      Yes. There's a 3 year warranty on the trolling motor and lifetime warranty on the shaft. Luckily, I was still within the 3 years.

    Do not touch or hold the fish by the Operculum (2 daim ntxaij), They were so sharp and could cut your hand. Also, white bass had those sticky gels on their bodies if touch or hold them it will get itchy or sensitive (khaus kaus) your hand for a long time. Peb Hmoob nyiam nyob sib ze at, but one must put on eyeglass or sunglass to protect vim sawv daws nyob sib ze tsam ho muaj jigs accident li cas. Good luck to all fisherman.

    • @VDXOutdoors
      @VDXOutdoors  2 года назад

      Good luck @sen outside! Key is to find some current. They are on the eddies of the current. Depending on the water clarity, use pink or white jigs in muddy water. Clear water, use anything! Lol

    New sub here. Awesome stuff! So what’s the best month for White Bass and rig setup? TIA

    • @VDXOutdoors
      @VDXOutdoors  2 года назад +1

      Sorry I didn't reply sooner. Hopefully it's not too late. Best months to fish is their spawning time which is Mid May to early June. Although I've heard that in the fall (Aug-Sept) is also another good time to catch them.
      For set up, we were using a pink jig head with live minnow or plastic minnow (17:30). We also used pink fly with minnow. The Mimic minnow works too (Neon Green color like in the video at 5:25.) We were using pink because the water was very murky so pink was more visible to the fish. Hope this helps.

    Why take boat if you going to fish shallow.? Never bring expensive stuff at Devil's Lake.

    • @VDXOutdoors
      @VDXOutdoors  2 года назад +1

      The fishes were at the shallow with currents. The spot we fished, you cannot get to from shore by walking or in waders. With the boat, you don't have to fight for fishing spots with shore fishermen.

    • @VDXOutdoors

      We went to Sixmile Bay at Hwy 2. That was the hot spot that weekend. It's easy to find on Google. Good luck!

      The water is murky there. Use a colorful jig...pink or white on a minnow. Cast into the current or Eddy.

      Kuv tsis khav as. Koj tau taub tsis yog lawm os kwv tij. My friend mentioned MN people meaning our friends from MN don't use flies. We did take the boat, but we don't go fight with shore fishermen for the same spot. We fished a spot that shore fishermen can't get to. We were afraid to get in the way of shire fishermen so that's why we stayed away from them.
