make it a PNG with 100% quality for the best results. As for making the quality of a bad image better I'm not sure

How do you add texture on the text?
Double click on the text layer, then click the box for pattern overlay. Hope this helps

Oh yeah only like 3 of my videos thumbnails are inspired so no need to state that. I stated it in my how I make my thumbnails video but that's all that was necessary because the only similar one's were like my first few videos. And now I make it with my own style .
