The Bikeriders captures a rebellious time in America when the culture and people were changing. After a chance encounter at a local bar, strong-willed Kathy (Jodie Comer) is inextricably drawn to Benny (Austin Butler), the newest member of Midwestern motorcycle club, the Vandals led by the enigmatic Johnny (Tom Hardy). Much like the country around it, the club begins to evolve, transforming from a gathering place for local outsiders into a dangerous underworld of violence, forcing Benny to choose between Kathy and his loyalty to the club.

Well, some are just nomadic souls and, if they haven't saved enough, actually do the odd bit of honest labour here and there to pay for the petrol.
The Outlaw gangs tho', which is clearly the inspiration for this movie ... not so nice sad to say.
Rockers and back patches used to be the sign of who to watch out for - no idea what it is these days as the whole motorcycling 'scene' has faded away.
Mind you, it has to be said, if you wanted a good night out at a rock club and to have trouble kept to a minimum, it never hurt to have some of those guys around. There were always some truly bad apples spoiling for a fight to prove themselves but, mostly, stay out of their way and they'd leave you alone *and* keep the peace.
