    Had an original powershifter back when they came out-just got the double pedal that converts into two singles!!! Great for heavy metal

      You can probably convert it.. Parts on Pearl items can usually be interchangeable. They sell just the direct drive assembly for $60 up to $70 per assembly. Ive got this in the chain and its aggressive. I use a DW9002 which I find isnt as agressive but super easy to use. But I prefer the double chain over the use of a belt driven. It may have just been dw's nylon straps.. As ive seen different materials used for a belt. Oh and before anyone asks no I didnt purchase it myself. I won a raffle and recieved it. Theres no way I could have afforded the dw9002 and the redline.

    Quick question, I play a double bass kit and am in a Hard Rock/Metal band and sometimes for shows at smaller venues I break down my kit and use a single kick so I'm looking for a good,fast Double Pedal that can be used as two single pedals for when I'm using both kicks for bigger shows and to use as a double pedal for smaller shows. Currently I'm using the ddrum Quicksilver Direct Drive double pedal and it breaks down into two single pedals and can be used direct drive or chain drive, it's a very versitile pedal,but the bad news is the bearings and springs are crap. Someone told me that the Eliminator can be used as single pedals,is this true?

    This pedal desperately needs a rocking lower spring bearing. Without it, the lowest attainable spring tension is not low enough for many players. The DW and Iron cobra pedals attain a much lower spring tension even when they are not at the lowest possible setting.

    Great! So, you can move the foot board forward and backward! Awesome!! ..(cricket noises..) So....(?) , You gonna maybe tell us what doing that actually accomplishes? Why you may want this?
    ~ Or even just what effect moving the foot board forward has for those not 'physics savvy' (or just in layman's terms for either a hobbyist or professional looking for something specific!?)
    ::: TO PEARL's ENGINEERS: Bless you guys!, Truly,! ..but you Seriously need a Liaison between the department where amazing things are created, and the artists that end up using them. :)
    Especially for first time users, Or for a major artist deciding to back/endorse this pedal Because there was Some info about it that made them want to check it out in the first place! I imagine it does something at least Somewhat significant, given it is a Feature of this pedal, but no easy-to-understand Summary, (which would be invaluable for a Great many drummers), could potentially be impacting sales. So far, The Only info at all I've managed to find, (after days of digging), was that moving the foot board Forward (towards the drum head), gives a 'heavier feel'. That's great and all, but Only finding that out AFTER you purchase it????? That's not the greatest strategy. This should be a Selling Point!! NOT an afterthought you read about in the manual.
    Even a very brief, condensed explanation (that Actually explains something, and not just tells you the name of a certain colored cam) would be a Godsend. A 1 minute vid would probably be all it takes to sell thousands of units. We just need to know what's actually happening with this gorgeous pedal. Cheers and Thank YOU!! :)

      I agree! Please, Pearl, explain what all these adjustment options do in terms of impacting the feel & playability.

    • @remotexpolde
      @remotexpolde 3 года назад +1

      @Sacred R Lmaoooo... With an adjustment as small as That...?? Erm.. Lol... Are you really that much of an asshat? Seeing as your pulling a lot more perceived mass at an exaggerated angle, technically the heavier feel would be the reverse of what they are saying. Don't be an asshole. It's a fair question. Not to mention having any option without an explanation is tantamount to snake oil.

    • @remotexpolde
      @remotexpolde 3 года назад

      @Sacred R Well, Captain 5 yr old.. on top of owning one, and it being heavily modified, "It effects the power and feel of the pedal" ...wow. Yes. We all got exactly what Pearl says about that feature. And just like you, (who is I'm guessing some hybrid parrot..Wtf Lol).. they can't take a second to articulate just H o w it effects the feel of the pedal. And again, If you actually read the comment instead of reacting all agro-hilarious, you will see I put for the 'less Tech Savvy' (Thanks for the tear-up laugh-inducing comments btw..) I also went ahead and liked your comment as well ;) You're a funny little turd. 4 separate replies.. I must say, I'm flattered, tho I hope I didn't keep you up at night.
