I do wish he would use anarchy mod though... seeing him having to redo a certain layout just because of a minor collision problem (the ped paths above the harbor) makes me think it'll still be vanilla without the limits of the engine.

Something that almost everyone seems to fail at, at least most of the big youtubers who I've seen play this game, is the road and public transport layout of the city. Most traffic is caused by terrible road layouts, which cause all sorts of inefficiencies. You and Target (So sad he's gone), made the best city layouts, with very functional roads using mostly, or entirely vanilla mechanics. They look good, realistic and the traffic flows perfectly.
I've been in a hair tearing stress because I can't make good road systems, I know the video is about an artificial island, but thanks to this, you gave me some useful pointers in making eye catching roadways. thank you so much
That harbor looks absolutely stunning and I love the way you set up your highway and connections, I can never think of how to set my highways and always end up with a spaghetti mess on my city. Well, you certainly had your way with that little island in the bay. This reminded me of watching Godzilla vs Bambi. I follow this series on my own copy of this map and I didn't see this coming. I learn so much watching you build, hope you're enjoying it as much as I am.

I'm quite late (December) to the CS party so this map will only be my second city project. My first city is running stable at 120K with traffic in the mid-eighties so I'm ready for something new to build. Do you have any experience or advice on using animal spawns? I want to try some in a larger than normal nature preserve on this new map.

There is 16 pillar in the water.im a big fan of biffa.his awesome fix broken city is at another level.but your city was very nice.i think when you both join together then will be an epic city build.
Love these segments. But I do wonder what's the background music you are using. Somehow the music is so good that it perfectly aligns with the building. The perfect music to listen while building a city.
Ironically to something I said on your Metro hub video, you've just sort of built the other end of the Staten Island Ferry, the neighborhood of St. George. Ferries, buses, Trains... and a baseball stadium next door.
Or maybe 18 because when you count both streets and both streets are going two times over the water( First time 4 pillars and after the nice island the second time with 14 pillars)

Thanks for your support😋 I don‘t use mods for this, when there is a problem with traffic i try to fix it with public transit or changing the intersections :)

There are 7 pillars of the bridge in the water but multiply it by 2 because there’s the counter flow one so it’s 14, and pretty nice work! Keep it up!

The metro line will be extended to the central station there will be a huge transport hub with ferries, buses trams and metros
