Oooooh this is a fun premise, I've been a kinnie of Jaques from As You Like It since I first read the play at 12. XD Him: Don't wax poetic! Me: Uh, I could do a Poe-inspired jester instead, but I don't really think you want me to wrap you in burlap and set you aflame, so maybe don't give me performance notes unless I *ask*, sirrah! ...But, now that this is long enough to be hidden beneath a "view" link: I do have a sneaking suspicion we're actually the heir, cursed to wear the motley coat of the fool and haunt our demolished kingdom until someone liberates us 👀
