    Really glad I found your channel. I did my fist oxidation removal today. It had pre existing oxidation, blue home. I did a SH soft wash and it most certainly left awful streaking marks lol. I told the homeowner I’d be back in the morning to fix it.
    It was certainly a long day for me, it had a 3rd story peak. The streaks were at the bottom. But you can’t just do half 🤷‍♂️
    I used cleansol bc. The directions recommend diluting 1-4 for oxidation I believe. Then for normal cleaning they recommend you downstream that solution 10-1 for bad homes 20-1 for routine cleaning.
    What I did, was dilute it 50/50 then down-streamed it 10-1. It worked out well, I used the flow pro. Worked in 10’ sections with about 2-5 min dwell. I could use the white tip to hit 2 or 3 pieces of siding at a time. Then I have a Davis shooter tip and an x jet to hit the peaks. It was tedious.

      Oh, I totally understand the struggle! Haha, it seems like you've taken on quite a demanding project that turned out to be even more challenging than expected. I've been in similar situations before, and it seems like we always come across these hurdles, right? Just remember to charge accordingly, so your time and effort are truly worth it. It's better to turn away jobs and focus on the ones that appreciate your expertise and are willing to pay more. Keep up the good work because you're gaining valuable experience every day!

    If a customer decides to not use your RESTORE solution, how would they go about preventing oxidation? A soft wash with bleach once a year wouldn't do it. I'm thinking that every so often a brush and detergent will be needed, at least on vinyl?

    • @mountainviewsoftwash9135
      @mountainviewsoftwash9135  Год назад +1

      That would be my recommendation as well. Annual washing would significantly increase the longevity of the siding, whereas RESTORE will help prevent oxidation throughout the year.
