- Venus, the second planet from the Sun, holds a wealth of unique and peculiar features that set it apart from the other celestial bodies in our solar system.
Extreme Heat: Venus experiences scorching surface temperatures that can reach up to 900 degrees Fahrenheit (475 degrees Celsius). It's the hottest planet in our solar system, even hotter than Mercury, the closest planet to the Sun.
Thick, Toxic Atmosphere: Venus' atmosphere is primarily composed of carbon dioxide and thick clouds of sulfuric acid. This dense atmosphere creates a runaway greenhouse effect, trapping heat and making the planet's surface unbearable.

This is my new go to channel for bedtime. Great voice to slowly drift off too.
I like that the narrator gives it to you straight and doesn’t overdramatize it. The soundtrack as well is awesome, it doesn’t sound like a Michael bay film the way other shows try to.
Very impressed with this video. I have always been interested in astronomy and physics. It was things like this that drove me to enter those professions. Thank you for feeding my insatiable curiosity about the universe and the wonders that we discove
On repeat
I don't listen to much unless its from a reputable source
7:45 isn’t Olympus Mons(Mars) the tallest mountain in the solar system?
No it is a volcano not a mountain, learn facts then comment lol
@@wayneallen9192Don’t be a d*ckhead he was only asking a question!
Venus rhymes with what... ???
Are you 12 years old??
If you tip Venus over it would rotate I the right direction as the other planets and Earth. I have a model of the Earth spinning on a base. When I reverse the poles it is rotating in the sane direction as Venus. I firmly believe if it was to rotate in the same direction as earth the Corollis effect would cause the athmosphere to spin out into space and cause cooling down despite the intense Volcanism and then ex greenhouse effects. I do believe that Venus is an exoplanet that was caught by our Sun about 500 million year ago when we had the last explosion in our Solar system through unknown galactic event. Perhaps Astrophysicists can use AI to reverse time in our galaxy and solar system to see which star system formerly had Venus. Maybe Sirius or Zeta star system described in one of the alien abduction stories!
