Dehya’s a really good character she just needs to work on her damage, her support capability, her pyro application, her skill aoe, her skill proc time, her burst length, her energy requirements, her energy generation, and her normal attack knock back ❤️

Her elemental skill pairs perfectly with Heizou who is relatively fragile add Rosaria's Burst compliments Dehya's Skill and Rosaria's Skill solve's Heizou tendency to knock back small enemies. Add in a healer to reset health and you have a good team. + Rosaria buff's Crit Rate and C1 Dehya buff's her attack. Dehya's Burst is realy good at breaking geo shields quickly and Heizou is constantly swirling her pyro. Also Rosaria's and Dehya's passive buff are complimentary..
18:38 It actually can't be used for big nukes. The reason why Thoma's 1-second Pyro interval is valuable for burgeon is due to how it consistently procs burgeon on seeds over time. If you were to collect a bunch of seeds on the field, it would start exploding before Dehya's Pyro application went off on them after hitting the cap of 5, which is not burgeon damage. And most importantly, seeds that explode within a split-second of each other will cancel out damage after 2. This is why Dehya can't "nuke" in burgeon, since her slow Pyro will collect many seeds on the ground, but then her skill will only activate 2 burgeons, yet exploding all of them. If the nuking was possible, then there would be many better Pyro character options for burgeon, and Thoma would honestly still be better due to how his shielding is more reliable than Dehya's entire bodyguarding mechanic.
If you do keep in mind how big the energy requirements are for Dehya, even at 150 in mono pyro you will need a bit more to not sit 10 sec waiting for dehya energy to get full. In vap teams the requirement is 190% ER or more.

Her going to standard banner might seem like a positive but it will more likely be a curse for many who want her, i played for over 2 years and just got my first jean so there is no guarantee that you will get even one dehya in the future, just like the guy next to you might get her c6 in two months.
You right. I've not seen a Jean nor a Mona. Having Dehya on standard banner is just a tiny consolation prize of losing a 50/50. Ironically, I lost 50/50 on Dehya pulls to Keqing.
I completely agree. I've been playing since day one and I have C6 Jean but no Keqing, only got Diluc on Wanderer's banner, only have Tighnari cuz I pulled on his banner. I just got Qiqi pulling for C2 on my Yelan. Which wasn't a bad way to get Qiqi since I got her in the same 10 pull as Yelan but after her so now I've got a guarantee!

I've been having pretty good use of her in a Burgeon team with Traveler, Kazuha and Kokomi. I cleared triple Maguu Kenki with them pretty easily without ever worrying about health because Dehya's interruption resist and damage reduction paired with Kokomi made her basically immortal. I just deploy jellyfish, swirl Hydro with Kazuha Burst, Traveler combo, Dehya skill. It's easy to pop cores with just the cast and recast of her skill without relying on the coordinated attack though that will also do its thing on its own. Then I just rotate back to Kokomi to extend jellyfish, Kazuha, Dehya Burst. It's more about rotation and skill timing than anything. I'm planning to put her with Yoimiya, Xingqiu and Kuki for a fireworks squad. Dehya does quite well in Overload and my EM Kuki will still do decent damage while sustaining. It's just that meta-heads don't give a shit about Overload. My heart says Yelan over Xingqiu but he actually likes the double pyro attack buff so oh well.
you can actually get away with not having her C2 if you account for all the animation time she goes through. She picks her field up twice while the CD is still ticking. Once when she ults and once when she E's again. By the end of her rotation, her field will go down and be up again in 1.5-2 seconds depending on how you play it. Needless to say, if you DO get c2 then its 100% uptime

@@kodyVSwilly It doesn't. I routinely have my E back up to use again before it is gone from the ground. However, it is worth noting that her C2 doesn't boost her elemental skill's duration. It buffs the duration of the re-applied elemental skill. Which means if you don't do something that relocates it (2nd E press, burst), your E only lasts the standard 12s. And I think her skill has some problems related to using a freshly refreshed E awhile the old E is still on the ground. That using the refreshed skill while the old one is still on the ground means you can't use E to move what should be a new instance of the skill. Need to test that, but I am pretty sure there's something happening in that situation.
The last zajef clip, u cut the part that in burgeon only 2 cores will do dmg at a time so even if u pile them up it doesn't matter, only 2 of the cores will do dmg

@@Valravne728 Well not if you use her whole kit ... her burgeon is way more on field using her first cast and recast along with her procs and burst not just put e and do nothing else. 36 staring with her as the main dmg from procing burgeons on the second half was not hard. team of dehya/nahida/kokomi/kazuha. you could use sucrose a 100% but i just defaulted to kazuha xD also if we had a off field AOE based hydro 4 star that could be used aswell but we don't (fingers crossed fontaine gives us one cause we need it)
I love how people act like going on the Standard Banner makes a character super easy to get... Meanwhile after 2 years I still don't have a single copy of Mona and literally just got Qiqi for the first time despite having a C4 Diluc as well as multiple constellations for Jean and Keqing. Going on the Standard has zero upsides and is purely Hoyo's way of sweeping a chatracter they didn't bother to design properly under the rug.
There will be more Standard banner characters incoming too. Also, placing her on Standard just makes it harder for players to get the more useful 5*s there, like Keqing/Tighnari.
C2 Dehya and Charlotte is a great combo. The interrupt resistance allows Charlotte to land a full charged skill every time. Then 12 seconds of AOE melt. Charlotte can heal the team up. Repeat. Two other characters can be anything.

I love Deyha, but if I could change her kit in any way, Remove split scaling and increase the numbers by 150% or more. Rework her skill and make it more in line with Albedo's. Easy to maintain 100% uptime with increased duration, and remove the 2.5 second intervals. Make it coordinated attacks and apply pyro on each hit. But that's just my two cents. not like they'll listen to a word we all say... :(
She just provides the additional fun factor. I use the Nagamasa(Inazuma craft Claymore) thinking her skill duration should proc it twice. The team would be Nahida, Yae Miko, and Yaoyao. While she does not make damage, the continuous burning and occasional overload does stagger enemies.
@@remixtheidiot5771 Her A2 passive makes her immortal with the Bell, max lvl and full hp artifacts. Se keeps fully healing any damage taken, and clam set deals damage for ANY healing (includes self healing).

I love this character, i put her at lvl 90 with talent 9,9,9. But, honestly I think her artifacts are still not in the game yet. Maybe in future updates.
Is burgeon dehya better now with the flowers of lost paradise set? I just pulled her with free wishes off standard. Actually really like her. Been using her in a weird yae, baizhu xingxu/yelan overload/burgeon/hyperbloom/electro-charge team. Thinking ayato would make it a fun afk team?
God her kit would be fun and interesting if it didn't have so many caveats. It's like every other word in her ability descriptions have an asterisk behind it. Use her skill to create a fiery sanctum* that deals AoE Pyro damage** while mitigating damage taken.*** *Recasting the ability will MOVE the current fiery sanctum, not create a new one. **Only deals Pyro damage once every 2.5 seconds. Mitigated damage is actually dealt as a DoT to Deyha.* ****If the DoT becomes too much the skill will stop mitigating damage entirely. Some people are saying she should be a 4* or get increased multipliers, but neither of those address the issue that her kit is straight up poorly designed in it's current state and has basically no synergy with itself.

Immortal Dehya😎😁 since I have 4 standard including her I just made a team standard like: "Team Standard" Dehya - Mai DPS/Support Kaqing - Main DPS/Sub Mona - Sub DPS Qiqi - Healer "Team Pillars" Hu Tao Nahida Zhongli Kazuha I gave artifact that I abandoned but the 4 sets that I gave to her not perfect but still good for her 'cause it has CR, CD, EM, HP, and weapon for NA the only that I will change to her is her cup for extra bonus damage😁😁
I just got her. I was sad to see that people say she's bad. Then I remembered that I'm maining Amber and Qiqi while a lvl 20 Nahida is just sitting in my roster ever since I've got her on her last banner. Why? Cuz my Collei is doing a great dendro job so far, so I haven't had the need to max Nahida. I've got a sneaky feeling imma start rocking Dehya as well. I've got a thing for "garbage" characters. I like Dehya for Dehya. I decided to support the game and went all in for C6 Dehya. I want to use her a hybrid tank/sub DPS with Yoimiya as my main dps. What artifacts and Sands stat do I want for a hybrid build like this?
ive been saving up for c6 Dehya for almost a year and when I heard all the disappointing news about her, including the standard banner news, I decided to use it to c6 Yelan. Now that Dehya is out and I got her to c1 im regretting my decision to c6 Yelan over Dehya. Ive been 36* the abyss for almost 2 years now so the c6 Yelan damage wasn't needed but Dehya at c6 becomes pretty good and id rather have had that because she's more fun to play for me than Yelan.
Damn, feelsgood to have R4 Akuoumaru. Shame Spine isn't really viable esp since I have it R5... I do hope I can get spooked by WGS someday and Dehya herself... I was really excited and ready to roll for her but since she's non limited and Shenhe is so close, idk whether to push for it esp when I'm on 50/50. I don't want to miss Shenhe again...
That standard banner is available statement can set you back for years. I had my first Jean pull after 2 years. What makes you think you will get ANY Dehya from standard or from losing 50-50 in the next 2-3 years? It's more hopium than the new arti sets
I feel like she could be used how people use hutao-ayaka for like a super melt team... although she obviously isn't as good as hutao she could be used... Dehya-ayaka-bennet-kaeya/rosaria/diona either of those three cryo characters could work depending on the scenario they're placed in
I've been using her with a c6 kaeya, bennet and rosaria team and she's a pretty comfortable pyro driver for their cryo bursts to react consistent melts with! Kinda similar to Kokomi! For a vape team I use nilou and mona along with a rainslasher and I think it works fine, managed to have a comfy abyss run!
I got this girl on my 3rd account and I plan to build her with 4 emblem set as soon as I finish building my Yoimiya and Raiden there. And Idk if anyone has mention this but I find out one weapon that can make her a bit bearable to use. Sacrificial Greatsword. Yeah, its passive WORKS on Dehya.

Yknow there are already some bad kits that haven't been reworked so... really I doubt they'd change dehya. I think they changed yae after she came out, but then reversed the change and dropped it.
This is how to build dehya Farm lava walker mono pyro with xianglin bennet and kazuha cope a bit cuz you spend all your primos on her put the artifacts you farmed on Diluq
See the 999th problem with Dehya they found?? Her Sig Weapon, Bacon, Does NOT apply its Damage bonus to her full ult if you have C6. The Final kick at least will not get the bonus dmg from the weapon passive. I cant believe this is a real character lol
I run an ER sands to give her 200 ER and I still dont have it up as often as id like in some situations. With 4pc emblem the damage loss from attack sands to er sands isn't wide enough for me to use an attack sands until I get her to c4+.
i am so sad that she doesn't work with some of the best supports. i hate the kazuha mona playstyle, and dehya in the mono pyro team just feels useless because she's being carried.. idk what team to run her with cause i don't like anyyy of the dps ones ☹️
If you like her, if course! Genshin isn't a difficult game and it is important to play with the characters that you enjoy. If you care a lot about meta and abyss then I would think about it a bit, especially since in the next phase ayaka is coming who is considered a very good character on meta aspect, and if you already have her, shenhe is coming with her who is quite a good support for her. But this is just my opinion, in the end you should do what you want
if you love her character then pull whoever you want, but like the person above said she wont add value to your account and her flaws outweigh the good when it comes to her kit. of course you can make her work, but itll take a lot of work. so its really up to you and what you want. if you love her as a character and dont really care about meta then go for it, but if youre looking to upgrade your account with stronger characters id recommend to skip ^_^
Unless you really really like her, do not pull for her. Shes by far the worst 5 star ever released and arguably worse than all of the 4 stars out there.
I'm feeling like she's leaning into a pyro driver for elemental reactions instead with her pyro applicatIon on her burst. Reinforcing the reason with why she's to be built as a tank with hp. Kinda like kokomi! I've been using her with a Kaeya and Rosaria comp and it's a pretty comfy team with not much healing needed because of Dehya's enough passive healing! Throw in a Benny or a Layla and it's fun.
Will event exclusive weapons ever be available again in the future? At this point I very highly doubt it. Imagine how long ago Festering Desire was released and since then, there was not a single chance to get it again.
Just an FYI-dedicated sets are never a very big total DPS increase. Usually a few percent. That’s why more generic sets can be more resin efficient and still achieve about the same results since more characters can benefit from them.
the fact that i 36* her in the abyss with the same melt comp before this vid came out. she's a good character, she's not comparable to any dps cause she isn't them the play style is entirely diffferent. I like her and it felt satisfying to wombo combo enemies to cinders.
I crowned her. I may be insane but hear me out. I can already easily clear any other content in the game easily so why not? Besides I have like 15 crowns left anyway.
Dehya does too much and too little at the same time: 1) she ‘replaces’ a shielder but potentially sacrifices her already meager damage to do so. 2) Her main source of actual damage (her Burst) only last 4 seconds, but costs 70 energy. Even 55 energy (w/ c4) is too high imo. 3) The fact that her burst is so costly, contributes the majority of her damage, yet is broken simply by freeze, knockbacks and JUMPING?? Like come on. If Mihoyo wants to highlight her slight dash mechanic during her burst, then disable the dash button or something. I don’t think it’s asking too much to make her completely immune to freeze and knockback during her 4 SECOND burst. Since she’s literally covered in flames it seems plausible from a story perspective as well, if that even matters atp lol. I would’ve hoped Mihoyo would’ve learned after the whole Yae Miko fiasco but yet here we are….

its good for burgeon since its a longer duration not so much for burst dehya
Iirc her burst also halts her E's cd, so it would never have 100% cd even at C2

That’s a general Bloom seed damage limit, not just Burgeon.

Bergon dehya in a team with ayato/kokomi and nahida is extraordinarily fun. Especially with the new event claymore
But she has like 8 secs downtime. Whereas thoma who's much easier to build has little down time and procs burgeons more reliably

I love Deyha, but if I could change her kit in any way, Remove split scaling and increase the numbers by 150% or more. Rework her skill and make it more in line with Albedo's. Easy to maintain 100% uptime with increased duration, and remove the 2.5 second intervals. Make it coordinated attacks and apply pyro on each hit.
But that's just my two cents. not like they'll listen to a word we all say... :(

I use the Nagamasa(Inazuma craft Claymore) thinking her skill duration should proc it twice.
The team would be Nahida, Yae Miko, and Yaoyao. While she does not make damage, the continuous burning and occasional overload does stagger enemies.

@@remixtheidiot5771 Her A2 passive makes her immortal with the Bell, max lvl and full hp artifacts. Se keeps fully healing any damage taken, and clam set deals damage for ANY healing (includes self healing).

Is burgeon dehya better now with the flowers of lost paradise set? I just pulled her with free wishes off standard. Actually really like her. Been using her in a weird yae, baizhu xingxu/yelan overload/burgeon/hyperbloom/electro-charge team. Thinking ayato would make it a fun afk team?

God her kit would be fun and interesting if it didn't have so many caveats. It's like every other word in her ability descriptions have an asterisk behind it.
Use her skill to create a fiery sanctum* that deals AoE Pyro damage** while mitigating damage taken.***
*Recasting the ability will MOVE the current fiery sanctum, not create a new one.
**Only deals Pyro damage once every 2.5 seconds.
Mitigated damage is actually dealt as a DoT to Deyha.*

Some people are saying she should be a 4* or get increased multipliers, but neither of those address the issue that her kit is straight up poorly designed in it's current state and has basically no synergy with itself.

I gave artifact that I abandoned but the 4 sets that I gave to her not perfect but still good for her 'cause it has CR, CD, EM, HP, and weapon for NA the only that I will change to her is her cup for extra bonus damage😁😁
I just got her. I was sad to see that people say she's bad. Then I remembered that I'm maining Amber and Qiqi while a lvl 20 Nahida is just sitting in my roster ever since I've got her on her last banner. Why? Cuz my Collei is doing a great dendro job so far, so I haven't had the need to max Nahida. I've got a sneaky feeling imma start rocking Dehya as well. I've got a thing for "garbage" characters. Every idiot knows how to play OP characters. The fun starts when you're trying to make the weak ones work.

I decided to support the game and went all in for C6 Dehya.
I want to use her a hybrid tank/sub DPS with Yoimiya as my main dps.
What artifacts and Sands stat do I want for a hybrid build like this?
ive been saving up for c6 Dehya for almost a year and when I heard all the disappointing news about her, including the standard banner news, I decided to use it to c6 Yelan. Now that Dehya is out and I got her to c1 im regretting my decision to c6 Yelan over Dehya.
Ive been 36* the abyss for almost 2 years now so the c6 Yelan damage wasn't needed but Dehya at c6 becomes pretty good and id rather have had that because she's more fun to play for me than Yelan.
Damn, feelsgood to have R4 Akuoumaru. Shame Spine isn't really viable esp since I have it R5... I do hope I can get spooked by WGS someday and Dehya herself... I was really excited and ready to roll for her but since she's non limited and Shenhe is so close, idk whether to push for it esp when I'm on 50/50. I don't want to miss Shenhe again...
That standard banner is available statement can set you back for years. I had my first Jean pull after 2 years. What makes you think you will get ANY Dehya from standard or from losing 50-50 in the next 2-3 years? It's more hopium than the new arti sets

I feel like she could be used how people use hutao-ayaka for like a super melt team... although she obviously isn't as good as hutao she could be used... Dehya-ayaka-bennet-kaeya/rosaria/diona either of those three cryo characters could work depending on the scenario they're placed in

I've been using her with a c6 kaeya, bennet and rosaria team and she's a pretty comfortable pyro driver for their cryo bursts to react consistent melts with! Kinda similar to Kokomi! For a vape team I use nilou and mona along with a rainslasher and I think it works fine, managed to have a comfy abyss run!
Dehya Chongyun Kazuha Bennett is another good melt team. Quad melts.

I got this girl on my 3rd account and I plan to build her with 4 emblem set as soon as I finish building my Yoimiya and Raiden there. And Idk if anyone has mention this but I find out one weapon that can make her a bit bearable to use. Sacrificial Greatsword. Yeah, its passive WORKS on Dehya.
It doesn't work for team IR, that is directly tied to her AP talent and can't be circumvented.

Why not include Skyward Pride? It give extra 8% dmg to all dmg source and ER for her burst so why not inclide to the weapon?

See the 999th problem with Dehya they found?? Her Sig Weapon, Bacon, Does NOT apply its Damage bonus to her full ult if you have C6. The Final kick at least will not get the bonus dmg from the weapon passive. I cant believe this is a real character lol

I run an ER sands to give her 200 ER and I still dont have it up as often as id like in some situations. With 4pc emblem the damage loss from attack sands to er sands isn't wide enough for me to use an attack sands until I get her to c4+.
She's not great and really deserves some buffs, but man she's satisfying to play.

If you like her, if course! Genshin isn't a difficult game and it is important to play with the characters that you enjoy.
If you care a lot about meta and abyss then I would think about it a bit, especially since in the next phase ayaka is coming who is considered a very good character on meta aspect, and if you already have her, shenhe is coming with her who is quite a good support for her.
But this is just my opinion, in the end you should do what you want
if you love her character then pull whoever you want, but like the person above said she wont add value to your account and her flaws outweigh the good when it comes to her kit. of course you can make her work, but itll take a lot of work. so its really up to you and what you want. if you love her as a character and dont really care about meta then go for it, but if youre looking to upgrade your account with stronger characters id recommend to skip ^_^
if ure not that desperate, u can just wait till shes added to standard banner and hope to eventually get her
Unless you really really like her, do not pull for her. Shes by far the worst 5 star ever released and arguably worse than all of the 4 stars out there.

I'm feeling like she's leaning into a pyro driver for elemental reactions instead with her pyro applicatIon on her burst. Reinforcing the reason with why she's to be built as a tank with hp. Kinda like kokomi! I've been using her with a Kaeya and Rosaria comp and it's a pretty comfy team with not much healing needed because of Dehya's enough passive healing! Throw in a Benny or a Layla and it's fun.

I am using Kazuha Dehya Raiden and Bennet she is do 30k dmg only 1 fist. I think if her new artifact set come she is became much stronger
Just an FYI-dedicated sets are never a very big total DPS increase. Usually a few percent. That’s why more generic sets can be more resin efficient and still achieve about the same results since more characters can benefit from them.

the fact that i 36* her in the abyss with the same melt comp before this vid came out. she's a good character, she's not comparable to any dps cause she isn't them the play style is entirely diffferent. I like her and it felt satisfying to wombo combo enemies to cinders.

I crowned her. I may be insane but hear me out. I can already easily clear any other content in the game easily so why not? Besides I have like 15 crowns left anyway.
Dehya does too much and too little at the same time: 1) she ‘replaces’ a shielder but potentially sacrifices her already meager damage to do so. 2) Her main source of actual damage (her Burst) only last 4 seconds, but costs 70 energy. Even 55 energy (w/ c4) is too high imo. 3) The fact that her burst is so costly, contributes the majority of her damage, yet is broken simply by freeze, knockbacks and JUMPING?? Like come on. If Mihoyo wants to highlight her slight dash mechanic during her burst, then disable the dash button or something. I don’t think it’s asking too much to make her completely immune to freeze and knockback during her 4 SECOND burst. Since she’s literally covered in flames it seems plausible from a story perspective as well, if that even matters atp lol. I would’ve hoped Mihoyo would’ve learned after the whole Yae Miko fiasco but yet here we are….
