Love this so much
Thank you so much!!
This is an awesome technique, Patricia! Two quick questions: 1) Do you need to completely cover the second and third layers of glue with films and foils? 2) Why did you choose to apply the UV resin before adding and baking the polymer clay backing layer? (My understanding is that some UV resins can yellow if baked.)
Thanks so much for sharing your technique! ❤️
Thank you so much. Yes completely cover them with the films. You want your last films to be textured and iridescent. I did the backing last so that I only had to sand one time. I wouldn't put a non-resined piece in water not sure how the glue and films would do in that case or how they would hold up in the oven without the uv resin to protect them. I have yet to notice any yellowing of the uv resins I use so far. I hope this helps!
@@PatriciaBearden thanks so much!

Very creative and beautiful!
Thank you!!
Love this tutorial! Thanks
Thank you so much! You're welcome!
Very informative video! Thank you! What foil did you use for first layer? It look like the foil came off the backing when you touched it to the glue Thank you
Thank you so much! If I remember correctly I used nail foils. I don't recall it coming off. I just like to add it for if I miss a spot when adding the other items to it. It's a step you could possibly omit. Hope this helps!
Very pretty, thank you
Thank you so much!
Very pretty
Thank you!
I really enjoyed this tutorial, you gave great step by step without being overly detailed. You did 3 layers, the last layer appeared to be see through film which I get would allow the second layer to be visible, how is the first layer of nail film visable?
Thank you so much! The first layer can be mostly seen around the edges. I like to leave some showing in other areas too, if you notice I didn't put the strips on to tight together. I think without that showing it wouldn't look as good especially on the edges. And yes absolutely you want the last layer you put on to be more translucent, iridescent, and textured. Hope this helps!
Stunning! ❤
Thank you so much!
