    In maths, the area of "googology" studies MUCH LARGER numbers that are still tiny next to infinity.
    Look for stuff like "fast-growing hierarchy", and numbers like: "tree 3", "Graham's number", "busy beavers", "Rayo's number", "Extremexul", etc.

      @@pajanightbadger1713 yeah that's true. These are all absurdly and disgustingly large, but in the end infinity is larger. The problem is that infinity is just a concept... Both the uncountable and countable infinities are entities which are conceptual

    Fun fact:
    Graham's number has so many digits that even (10^(10^(10^....))) Googolplex times is smaller than G(3)
    To put that in perspective, if you try to write the power tower of Graham's number (3^3^3^....) it will take more than the number of plank volumes in the entire universe. That's so big that the human mind cannot understand how big that is.

      what about grahams number factorial lol

    • @jenswurm
      @jenswurm Год назад

      There is also e.g. TREE(n).
      Even TREE(3) makes graham's number look like it's zero, and you can use any value for n.

      @@janes_dick5843 n! < n^n,
      So its power tower should be less than twice that of G(3)

    You're missing out on a huge host of numbers such as Googolplexian,Graham's Number,Tree(3),SSCG(13),Loader's Number,Rayo's Number,BIG FOOT,Fish Number,etc which are unimaginably massive & Gargantuan in their own right,before proceeding to Infinity!!

      apparently grahams number is so big that if it was the normal size of text on a computer it'd need the entire universe's diameter to fit
