This khayal bandhish' tore kaaran aayo maanan kariye' is a music lesson in itself. Just by singing this one the Gods must have moved over to offer him the place in heavens! Musician of Musicians Pt Mallikarjun Mansur!

Agree, Gwalior seems to handle Gaud Malhar better. Sulochana Brahaspati has a very beautiful recording from an AIR broadcast of Gaud Malhar on youtube. The bandish (I think by her husband?) is also wonderful.
No doubt about it. D V Paluskar has taken it to a very rarified level. Similarly, for those interested in the subject, his renditions of Raag Alhaiya Bilawal, Todi and Bhoop are of the most sublime, matchless quality.
मान न करो री गोरी
तुम्हरे कारन आयो मेहा ।
हरी हरी भूमी पर
बरसो ही छाये
ए नयी नार, नयो मेहा ॥
Ufffffffff. It takes you some other world.
Pt. G. You are matchless.
It is very difficult to sing like him, with such a depth and breadth and also soul full elevation.
He sings so soulfully so effectively that no words are enough to describe that. Just touches your heart in every way possible.

How true!
please, translate this bandish to english!

Sweet Like Honey
Kya he lajawab hunar paya hai Pandit g ne.
Amazing........
Whenever I listen to Panditji tears rolls.
True! This is what many fans of Mansurji experience.
I had the fortune of meeting him several years ago during his concert in Lucknow. We spoke in Kannada our mother tongue and he was happy to interact.
Mai tore kaaran aayo re , maanan kariye , with only one sentence , Pandit Mallikarjun Mansur ji washed my soul , Pranaam Mrs Rajya lakshmi Pantulu
Thank you so much for sharing!!!!
तरल आवाज
marvellous presentation by Pt Mansur ji...
but I daresay, Pt D V Paluskar's rendition of the same has a mystical, other worldly element

I have got addicted to that recording by D.V Paluskar!
