I saw an interview with David McPhail (also on RUclips) where he said he had a big following from Australia rather than NZ for Gormsby. Because here it was shown on the ABC in prime time (mid noughties) whereas in NZ it was buried late at night. I even bought the DVDs from the ABC Shop! Somehow I don’t think it would make it to air nowadays.
I was living overseas when this came out and I had never heard of it till sargon of arkad mentioned it was his favourite show so I watched it... its hilarious I love it so kiwi so funny and so NOT woke

Also, I had post-prandial hypoglycemia, a medical condition that knocked me unconscious for fifteen minutes during afternoon classes.
