Porto Katsiki's name can be translated in English as "Port of the goat". It is said that only goats could reach this beach in the past. Now, thanks to the infrastructure Lefkada's Municipality put in place, we can all visit the beach by car or by a boat trip.

Update: it seems there are no sunbeds and umbrellas on Porto Katsiki this year. Bring umbrellas or go early in the morning, as there is natural shade until 1 PM. There is food and drinks delivery on the beach. Enjoy your Lefkada holiday people!

Didn't notice Umbrellas and chairs for lease so far on any video of 2021. Very important detail to clarify, so as to plan. Any info would be appreciated :).Headed to Lefkada in late July and know Porto Katsiki w/o umbrella/shade after 12 = Slow roasting :) Shadow from mountain goes away in the afternoon.
NO umbrellas and sunbeds this year unfortunately... Go far left and you have shade till about 12 or 1 PM.

@@SayafK Unfortunately I can't give you first hand info as haven't managed to get there by now this year. Egremni probably not. Milos, possibly yes. But it's just a guess.

@@SayafK Anyhow, for Lefkada is best to carry a sort of sunbed and umbrella with you. And if course an icebox. This way you can go wherever you want and create all the comfort doe you. Check our my other channel called Hello From Paradise 😉 Enjoy you trip and have fun!

2019 I was in Lefkada, I was supposed to leave in 2020. Covid prevented and only 50% of tourists were said to be this year? it will only be 10% CovidPass
@@filmodelfilmodel6753 Yes it's been much less tourists in 2020. Probably a little bit more this year. But who knows?? News change all the time....
@@lefkadalastminute730 It will be even worse this year. Until Season 2022 will be 150% So far, few EUROPE have been vaccinated. Good luck
