Thanks for this really helpful Video, I can't tell you how thankful I am that you share your knowledge, you are fantastic. Thank you so much. Greetings from Germany and stay safe.
Any tips for placing elements along the focal plane when you shoot? Your focus is always spot on, draws me right to key highlights of the photo. draws you in to the color and different objects
This is beautiful! I can't wait to improve my selective colour game, thank you so much! Ps where did you get the little selective colour arrow pop up? ☺️
how do you use selective color layer to correct out of gamut colors before sending image to outside print lab thank you for all your help, love the saturated colors.
So informative and excited to add this to my editing skills. How does this compare to color adjustment in LR thru Split Toning, Tone Curve, and color selections thru masks (circle, gradient, and brush tool). I do work in both and trying to decide how this will influence my workflow.
Fabulous tutorial! a question Eli, if I wanted to get the same selective colour edit on multiple images as a part of a series, is there a way to batch edit after doing the first as a master?
you said in the one of your video that color grade on the basis of what feeling you should provide to viewers so how would we get know thatwhich color grade has which emotions. Plz make a video on that or you have any article plz share to us.
How much work do you do in CaptureOne? Is it good enough for some colour selection and use photoshop only for the last bits, or is it better in your experience to just go straight to photoshop?
I would say 50% of my edit is done in Capture One. The main things I do in Photoshop is skin retouching and final color output. If you look at my RUclips Channel I have full edit videos of my process. :)
@@EliInfante one more question. Because i have to stay at home, i think its the best time to learn how to deal with light. Could you prepare video about light for beginners ? :)

Good question! You have much more control with Selective Color. Keep in mind Split Toning and Tone Curve are amazing and should be used as well.
