Hey SLY Gang, we had to reload this one because the audio wasn't normalized properly in the previous upload! Let us know other games to review. Will be uploading more videos again soon!

The audio still needs to be normalized quite a lot.
If you're willing to play something largely unknown, Xanadu Next or Kowloon High-School Chronicle are good picks. Vanquish, one of the stylistic PS4, Xbox One era spectacle shooters is strangely forgotten. There is also some great point and click adventure games that were either made in the 90s, or made any other time while aggressively radiating the 90s.

@@clockhanded I'm doing some studying on how to improve audio in videos, so hopefully future vids will sound better. Thanks for giving it a watch though! And thanks for the suggestions, I will hopefully add some of these to the folder for review!

Loved this game. I remembered coming back and pushing to the upper floors and just quit. SOLID VIDEO!

What was the highest floor you got to, if you remember?

I mean, I am never going to play it again after finishing the original 40 floors and getting the base trophies... but I can't help feeling a little nostalgic for the game.
Like when I found out firework launchers could be used to safely get snails and cook them. Or when a raider underestimated my defenses and left behind the gun I used to beat the Jackals. And as frustrating as it could be, in a perverse way the unfairness made getting to each new area feel all the more rewarding.
As bad as the monetizing is, I feel like Deathverse was even worse even though it was mostly just cosmetics.

Unfortunately (fortunately?) I never played Deathverse, but it looked so bare in terms of content.

@@slystudios0 it felt like they tried to monetize an alpha build. They really shot themselves in the foot offering only one game mode where in all probability players were going to lose most of the time. I enjoyed the setting and the premise, but most players were going to be too frustrated by how much they would have to play to get a single win.

It's a shame the game had to roll out with all those microtransactions and mind numbing grinding. I liked the style, the gameplay was decent enough and I love rogue like elements. This game ticks a lot of check marks for me but I couldn't make it past 20% of the game cause I realized just how many hours I would have to sync to beat the game. I would have much preferred to pay $60 for this game if it had good progression rather than treat it like a day job in its current state. Good video btw!

Thanks a lot for the reply and checking out the vid. Yeah I felt the same way but I probably spent 140+ hours grinding to the top floor of the main story and I still had so much more I needed to do to complete just the main story.
