- For our final adventure in Yosemite, we hiked the most famous & most traveled hike in the park, the Mist trail, featuring Vernal Falls (317') and Nevada Falls (594'). It wasn't easy deciding what to do for our final hike in the park, but this hike embodies pretty much all that Yosemite is known for: scenic views, epic waterfalls, and massive rock walls.

Great video. Thank you. We just did the Mist Trail to Vernal Falls yesterday (6/10/23). Definitely we need to come back down the John Muir loop next time. Our hips, knees and ankles are definitely sore. What a beautiful hike it was, Vernal Fall was definitely putting on quite the show. Thanks for the video.
It's an amazing hike, I've been itching to go back! I was there in early July for this video, so the falls weren't nearly as full as they would be now, I bet it was amazing!

Right there with ya, Yosemite has long been on my bucket list. But it's kinds of like potato chips, you can't eat just one. I want to go again!

Beautiful hike!! We went to Yosemite last year but didn't have time to hike this trail. Love the views of the rocks, waterfalls and the woods. The editing is also very well done. Really enjoyed it.

Oh yeah, that bluffage made us feel really small! I guess, the whole trip made us realize just how small we are, and how little we've seen of the world.

What a fabulous hike! My daughter hiked the JMT years ago and ended up taking a wrong turn at the very beginning and went a mile or so up the Mist trail before she realized it. She said she didn't regret it one bit. Now I see why! I'll have to ask her if she turned around or kept going and found the right trail. I agree with Catfish, those squirrels are too cute to ignore!
I am jealous of your daughter, if there's one long distance trail I'd love to thru-hike, it's the JMT. We do love wildlife, big and small! Thanks for watching.
It was a really great adventure for her. It was her 'shakedown' hike before she took on the AT. I am jealous of her too. LOL
How did you manage to be there when nobody else was there? Very lucky.
We started early, and once we got close to Vernal Falls, the few people that were on the trail greatly thinned out. And of course, I chose my shots in some places to avoid people. It was far more crowded later in the day!
