There is a mod that makes destruction better maybe not to this level but a bit above gta 4 level destruction. It's not as fun as it sounds cars get disabled going over a curb too fast like irl. If you tap another car it pretty much disables the car or makes it extremely hard to drive.

I love this concept for a game. Even if you cross the finish line in a car that looks like a crushed soda can, and you are no more, you can still win the race! Except the fact that Min/Max'rs would ruin it for everyone! I love these videos, just discovered them today while bored. Cracks me up how real the damage is....you can't keep driving a supercar after it jumps off a 5' drop! 🤣 It's gonna disintegrate! Not to mention industrial scale chain flails and all.
