It has to be a little u "Debbie Downer" but that's because it's a production. Other than that its great!! I've luckily done quite a bit of hitchhiking throughout 19-22 but most of it was in Hawaii which is pretty chill compared to my Mainland hitchhiking experiences. People on the mainland are a lot more scared but if u have a surfboard, girlfriend, or dog it's a lot easier

David Choe painted murals on the walls of the Facebook headquarters. They offered him stock or cash. He chose stock. That stock earned him $200 million. He prophesied the future @ 4:20
As if this series couldn't get any more dangerous and sketchy. Drivento town by a bunch of Louisiana boys laughing about a noose hanging from a tree. Haha he must of been so scared.
Choe reminds me of what Martin Sheen said about Duvalls character in Apocalypse Now. You just know, as long as he is on the road, hes not even gonna get a scratch on him. Figurative, ofcourse, but you get this feeling from Choe thathes always gonna be all right
I've been watching these at least ten times through since 2013 when these came out on youtube, and they grown a lot in popularity over the next few months which is great cause it's an amazing series.
I’m from the north of Scotland and a couple of elderly gentleman from Lake Charles, Louisiana stayed at my folks guest house a few years ago. They were the funniest, kindest blokes I think I’ve met. When David and his nephew ended up at Lake Providence and the two guys from there gave them a lift - that accent and the sense of humour made me remember why I desperately want to visit Louisiana and the other south-eastern states of the USA.
I've only heard his cousin say two words throughout all these vids. He said one word in the last vid when they were makin peanut butter sandwiches, and "LIMO!!!!!" in this vid.
I have been watching the hitchhiking episodes for a couple days now and I absolutely love it, as a busker myself I love seeing a sense o adventure in people taking risks, really living in life. To make it even better it gives me a 90s vibe which i love.
man im here after rogans podcast im 4/5 first season.. it really is great to see the good people they come across... with all the division being highlighted in the news i bet their interactions would be very different now which is so fucked because i believe there still so many good people out there
The way he mocks his own race in a very affable way is probably one aspect on how he made his money... The part at the end, strolling up to that hunting club with the umbrella in hand... Priceless and Hilarious.
The best part is David Choe made the art in Facebook's head office back in 07 and chose to be paid in shares. His net-worth is currently valued at 200 million USD! HAHAHA No wonder he gambles so much!
I'm not American but I lived in the South for 7 years and unfortunately moved back to Europe. This video makes me immensely nostalgic, southerners are always hospitable and helpful to everyone, I was a foreigner but I felt accepted and right at home as opposed to where I live now or even my homeland. One day I hope to return to the US, get an RV and road trip from west to east with my pals
Riah Nix dude I think you just gotta get out there. your vibes will match other peoples vibes. im sure its not at bad as a mind can make it seem. actually think its way cooler than that
Thing you need to understand about white people is we are pretty harmless. Harmless unless it's a group of racist white people. A group of about 5 white guys is the equivalent in strength to 2 Bubba shrimp boaters. Considering there were only 2 I'd say their just a couple of Steve Urkel's.
DaCamponTwee Dude. Harmless. Okay. But, "a couple of Steve Urkel's". . . You are clearly a taker, not a giver... . I'm a Canadian. Not even an American. Man The F*** Up...

You guys fucking rock! I've seen opportunities like this while living in my car at a truck stop after an ex and I broke up and I became homeless. I ran out of gas at a truck stop with my debt card declining and a truck driver paid for my gas and my energy drinks. Truly inspiring to see how much potential humanity has.
sand bars are dangerous because the edges can colapse. The current removes the sand near the bottom of the river. Then when weight is applied to the top. It can colapse beneath you. stay off sand bars.

People say the same thing about the New River here in Virginia but I grew up swimming in it. Stopped for a while when a thirteen year old boy about 100 yards up from my house drowned trying to save his sister but I've gone tubing in it since.
David Choe is the same artist who painted the wall at the Facebook office and is now reportedly worth 200 million USD because he took payment in stock. He's also done covers for a lot of CD album covers, he was practically minting for a while before he did this show. He's kinda like a badass embodiment of adventure.
