I did this, and for some reason it treats the Xbox controller like an oculus controller, I can’t play games, but I can select apps and stuff, I don’t know what to do, please help
@@NotEnvixityy only problem is there aren’t a lot of good vr games with high res graphics. You need a computer to play hi res so I was hoping Xbox would make something like psvr that works with the oculus.

Thanks your other videos help hopefully you already did a video and I haven’t seen it, I’m not asking to take laptop apart and add just a wire type plug in idea
All you need a link cable don’t buy the expensive one but don’t buy the cheapest one anything under 5 ft won’t work so I would get like a 8 foot one and then it works well if you still have troubles after this search up a video on youtube

So why can’t you change the background to black or dark the lights are always on in the background but they are off when your setting up the controller kind of annoying I think

U have to pair you remote to the oculus. The remote needs to be bluetooth..the old xbox remote won't work.. u need an elite or xs remote.. hope that helps
I could be wrong and maybe we have the feature but what i would really like is a family group connected to the main game pass ultimate sub.. on the xbox console my kids can play any games but if they use cloud gaming on my phone and Oculus would be the same they have no access to the games since they personally dont have a sub.. similar to how Nintendo switch works if you could link 2 or 3 family accounts that would be epic... Mostly because i want to play my game on the tv because its not on cloud and then i can palm my kids the phone or oculus lol

Honestly that looks like crap. I could just about count the frames. I wouldn’t pay 50 bucks for that expierence. Sorry I’m used to 60 frames smooth. This is trash.
This may be down to the capture of the VR headset. It didn’t look too bad to me through my eyes. Probably not 60fps but not as jittery as in the video.

Hopefully they can start making real vr games stream from Xbox. That way we can play games like hl Alex with the need for a pc.

Microsoft has really pushed boundaries! From the mess that was in the 360 years to now bringing Xbox games to every device without owning an Xbox !

No. It pairs with the controller and uses the Cloud XBox game service.
I would suggest leaving your console churned on if you plan to remote in whether it be by the phone, tablet or in this case, the oculus quest 2

I tried this on my Quest 3, the Xbox and the PS5 controller's wouldn't connect, because f this i sold my Quest.

Well that sucks. It’s just a tv. I have a 200” setup at home. I want true immersive man.
Can't play anything unless you have Xbox ultimate.
So sad, can't even play games that you own or games that are free unless you buy a subscription
