The annular eclipse coming up in October (Ring of Fire) is going to be at 9 am in Oregon and will be going right through the state. At that time of year you can easily get it in the shot. Come spend it in Oregon! On the coast Bandon will be smack in the middle of the path, and in Eastern Oregon the Alvord Desert will probably have the best skies in the state. The sun comes right up over the desert, it's beautiful. Come hang out with us!

Congratulations! I just found the two of you a few days ago and have been deeply admiring you, both technically and personally. Having just watched this 8 yr anniversary video I am now in love with you! I started light painting around 35 yrs ago, with film, I have dabbled since then, and now I am inspiring myself deeply thanks to the two of you!!! I live in Albuquerque NM, I expect we would enjoy each others company very much. If you make it back to NM I invite you to let me know. I would love to share the wild natural places I have discovered living here for the last 50 yrs. All the best, Lars
