This is an Israeli lullaby (Shir Eres-שיר ערש) that I initially thought was one of the “casualties” of Omicron this month. I adapted this to guitar accompaniment, and was supposed to perform it. I then realized I could still perform it, and I’m sharing this with you, from the safety of my home. The composer is Sasha Argov, and the lyricist is Natan Alterman.

(An important note: I was able to record this at home today, because thanks to the vaccines and booster shot, my COVID symptoms are mild. Get vaccinated and boosted, if you haven’t already!)
