You can also make the neck band as a waistband and cut the wings into a water like style for Lapis Lazuli cosplays. You can also add strings to the wings for your wrists for a hydrokinesis effect like your controlling water.

I made these veil wings and took it with me to my dancing lesson this week. Now my teacher and a few of of the students want to have one too. So I have work to do: sowing veil wings! I'm also going to try to make it of other light fabrics. Thank you so much for this great idea!

+dirkje7000 Ohhh so happy to hear that! :D Yes, I think there are so many possibilities with these veil wings like different materials, designs, shapes, layers! Please share your creations at facebook.com/groups/sparklybelly if you are comfortable, and you'll inspire even more dancers to give it a try too ;)

Hello sparkly .... beautiful video ... I am a dancer and I am from an Ispana-speaking country .... as there are not many tutorial videos as beautiful as this one and so fundamental for making costumes I wanted to ask you if you can put subtitles in "Spanish". I can suggest it better ..... since I don't speak English and I use a translator 🤗 a huge greeting from Argentina.

they will restrict the movement of the fabric more but can work. just not like in this tutorial. they need to lie from centre to edge rather than around
