- I need the real USC to stand up and remind everyone who they are and how they play football. There are some similarities to the USC's 2024 team on offense compared to the 2008 squad with a great defense. I explain why Miller Moss and the offense will look more like the real USC.
In the show's 2nd segment, I talk about the Julian Lewis recruitment and also explain why college football recruiting is chasing the fans away with their instant gratification approach to the process.
I have a prediction on who will be USC's next defensive line commit will be and when it will happen. The show's final segment will tell you who it is and why.

I used love to follow SC recruiting, but NIL has ruined the recruiting process for me. I don't waste a second of my life worried about what an 18-year-old kid is going to do anymore. I will focus on the guys that are committed to being a Trojan. Period!

Every day someone says to you you're not paying me enough . No appreciation for the effort these guys give every day to develop kids who most will never appreciate what you've done.

USC has had some great lineman. My sons played in the same little league with Sam Baker. Baker played first base as well as my son (different teams) but both made an All Star team together. He was a big boy (Sam).

I agree with those that say just go to Juju. Kids can burn bridges. I realize he's very young but one selection issue for me is are you decisive. I'm starting to wonder when he drops back to pass and sees five wide receivers and wants to go visit all of them . Holds the ball and gets knocked on his butt.

It’s gonna be a much improved defense but a tough 1-2 start to eventually be a 6-7 win season. Coach Riley and staff depart due to nil frustration.

2008 SC beats Fl by 2 scores easily. This years squad just needs to get more 3 and outs and hold some drives to FGs. Thats it. Do that, this team wins 10 games. Fight On ✌🏼✌🏼
Time that Riley sits down with Juju and his parents. These flirtations with other teams have passed the annoying level. Could be, although a medium long shot, thatJuJu is the third stringer in 2025,at least no. 2 and he knows this. Riley has time to dig up a replacement for Ju Ju. On the other hand JuJu could really shine up a fifth star this fall in his third year in high school. Rather see him sign but also not frightened if he de commits. Just bad juju for Troy.

Miller moss reminds you of Sanchez? Sanchez was like player of the year nationally as a senior, Sanchez bigger, much much much stronger arm, much faster runner. Sanchez rose performance was insane ; vs a very good psu defense moss was good, even very good , but against an over rated defense. Moss could easily have had two-3 more interceptions.
Morning Marc, if USC is giving up 30pts per game to Big10 offenses then we are in trouble for the coming year. Why is everyone going crazy over what Juju is posting on social media like I said Juju and his dad are looking at that second NFL contract not how big a NIL deal he can get now, plus we don't know what conversations are going on between Juju and CLR.
President Folks' contract has not been finalized. Fans hope she commits with NIL reality to this football program before she signs. Everyone needs to be on the same page.
I personally am over the whole Julian Lewis situation and wouldn’t care if he flips, and I believe his actions are holding back our class from being better
There's only 1 recruiter since the Pete Carroll era who has proven to do these 3 things:
1. Compete with Oregon's Tosh Lupoi for DL recruits
2. Consistently signed big bodies from East to West.
3. Locked down local recruits.
That man is Coach O. He's available. So, bottom line, blame yourself if you're struggling to sign these guys, and he wasn't your first call. THIS IS WHAT SEPERATES, Alabama and Oregon. Both teams reached out to Tosh Lupoi 1st when they needed an ACE recruiter. Keep in mind Tosh had baggage coming in too (recruiting violation allegations) that didn't matter. Bottom line YOU hire the guys that can do the job. Coach Henderson and Nua are fine, but neither can touch Coach O when it comes to recruiting.
Remember. USC hired Clay Helton as a HC. Lincoln Riley Hired Alex Grinch. It's seems insane that they can hire these two and NOT consider the BEST option to fix their recruiting issue.
Its obvious some players are using USC as leverage to get more money from the schools they really plan to sign with. There are other kids that like SC and are all in right away and those are the kids that are going to stick. The kids that keep taking visits and are showing that they are still entertaining offers, those kids are the type of kids that don't sign and if they sign, they will hit the transfer portal and go somewhere else. Serious coaches are not interested in those type of kids.
Is JuJu that much better than Longstreet because it's seems like JuJu will bri g alot of drama
Miller Moss is incredibly smart and savvy, but not quite the same physical tools or arm strength as mark.

Marc every year there are recruits that commit to a school and take visits to other schools it’s nothing new it’s recruiting

Trojan Football is Not and Will Never be About One Player, PERIOD! Everyone is replaceable. Right now USC already has 2 excellent QB's on the roster and getting great QB's to play for CLR is pretty easy.
They won a close, hard fought game at Arizona 17-10. Made a 4th down stop at mid field. USC lost 27-21 at Oregon St who finished 9-4. Florida lost 37-31 at home to Ole Miss who finished 9-4. So explain to me how Florida made it and USC didn't? Absolute joke!! There's your SEC bias..It's always there. And SC had a 35-3 whipping against Ohio St!! Of course that meant nothing to the pollsters. It should have been USC vs Oklahoma. And it would have been another SC beat down of the Sooners. They're lucky we didn't make it.. If this years team even resembles that team in any way, it will be good year..

The real USC will be another 7-5, First Responders Bowl-losing, ho-hum, mediocre pile of irrelevant slop. Our 3-star schlumps with the 119th worst defense in college football, with our 4th tier QBs, with our center who has never played a snap at center, with our LBs who let every broken down 'scrambling' QB rumble past them again and again while leaving the middle of the field WIDE OPEN on EVERY play, with our D line where guys let every RB get around the edge for another 41 yard run on 3rd and 8, will have a tough season against numerous elite 5-star programs. That, sadly, seems to be the real USC. A 16th straight season of being left out of the NC conversation, and missing the CFP, AGAIN, continuing our streak of having NEVER GONE. Hurts to say it. Hope I'm dead wrong.
6-6 is a possibility. Do not under estimate the also rans in the old Big Ten. At least, a doubting Thomas until LSU game.
