This plays out like an action movie chase scene. Does it make sense? Absolutely not. Does it seem unnecessary? Of course. Is it fun to watch nonetheless? DEFINITELY Nice job.
For me at least it went too far, the part that really took me out was the ram-plow trucks driving suicidally into the giant crane, unless those were unmanned RC controlled (which I could buy with the resources shown). No person in their right mind would be willing to drive those. Still an 8/10, however some stuff feels like it was thrown in there for the sake of a cool shot with little regard for how much it actually fit into the sequence.
I love how that one car broke into a museum, stole a cannon and somehow got it past the guards, found ammunition for it, strapped it to the top of a car, and engineered a way to fire it remotely.
The change in mood is a choice to make it funny. Yes, there's jaw-dropping violence happening on-screen as a crane arm drops a tanker onto a highway. However, such a terrible thing is short-circuited by peppy, light classical music, which makes it go from merely awesome or powerful to hilarious. The fact the setup is a nod to basically every 80's style action movie ever makes it better.
I really like this alot! Imagine if this was a real movie. At this part 6:33, that Saboteur driver was like: "You're dead!" and then Alpha 1 was like: "Not Today!" then rammed him to death XD
That's impressive, i'm sure this kind of skill you have could be useful for movie directors to prepare stunts and visualise everything. That's Fast and Furious level of action !

I've seen so many copies of Crash Frontier, but this one is the best one. It's not lazy, definitely inspired by Crash Frontier, has dummies for scenes, the best copy and the best context. Keep it up, maybe Crash will collab with ya.

One suggestion i have for future videos is, when vehicles are traveling on the opposite side of the road, have the approaching traffic swerve to make it look like people are trying to avoid getting hit. Kinda like the cars avoiding logs in final destination 2. Cause most civilians would probably not drive directly into a giant crane coming there way. Lol. Also in edition to the cars swerving, adding screeching car tire noises would make great extra detail to sound, along with more louder crashing sounds of metal. The stock beamNG crash sounds I feel aren't as powerful. You could probably find various sounds from movies , RUclips videos & Etc. But never the less great video! I can't wait to see what else you have planned!!
