:06am after that tiny half push. 9lbs 6oz & 22. 5 inches. ❤
So crazy. I didn't have this reflex with my first birth. It took 3hrs of pushing. Second baby this reflex took me by surprise and baby was out in 3 pushes. Such a difference!

It’s possibly because you weren’t given the opportunity to wait for this reflex. First time in labor is generally much longer. It’s probable that you were instructed to push when your body wasn’t ready hence why it took 3 hours to push.

This happened to me but in the hospital. The nurses kept telling me over and over to stop pushing! I finally yelled that I was not pushing.
The only reason they were doing this was because they didn't want me to deliver without the doctor there. The doctor did make it. I literally only pushed once to get her shoulders out.
I was super annoyed by them. Also, the anesthesiologist had to be called in late to give me more. I think he wasn't happy about it and administered it to fast. My whole body seized up, and my legs started shaking uncontrollably. It barely lasted a whole minute, but it was so scary.
This was with my second child.
Why did they feel they needed the Dr? I'm sorry you had such a stressful and frightening experience. Was baby ok?
@TheDramacist Baby was perfect. It was a normal healthy delivery. Honestly, I didn't even need the doctor. It was an easy delivery. I only had an epidural because they told me I couldn't move around, and i had to stay still on the bed and not move. The baby was moving too much, and they couldn't keep the monitor on her. Heart rate was normal tho. I just had to suffer so they could have control. Baby was completely fine.
I think they only wanted the doctor in there to charge insurance. How can you bill for a delivery if the doctor wasn't even there?
They want the doctor there so the doctor can get paid. They only get paid for delivery if they are physically there, even if they walk in and catch the baby and that’s all they do. Tell them to shut up if they tell you to wait for the doctor.
That's what happened to me with my third child because the nurses were changing shifts. The morning nurses didn't want me to deliver because they'd have to stay and didn't want to. The new nurse told me to start pushing and then told me to stop. I asked why. She said because the baby is coming! I told her that's what happens when I push!! The baby comes out. They got the doctor 30 minutes later. 2 pushes, and we were done.
Medicine is so late with women and mental health care. Every other fields are well known about besides when it has to do with women and mental illness
This kind of delivery happened with my daughter (but in the hospital). They were trying to induce and I rolled over to take a nap while I was waiting and my water broke. I felt like I had the worst urge to go to the bathroom in my entire life and headed for the toilet. I figured I had time (my two previous labors with my sons were 16.5 and 8.5 hours). Thought I had to go but couldn't...contractions got INSANE to the point I almost couldn't get back to the bed. 42 minute labor from 2cm to 10 and zero pushing whatsoever. Doctor never showed up and my NURSE delivered me...Pam the RN was the real hero that day. Precipitous labor is NO JOKE. My daughter is now an adult with a baby of her own, and another on the way in the spring.
These comments lets me know how dense the medical workers are. They should know that the body will do what it wants when it wants during childbirth by NOW. -That baby is big and healthy 💕 Congrats to the parents.

What are you even contradicting in what she said? You are simply lecturing without understanding what's going on.
That person was agreeing with others that the mother should be supported in her instincts and not told to fight against her body's natural process to birth her child(ren). Which is what these "medical professionals" routinely do because they are ignorant and/or want things done in their own time, unconcerned with the fact that attempts to stop active labor will cause damage. Just as attempts to force the baby out before labor is active and the ejection reflex is initiated.
I have personally witnessed this and heard NUMEROUS stories that share extremely similar details to what I have seen. In addition to other abuses and neglect that vulnerable birthing mothers are commonly victims of at the hands of "trained medical professionals".

I want this type of birthing...i gave birth in a dream like this, so I hope it will be in reality...30week pregnant first... I gave birth yesterday, and it wasn't bad at all. I labored at home until I was 10 cm dialted, and when I got to the hospital, I gave birth right away... not even 30 minutes. The only problem is my child was born with Down syndrome, and I don't have her with me she staying in the NiCU 😢😢😭

My mother-in-law had one of my sister-in-laws peacefully just sitting on a chair. If she wouldn’t of caught her she would have been on that floor. Then this same sister-in-law had a home birth of twins by herself with the assistance of her 5 year old daughter. Some women are blessed to have a baby 1-2-3 and out…❤

That's exactly what happened to me. My daughter came out all on her own. Thank God we were in the hospital but there were no nurses or doctors in the room. It was my husband who caught her as she came out!! Absolutely love just how calm mom & dad are!! Hope mommy & baby were both ok!!!

A distant cousin of mine gave birth before the paramedics could show up.
She literally woke up at 2am, husband on a work trip, her 3 weeks before scheduled birthday, felt like having a poop broke her water in the bathroom crawled to her phone to call for a ambulance and call her best friend/neighbor to come babysit her other 2 children while she would go to the hospital. Total time 17 minutes. She opened the door for paramedics with the baby in a towel. Some birts are truly magic
My baby was too big for me to handle! Thought I was going to have a natural birth until I couldn’t take it anymore. Knock me out, please I screamed. Hours later mom was in recovery waking me up and she said, the baby is a boy, and I think I may have scared her a little when I responded, what baby? Then it slowly dawned on me that she was telling me that my baby was a boy. Both the concerned and relieved looks were priceless. She was with me all the way through my delivery because my husband had been drafted into the army.
PLEASE make sure the cord gets double tied. When I worked nights as a nurse. A couple traveling I57 delivered their 1st baby on the side of the road. This was before cell phones. The baby was on Moms chest when they arrived at the hospital and the PLACENTAL was in the floor board .THE BABY WAS DEAD DUE TO ALL ITS BLOOD BEING PULLED BACK INTO THE PLACENTA. I will never FORGET MOMS SCREAMS..

My daughter was born like that and it really shocked me that I had no control over my body because I was in the labor room not the delivery room. I was scared and upset about not being in the delivery room and my husband had left to get the nurse, I was by myself and my baby was being born and I had no control over my body. Your body knows what to do by reflexes. Never in my life had I experienced not being in control, that was shocking. Nature is amazing and God thought of everything when He designed us. I was only 19 years old and I didn’t know much. I thought you had to be in the delivery room with the doctor delivering the baby. The truth is a woman could do it by herself. Not a good idea because the baby really needs someone to clear the airway, notice that baby didn’t cry.
I was alone too 😢😢😢 I was hurting too much to find the call button but my body started injecting my baby out and all I could do was scream, the nurse came running and said omg wait let me get the dr, and I yelled too late and my daughter squirted up into my hands 😂 8 pounds 9 oz!
The vast majority of babies do not need their airways cleared. And it is healthy and okay if it takes 30 seconds for baby to take their first breath.

The baby's Airway seldom needs to be cleared. The compression on their chest keeps them from inhaling any fluids. And being in a downward position any fluids that they did manage to get in their mouth would likely drain out. Babies seldom cry immediately. They've just been through an incredible experience and they themselves are in a bit of a shock. Not crying doesn't mean they're not breathing.
The reason you need a doctor in the room is if there's a complication like a cord around the baby's neck, shoulder dystocia, umbilical cord prolapse, etc.

I’ve had five children, my easiest and most natural was my third. I accidentally had her at home by myself. I just made it off the toilet and the birth was simple. I did breathing and it all flowed for me. Turns out when the paramedic came, it was Valentine’s Day and my little girl had a love ❤️ hickie on her hand.
Dad and mom are my heroes. They were on the same team. Cuddles to baby. 😊😊😊

This happened with my 2nd. The nurse was yelling at me to stop pushing, I yelled back, "I'm not fucking pushing, my body is doing it by itself!" 🤣🤣
I had my son in my camper bathroom and 1000% was like this. My water broke and all I had to do was stand up and he was born. Like the instincts and the way you know what to do but don’t at the same time when you have those kinda moments happening is insane. Crazy experience.
See why does it seem women in cars have their baby’s fast and easy but in the hospital all types of crazy ish happens. They did this naturally and effortlessly!
Natural is always faster
Because it was coming dast and easy anyway, that's why they couldn't make it to the hospital first.
Medical staff interfering with the natural birth, fear the medical staff may put on you, pressure, hospitals tend to give off a different vine than a place you find comforting....

It's much easier to give birth sitting up rather than lying down because you have gravity to assist!😂 Standing is even better!
I experienced this too! The best way I could describe it to someone was, you know when you're dry heaving or throwing up and you want to stop but you can't? Your body just continues to do it. That's how it felt for me.
Were you laying down or sitting like this lady? From all ive read it seems like all births should be done not laying down because its so much easier, faster and safer for mommy and baby and now that ive heard of this involutary contractions im curious if it has to do with the position too
@@dianaayt I was sitting up right with my legs up and open. I was leaned as far forward sitting up as I could. I've had 3 pregnancies, each one I gave birth to naturally. I only felt this strong uncontrollably pushing, again only way to describe it is when you're throwing up/dry heaving uncontrollably, with my last child. She's 3 now.
So incredibly beautiful!…….God bless them!……..when the dr. delivered my 2nd baby, 1st son…..I was holding my wife’s hand, and the physician started weeping……it was So touching!
