We want to give Andrew and Robert a Big Cowboy Yeehaw and Shout out for having us come down to Tombstone and explore their mines with them. Oh my gosh! That picture of 'Big Nosed Kate',, Doc Holliday MUST'VE REALLY HAD bad eyesight to jump in the sack with THAT woman! UUGH! 🤮 WHY didn't Doc buy himself some eye glasses BEFORE he hooked up with THAT? Poor guy. She's a FAR CRY from the 'Big Nosed Kate' they used in the 'Tombstone' movie with Kurt Russell and Val Kilmer! WOW! Well, THAT'S HOLLYWOOD for ya? 🤣🤣🤣
Wish my wife an I could attend one of your 3 day gold hunting treks, but we got a ranch with lots of different animals that take up 90% of our lives. It's expensive finding animal caretakers just to leave town for a few days and hard to find responsible one's at that. But I'm a HUGE subscriber and love your channel, my wife and I are always laughing and learning from you. Maybe someday we can figure something out and if you have openings, attend one with you. I'm so very sorry about the loss of 'The Gold Lady and her husband and are burning with anger as well over that scumbag who murdered them and is STILL at large. Would LOVE to put a posse together and go catch that guy and do things to him like they did in the old 1800's. HANGIN' PARTY! P.S, Everytime you ask if anyone is willing to come down and help you work in your mine at home, I always raise my hand! 👋😁 Heck, I'd even do it for FREE, just to learn how to and experience it with you. Keep up the great and funny vids, my Brother. Our best to you and your sweet Mrs. 🙂👍
Jeff Best "Indian Tacos" I ever had were from San Xavier Rez er Reservation Southwest of Tombstone past the tourist traps and Mission on left side being sold at end of driveway
Tombstone is one of those tourist traps that is actually worth visiting. Also, the countryside around there is beautiful. I, for one, highly recommend it. Good job, Jeff. LET'S GO!
When in college taking busness admin . The story spoke of how Levi Strous was conned when buying canvas for making tents .the front of the load was but the rest was denim . So he ended up being a gold miner broke . He was hurting his body so he was a tailor by trade so he made his work pants and jackets with pockets and ways to carry tools. His nieghbors wanted these work cloths . Took a downfall and used it to create a legend. We all have fallen but its how you stand back up that matters!
I heard the same story but just a little bit different. He never was a gold miner. He came there with all the canvas to make tents. What he did not realize is everybody already had tenths otherwise they would not have gone out there. What they did need was durable trousers. The only thing that kept him afloat was patching trousers with canvas. Then he started making some pants out of canvas. That's why blue jeans are riveted. Part of the tent making. When he reordered he went with the cheaper Denim. More flexible than canvas. Not waterproof but wasn't necessary. Also heard it in business. It was a story about how you are not in charge of your business, the marketplace is. The lecturer that shared this started off with a PC repair on a campus. Started dabbling in repairing bikes. Now has seventeen locations authorized dealer.
@@robertlint4742 it wasn't just in college either. That was a reading comprehension portion of the SAT. You read the story answer questions. Maybe you only took a certain portion of the story. Also you're talkin about business administration. I was in an entrepreneurial course study. It was intended to get us to start thinking like entrepreneurs. That whole section had a theme of you are not the boss of your business. The market is. I make $35,000 in 6 wks. All by myself. And I can't even take credit for it. I just listened to the demand in the market. So the story of Levi goes like this, he thought he was moving out west to be tent maker because of his analysis of the market. The truth is he went there to be a supporting service of the mining community, his analysis was wrong. But he stuck to the rough business plan of servicing the miners and allowed the miners to dictate what they wanted. I never thought I would get into paint. Nevertheless I have a small fishing boat I call spilled paint. Anyways the whole reason they became known as the 2 horse brand is that how he marketed. Just like the opium tinksters. Going to a main street with a covered wagon and do a demonstration. He would have his salesman take the two horses that were pulling his stock and have them play tug-of-war w the pants. So this was revisited when we were covering product demonstration.
Two of the clantons escaped and moved their cattle hustling business up to northern Az. On Christmas Day my great grandfather met his death by one of the Clanton brothers. He wanted to see if a bullet would kill a Mormon. Soon after the whole clanton gang met their same fate. Awesome video Jeff!
I lived down there for a few years. That corner of Arizona is where everything happened. It is said that there is a man killed for every square mile in S/E Arizona. Thanks for the great explore. It is an area rich in history and artifacts. Southern Arizona is peppered with mines. It would take a lifetime to explore them all.
That's a lot o history, above ground, and down below the surface, there is more gold indeed. Another fantastic run, Jeff & Lila. Thank you, very much, yes, I SMASHED that like button HARD!
Loved the mine exploration and the history. Hahaha ... I can't believe it. Ms. Lila can spend hours repelling down rock walls in an abandoned mine and still have magnificent finger nails and hair at the end of the day. Total respect!

I passed through Tombstone on my way from Texas to the Pacific NW. Quite the drive. I did know about the mine there until you mentioned it, Jeff. That was in 2011.
Those nails!!! 11:15 All the way down in those dirty drifts! That is hilarious. Great video! I wonder if the spirits had something to do with the audio.😱
This was a great view of Tombstone, thank you for sharing. Seeing the Civil Defense supplies reminded me of a place where I worked. Way down in the basement they had the water barrels and Crackers. And yes my coworker did try them and said they were rather STALE. . I think ours were dated 1964. I do hope with all this running around you're not neglecting those big red worms. And as always real life is stranger thank fiction. Keep up the good work and COME ON Lets Gooooooooooo
I wonder how much silver ore is left in undiscovered ore shoots at the old Tombstone mines? Professional dowsing inside the mines using the modern light weight ball bearing dowsing will answer that question. This is the only dowsing rod that uses the strength of gravity pitted against the strength of the elemental magnetic flux lines that are being dowsed, for accurately deciphering all edges, exact center, depth buried with angle of deposition, and most importantly GRADING. I wrote a recently published book for teaching the world how to use physics in dowsing with the modern light weight ball bearing dowsing rod. The ten chapters explain - how every element emit an electromagnetic microwave band frequency with no two elements having the same - how the same elemental atoms in an elemental mass band together their electromagnetic microwave band frequency for producing the elemental magnetic flux lines with no two elements having the same - how to build your own modern light weight ball bearing dowsing rod - how the dowsing rod load attached to the dowsing rod becomes energized by the same element's elemental magnetic flux lines which also energize the electronic metal detector - how to dowse out buried pipelines and cables, precious metal placer and lode deposits, any sought element, amplified long distance dowsing from a moving vehicle, and dowsing for treasure. I give free dowsing lessons in Laplata Canyon near Durango Colorado where a gold vein system runs underneath the Laplata County Road. This is as much more information to explain than is possible in a post, so thank you for reading this post and have a safe, healthy, good day.
Wow so much history, relics, love story, tool, photo, saloon, gun fight soon this like a real movie location 😅, I see part of thet movie, but see like that is more interesting. I love this town and the audio isn't a problem, sometimes video talk by himself. Buy guy's 👍😉
*We like your wife's fingernails at **11:16** spot. HA, you guys are crazy cool. MY wife would never go down that shaft, especially rappeling. We are $10 a month subs, paid a year in advance!*
Always wanted to go there, TY Jeff & Lila for a such a super trip. Got me a Gold bug ll about 3 years ago , must go a run with ya, Now living in Tatum Tx .
My great grandpa (born around 1915) and his dad (born around 1890) spent a lot of time going around the southwest hunting for minerals and GOLD! they had gold fever pretty bad, but they mainly wanted treasure. i grew up hearing about superstition caves and hidden gold there. They had found a few truly dead ghost towns that were not tourist spots (and dangerous to get to) that went largely unknown until the 1980's i think. all i have now are the stories about where the ghost towns are though because their hand drawn maps were lost after my great grandpa died. I remember him talking about how there was still stuff like jeans and some mining tools in the ghost town. He also told me it was likely no one would find it unless they were also looking for minerals because the road in was beyond washed out (there was absolutely no trace of it). Its funny to think that the true fortune out there in the southwest is the jeans and not the gold! at least that's true for the ghost towns that are mostly unknown (if any are left).
12:45 Hilarious!! I love it when people aren’t afraid to have fun and be a kid at any age! Let’s you know they’re real and know how to enjoy life! Keeps you sane too.
Jeff it takes a certain type of folk to have that type of....itch. As Robert Burns said, "May a' Guid' thing attend ye'!". Vancouver Island on the side.🥓🙂
What an awesome video Jeff, thank you! Love your humour & innuendos. Must say Lila is totally amazing, she's brilliant. Really surprised about the gunfight at the OK Corral. I always thought the shoot out was like in a Clint Eastwood spaghetti western. The badies at one end of the town & the goodies the other. Tombstone is most definitely on my to see before I die bucket list. It couldn't have been easy being a lady of the night back in them days. Say or do something wrong & you'd get shot! I could go on & on with praise about this video Jeff but I won't. Got more serious things to do on this very wet, thundery, windy night. Gotta get out there & find ma pants. They got blown clean off today & I've got no idea where they are. I need them for work in the morning lol! Stay safe, awesome & take care. Really hope Lila has her nails done in a Halloween design soon 👻
thanks and yes my wife is the best ..... thanks for the comments .... did we blow them clean off or what ...let us know if ya find them ...if not then Commando style
@@Askjeffwilliams well, it's a darn good job I sew my name & phone number in my pants so I remember who I am, because those pants ended up 23 miles away!! No excuse for Commando style now as got my pants back lol 😂
was in Tombstone 30 yrs back, they called it big nose Kate's saloon then. you paid too go inside for tour. Story back then was the town caught fire, all the patrons ran out of big nose Kate's too fight the fire. her salon being alittle further from town and built out brick was unharmed. the place never reopened supposed to have been left just as it was when everyone ran out. drinks on tables, cards on the tables, what ever was left was in place like time capsule. you were not allowed to touch anything. they said people came from miles around for a the stage shows. it was a packed house nightly. I asked what was a packed house? they answered 50. you walked down to the lower salon, they said it was for the patrons with little means and little money. the brothel rooms were for the less fortunate over used women. you could walk into them back then. I see they changed the history alot.
Awesum as always. I'm headed to Nelson to buy a couple claims this next week. Tombstone store sells some nice silver ore. I've processed some of it. God Speed my friends.
I wish you could do a show on the commonwealth mine in PEARCE, AZ. Perhaps you could get access that most can not. Lots of History There. It would be unique to see... Back when the mine was for sale, I walked to the top of the mountain, and seen 5 inch thick veins of some kind of purple gem material. Never been in the mine itself, but I bet it is amazing. And watch for the snakes....
found leverite yesterday (leave er right there) was out by the ord mining district. outside barstow ca be back didnt go to the wash like i want to brought new people out but was a great day trashy area. good sign. have a good day
I'm a Moore Any my father mentioned many years about Boot Hill at Tombstone AZ . So I went bjonkers when Lester Moore came up Here Lies Lester Moore , shot from 4 slugs from a 44 . No Les no more 😆 What a great tour of Tombstone that was . Thanks for the vid Jeff
Wow what a awesome awesome place. I would love to visit and explore there. I'm in Australia but I'll come over one day. Thank you Jeff for showing this truly amazing place.
Wow so awesome finding old Levi’s! Tony was there too where is Joanne? Great explorer lots of cool footage. Loved watching it! You know Kris and I haul out of Apache Powder down the street it pretty cool to being part of history.
MAX !!!!!! you would love this place ....so many drifts ....glad you liked it and you should bring a couple of cases of Apache Powder our way for the mine . Lol take care and see ya soon
Outstanding video Jeff !! Love that place!! Did ya meet any Slim's relatives at Boot Hill ? Thanks for taking us down under the streets tour ! Amazing mineralization zones still intact ! Bet there's still millions of $$$ of shiny waiting to be mined too ! Next to Wyatt or Doc, you were probably the most popular man on Allen Street that day. Yeehaw !! Take care my Brother ! 🤠⛏⚒👍👍👍
That was pretty neat, Jeff! I'm surprised you didn't mention the longest running poker game in history in the basement of the Bird Cage, though. You were standing right next to the table!
Seeing you ride that rail brought back a lot of memories. The smell of freshly fired dynamite. The cold air. When I was a kid in the 70's and early 80's we used to go through Kokoweef all the time. My parents were on the board and I was the gofer for the meetings. LOL
Oh man!! If those are really Levi's, Brent must be incredibly envious!! It's his white whale. (BTW Jeff, you REALLY need to do a collab with Ghost Town Living!)
Mint chocolate chip is my favorite as well... My least fav ironically is Rocky Road, marshmallow must be melted to be edible for me...I really learn so much from your content... I will be ordering your book soon as I learn how to navigate your sites... I have many questions that have come up due to information gaps... Possibly, there may still be some things we have not figured out regarding formation and/ or deposition of the Royal Elemental Groups... Although and because I love to expand my knowledge I have realized that we don't know everything about the transitional elements because we cannot see every bridge ( or transition ) linking elements... Take tellurides for instance, they were once believed to be without values, and called fools gold, and as you probably know the top producer of Au is Calaverite, a Gold Telluride... I try not to let what we know stop me from discovering something new... I don't let the fear of looking foolish or sounding crazy or being ridiculed by others, who they themselves have already been limited to and by the accepted doctrine... All knew theory, throughout history, has been met with harsh resistance... Any thoughts??
Hi Sonny Jim!!! 🤗💥!!! You're all I have now lad. My lungs are pouched now. I'm 52. Never clean coke ovens at Stelco Steel in Hamilton, Ontario 🇨🇦. Breathing is interesting now for me. So I watch you, and others like Dan and Paul... Don't smoke cigarettes kids either!!!🤗🇨🇦🥓💥
i can not count how many tones of old CD material we hauled away in dump trucks. med kits, food, candy and water/toilet cans. we was told from the feds to get rid of it all.. small city we dumped so much it was pitiful. oh BTW this was the late 1980's

A restaurant I worked in still had a pile of these in the attic, the basement had been built out into a fallout shelter in the 70s.
2:48 Jeff looking like a grasshopper with his green shirt on hopping on down, dude cracks me up..I love it!
thats me
Jeff another fine video you and your wife work well together. Be safe my friends.
Those nails!!! 11:15 All the way down in those dirty drifts! That is hilarious.
Great video! I wonder if the spirits had something to do with the audio.😱
Could be
This was a great view of Tombstone, thank you for sharing. Keep up the good work and COME ON Lets Gooooooooooo
thanks
This was awesome. Thanks for the experience! ComeOn Let’s Go!!!!
Any time!
Been to Tombstone many times ,even before we moved to Arizona . Last time we went on the tourist mine tour. Something keeps drawing you back
I wonder how much silver ore is left in undiscovered ore shoots at the old Tombstone mines?
Wow the minerals and sulfides in there are insane! I’ve got a P-38 “John Wayne” on my keychain. Loved it brother🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
I love how at 27:35 or so you mercifully ease the chap *gently* into the world of Jeff Williams. XD
I know...right
Y'all are goofballs and I love it! Never seen anyone have so much fun subterranean style 🤣
No doubt! Love these guys.
You are a lucky man Jeff. Your Wife is a trooper! 👍👍👍

Wow so much history, relics, love story, tool, photo, saloon, gun fight soon this like a real movie location 😅, I see part of thet movie, but see like that is more interesting. I love this town and the audio isn't a problem, sometimes video talk by himself. Buy guy's 👍😉
I am reading a book about Tombstone. As a chef, I found it interesting that Tombstone in the day was a culinary destination.
Wow 😮 50 miles , try walking that far let alone digging that far. Can't imagine, it's mind boggling 😳👍👍
Tell me about it
I just used my P38 last week I could't find my modern opener. Works great.
12:45 Hilarious!! I love it when people aren’t afraid to have fun and be a kid at any age! Let’s you know they’re real and know how to enjoy life! Keeps you sane too.
Got to admire Lila for trying something most people would not dream to attempt.
shes the best
Awesome, a real stage coach!👍😍
As an Anthropologist, this is sooooo neat!!!! Thank you folks! I would just love to be in there. I'm happy.🇨🇦🥓🤗
thanks
Jeff it takes a certain type of folk to have that type of....itch.
As Robert Burns said, "May a' Guid' thing attend ye'!".
Vancouver Island on the side.🥓🙂
33 :41 best part of all your videos! class time
I still have my P-38 from 1970. Still use it when in the hills an open my pork and beans or my spinach.
What a. killer video Jeff! You always come through with something new!
thanks Johnny
Sweet! What an interesting place
Great video, much fun!
Thanks Jeff, That was a GREAT Informational Vid on Tombstone!!!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Jeff your wife is a trooper , much respect .
yes she is
Your wife is fearless! Great video as always guys.
yes she is
was in Tombstone 30 yrs back, they called it big nose Kate's saloon then. you paid too go inside for tour.
You keep doin videos like this and I'm getting off my Hiney and gonna go look for some shiny!
Good thing you went before Lila, so if she falls you can catch her! 😁 This is a really good video, I enjoyed it.
Glad you enjoyed it
P-38: "can opener"
Great video, Jeff!
Cool, thanks
@@Askjeffwilliams Have you done any panning around Kingman?
Awesum as always. I'm headed to Nelson to buy a couple claims this next week. Tombstone store sells some nice silver ore. I've processed some of it. God Speed my friends.
Great history lesson with a little about geology. Perfect
I have to reply.. Twice!!! What a nice surprise, shout-out at 44:35. Nice touch.
thats was just for you Gary
I wish you could do a show on the commonwealth mine in PEARCE, AZ. Perhaps you could get access that most can not. Lots of History There. It would be unique to see... Back when the mine was for sale, I walked to the top of the mountain, and seen 5 inch thick veins of some kind of purple gem material. Never been in the mine itself, but I bet it is amazing. And watch for the snakes....
found leverite yesterday (leave er right there) was out by the ord mining district. outside barstow ca be back didnt go to the wash like i want to brought new people out but was a great day trashy area. good sign. have a good day
Very good video again! I enjoy your adventures✌️🇫🇮
Glad you like them!
Fantastic entertainment and very informative. Thanks.
I'm a Moore

Wow what a awesome awesome place. I would love to visit and explore there. I'm in Australia but I'll come over one day. Thank you Jeff for showing this truly amazing place.
Wow so awesome finding old Levi’s! Tony was there too where is Joanne? Great explorer lots of cool footage. Loved watching it! You know Kris and I haul out of Apache Powder down the street it pretty cool to being part of history.
Never mind 😂 there is Joanne later in the video!
MAX !!!!!! you would love this place ....so many drifts ....glad you liked it and you should bring a couple of cases of Apache Powder our way for the mine .
thanks Allan, I think Isaw him out there ......you betcha .....yes there is..... hahha thanks and you too my brother
That was pretty neat, Jeff! I'm surprised you didn't mention the longest running poker game in history in the basement of the Bird Cage, though. You were standing right next to the table!
Jeff you sir are a wealth of information. Great video and thank you!
thanks and you betcha
thanks,
you two you guys are amazing love going on tours with you, you go on some great and interesting tours love the knowledge and history you give
thanks
25:00 - Afternoon tea with that water.
Seeing you ride that rail brought back a lot of memories. The smell of freshly fired dynamite. The cold air. When I was a kid in the 70's and early 80's we used to go through Kokoweef all the time. My parents were on the board and I was the gofer for the meetings. LOL
aaaah yes the legendary river of Gold ....we know it well
Oh man!! If those are really Levi's, Brent must be incredibly envious!! It's his white whale. (BTW Jeff, you REALLY need to do a collab with Ghost Town Living!)
he should come to Tombstone ....so many here and he should do a Collab with us
I was in Tombstone a few months ago and only walked up and down the street a couple days. I feel like an underachiever 😀
Awesome thanks for sharing with us 🙏
you betcha
Jeff, it's nice to see how patient you are with everybody, a lot of geologists I have seen are rude and obnoxious to people.
thanks
Tombstone is on my list to visit. Sounds pretty cool.
Glen Beck will give you $100k for those Levi's if the tag on the back pocket is present and readable.
Thanks Jeff !
Jeff did you warn her about this before she married you ? 🤣
Maybe did she warn him when saying lets walk this way .lol
Hhhhaaaa, Cumom, Lets Goooooo
Years ago someone found a pair of Levis in a CA mine and they sold for an amazing amount of money.
they recently found a pair that sold for $87,000
Id bet the farm theres some paranormal activities in that saloon ....wow that is so neat ....
Considering how much a pair of 19century Levi's sold at auction a couple of weeks ago, those could be ten of thousands of dollars find.
i can not count how many tones of old CD material we hauled away in dump trucks. med kits, food, candy and water/toilet cans. we was told from the feds to get rid of it all.. small city we dumped so much it was pitiful. oh BTW this was the late 1980's
