Bluetech and Mari Boine are two of my all time greatest favourite 'artists' - I was blown away to find out that Evan had done a mix of her greatness. What a treat - not expecting it all - and it sounds fookin' brilliant too. Love the music.
The singer is Sami (yes, indigenous Native Arctic Scandinavia, but not from the Americas...there are indigenous peoples all over the globe) and incorporates traditional Sami music style/"joik" into her work as well.
