I started buying everything with molle webbing when I became a otr truck driver, judt for ease of storing all my various accoutrements. Never thought about packing tobacciana, mostly because I don't like smoking when I'm on the road. I feel like leather is the way to go though.

New to pipe smoking. How long should you age your tobacco before smoking it?
So nothing to do with the video, I was on my way to Vicksburg and going through Jackson of course I went and found the Country Squire and asked for the Pipe Cottage blend and was shocked and dismayed to hear they don’t have it and it’s been discontinued, did I miss something?
This format is a nice little refreshment. I'm still a newbie pipe smoker despite starting months ago. I'm just now venturing out. Sounds like I need to go visit Schwab's. There aren't any good pipe shops particularly near me (all the smoke shops in Frankfort are full of bongs and things geared towards the kinds of people who would use a bong), so I've been needing some names of places not too far away. Your mentioning of Schwab's is enough of an endorsement for me.
It's a nice shop. Decent pipe and tobacco collection.
You'll be in Ohio and close to Michigan, Detroit, and the surrounding cities have some beautiful Catholic churches. Some are well over 100 years old. Some were built in the late 1800s.
Sir, would you consider expounding on the value, effects of, average length of time required to achieve the title "Aged"?

I have read seedtime on the Cumberland by Arnow also Flowering of the Cumberland. I would also recommend Border Life by Elizabeth A. Perkins and The Carolina Backcountry on the eve of the Revolution by Richard J. Hooker. Have a safe trip.

My speciality and area of study is the American revolution in the Western campaigns of George Rogers Clark and the smaller skirmishes with the British and native tribes of the region. That being western Virginia such as Kentucky west verginia Tennessee and Pennsylvania. Very nice best regards. Ron

How long is tobacco good for after opening a tin? Is it different with non-aromatics vs aromatics? Should a put it in a jar immediately after opening?

I know you’re thought on a filter in your pipes but what about a screen in the bottom of the pipe bowl?

How long does pipe tobacco last in a mason jar (aromatic and non aromatic)? Of course out of sunlight and in about room temperature.
Many years. I've had jarred tobacco that is at least 25 years old and it was perfect.
Does it have to be sealed or can it be mostly sealed? Like does it need to be like canning where you have it airtight?
