I didn’t realise how excellent that third goal was when watching the game live, watching the highlights back it wasn’t just a lovely ball by Tanaka but from back to front, shifting the ball quickly, Gruev lovely arrow to Joseph, good hold up and lay off and then Tanaka brilliance
Another excellent evaluation. This is the type of discussion that meets my needs. I agree with the comment that they've got themselves bedding in before they meet title contenders. On that matter - (Firpo/Bogle) will their forward play compromise them when we meet the better teams, where their defensive skills will be needed more often, stopping them from attacking. Thanks for your Liverpool comments - very helpful. Gruev was unlucky not to score with that long shot. I think - is it Largie still getting used to the Championship? Although I'm sad Solomon is injured, that is a perfect time for Largie to settle in - I agree with you.. Re Joseph - he's almost migrated to a No 10, rather than a No 9. He's chasing the ball rather than goal hanging. THAT pass from Tanaka for the 3rd goal was sublime. Overall for me - I don't look for individual play, I look for team interactions and cohesiveness, as that is what makes a great team. But you're analysis is awesome. Thank you buddy.
The other comment was - Farke seemed to use his bench way more effectively than he normally does. Is that Daniel learning/49ers threatening/ or me looking through rose tinted spectacles? That might be a good subject for your future analysis.
I'm still on the fence with Gruev, watch him on Tv he looks great, watch him live & he kinda rats around without actually doing much 🤔. Anyway great vid Locky 👍
Why should Joseph come out if we keep winning-others are scoring and he is part of it . Watched Tanaka live at Cardiff when he came on -and he appears to follow the ball and make himself the extra man -very impressive! PS we need to look after our Welsh boys-their schedule is killing them!
@@lightninggornall In 6 matches that is a lot and anyway I think that it is 3. The one against Burnley was so typical of Bamford hence my comment. I think he is the right guy up front just needs to get his shooting boots back on like he did in the U21s.
@@leeedsonetwo like i say hardly any chances have been created for him, bamford missed sitters week in week out and had 4/5 chances per game , joseph has been lucky to get a couple of sites on goal and if he does it's been created by himself

I agree with you so much for your penultimate sentence. The team as a whole is playing so much better now.

Really enjoyed this Locky. Thank you.

I thought they all played well for most of the game. Great analysis from u. We have to better on set pieces, always the same corner ball with no pace.
Fab partnership with Struijk & Rodon
it is good to see Rodon/Struik have 'gelled'. Let's hope fitness doesn't raise it's ugly head

Can we believe how good Firpo is now
Well yes but defensively he hasn't gotten better, we always knew he was good with the ball
They were all worth being marked as at least a 7. When is Piroe going to get more respect though, 3 goals as a sub has to be impressive surely?
7.5 for Ramizani for me
Tough away games coming up
Think Joseph has been ok but that’s it
Way better than ok, his hold up and link up play is quality
I think MJ has some issues, he is missing like Bamford did. Much better player of course.
He's missed only 2chances he should of scored in
