Amen, once you experience the presence of the LORD you will never be the same. I made the sinners prayers when I was 17 but being so weak in the faith I tumbled. My life was never the same. Once I came back my guilt of sin overwhelmed me, and I felt I was not worthy to be called a child of the LORD. I sunk more in my sin until I had enough with the guilt. I begged the LORD for forgiveness and strength. Now I am back I always tell my LORD and Saviour JESUS make me less than your servant and read the prodigy son verses and it broke me. JESUS is LORD and KING. He forever will reign for salvation comes from GOD. Thank you putting our brothers and sisters' testimonies. It was all explained in Malachi, but the scholars and leaders held our people (and still most of my family) away from Truth. I wrote a free book and yet most of my fellow Jews refuse to even read it once they find out that it's about religion.

I have noticed that many pastors here in Brazil are adopting Jewish practices and customs. I have observed that many Jews do not consider Jesus to be the Messiah, and because of this, I feel that adopting these customs might mean embracing the culture of a people who do not recognize Jesus, which creates a contradiction in my heart. So I'm still mulling over this idea of works based salvation.. in reference to a comment this gentleman made. Now i know if he were asked directly, "like the mormons" , he'd say yes! I'm gunna throw out a lot of thoughts.. and do my best to be coherent.. Does God force you to do anything outside of your will even if it meant to have a broken heart and a contrite spirit towards Christ? Like possession? I'd say no! He can not violate our will to choose and act as free agents.. then if we use our agency and will to act and not be acted upon, are we susceptible to accusations of works based salvation? We're we created to be acted upon? I'd say no.. if we act as free agents to follow Christ.. for example, to enter into covenant that we will always remember him, by being baptised, by one having authority for the remission of sins, and then receive the gift of the Holy Ghost by the laying on of hands, are we susceptible to accusations of works based salvation? If we covenant to always remember him and do those things that draw us closer to Christ, are we susceptible to accusations that we believe in works based salvation? At what point can we choose to follow Christ? To inquire.. At what point do we put one foot forward and seek Christ , or even if only to desire according to our choice and agency to act and not be acted upon.. is it Before we are converted or only after? Lest we should be accused by our brethren of works based salvation? Finally , if a community of Latter-Day Saints gather together often, with clean hands and clean hearts, with broken hearts and contrite spirits, ready to repent and lay their cares at the feet of him who died and suffered that all who would repent might come unto him and have life, to partake of the emblems of the body and blood of Jesus Christ, and to renew their covenants made at baptism, that they do always remember him that they may always have his spirit to be with them, and gather to teach, and edify, and uplift one another, everyone his brother or sister.. i then ask, who is anyone that they can pass judgement on anyone of these, and say within their heart and to the world, you only do these things not because you have a new heart and a new mind, but because you believe you can save yourself by your own works? Who can search the heart of man and know his ways but God only?
Well said. It's supernatural for a Jew to cone to know Christ. That's the whole reason why, Israel will stand till the end. That's God's purpose. I mean Paul says this clearly. Jesus came 1st for the Jews and then for the gentiles. If the Jews had accepted jesus, the gentiles would be gonners. The grace extended to the gentiles because of the rejection of Christ by the Jews is unfathomable. It's a privilege. It's almost as if to provoke the Jews. Besides, when Jews come to christ, their exposition of scripture and the way they are able to interweave the threads of the OT and NT is eye opening.

Does God force you to do anything outside of your will even if it meant to have a broken heart and a contrite spirit towards Christ? Like possession? I'd say no! He can not violate our will to choose and act as free agents.. then if we use our agency and will to act and not be acted upon, are we susceptible to accusations of works based salvation? We're we created to be acted upon? I'd say no..
if we act as free agents to follow Christ.. for example, to enter into covenant that we will always remember him, by being baptised, by one having authority for the remission of sins, and then receive the gift of the Holy Ghost by the laying on of hands, are we susceptible to accusations of works based salvation?
If we covenant to always remember him and do those things that draw us closer to Christ, are we susceptible to accusations that we believe in works based salvation?
At what point can we choose to follow Christ? To inquire.. At what point do we put one foot forward and seek Christ , or even if only to desire according to our choice and agency to act and not be acted upon.. is it Before we are converted or only after? Lest we should be accused by our brethren of works based salvation?
Finally , if a community of Latter-Day Saints gather together often, with clean hands and clean hearts, with broken hearts and contrite spirits, ready to repent and lay their cares at the feet of him who died and suffered that all who would repent might come unto him and have life, to partake of the emblems of the body and blood of Jesus Christ, and to renew their covenants made at baptism, that they do always remember him that they may always have his spirit to be with them, and gather to teach, and edify, and uplift one another, everyone his brother or sister.. i then ask, who is anyone that they can pass judgement on anyone of these, and say within their heart and to the world, you only do these things not because you have a new heart and a new mind, but because you believe you can save yourself by your own works? Who can search the heart of man and know his ways but God only?

Well said. It's supernatural for a Jew to cone to know Christ. That's the whole reason why, Israel will stand till the end. That's God's purpose. I mean Paul says this clearly. Jesus came 1st for the Jews and then for the gentiles. If the Jews had accepted jesus, the gentiles would be gonners. The grace extended to the gentiles because of the rejection of Christ by the Jews is unfathomable. It's a privilege. It's almost as if to provoke the Jews. Besides, when Jews come to christ, their exposition of scripture and the way they are able to interweave the threads of the OT and NT is eye opening.
