You may be interested to know that there's only about a 56% chance that you went the driest on lights. You can stop reading here if statistics don't interest you. It's analogous to having 175 people pick marbles from a bag with replacement. If 299 marbles are red, and one is blue (this represents the 1/300 chance of going as dry as you did), the probability that if you picked a blue marble, then you're the only person who drew a blue marble (you going as dry as you did, and everyone else got luckier on lights than you), is the same as the probability that every one else picked a red marble. This is just the probability of drawing a red marble (299/300) to the power of the number of people (174) =~ 0.56. This analogy isn't perfect, but it gets the idea across. And to all the stat people that are screaming internally right now, I know this isn't a great explanation, but I CBA going into random variables and binomial distributions; however, if I did make a legitimate mistake, please correct me.
I think we can go one further, not by probability, but by analyzing people's behaver. That isn't an interesting boss to fight. So, why in the world would someone be still attempting it as an iron man after 2000 kills? It isn't like they can sell their duplicates. The answer is simple, they haven't completed the drop table yet. So that leads me to guess that likely all of those people with more kill count than him were more dry than he was (save for maybe the weirdos who want to keep their positions on the leader board).
