40 dollars is a steal, I had the blue DSI growing up but the white model always looked really nice to me
There is a way to play in English I believe but you do have to mod it which does require an SD card over a few gigabytes and a pc or laptop that has a SD card slot or you can buy an adapter that has one but when modding you have to be careful (you can brick your console to where it don’t work by doing something wrong) and it also allows you to download rom files aka the games but you can get free rom files through some website but it is also kinda illegal but if you wanted you could dump your own games (I modded my dsi and me personally I found the free files and think it’s a lot easier and I recommend looking up a tutorial and doing this if the texts bother you and feel free to ask questions if interested
DSi XL/LL is such a great handheld, and probably my preferred way to play regular DS games. I have a Yellow one and honestly I might pick up a white one too if I see one at a good price.

I have the English version of that game, that game is rare in English now because it didn't sell well because it was so much like animal crossing except you're going to school to be a wizard

I just bought a white dsi LL from Japan on eBay and it comes tomorrow 🙂 cannot wait, I play ds games so much, I was getting sick of the 3DS blurring the resolution of ds games 🙃

the ds game is magicians quest mysterious times!! ❤ it’s a $300 game for a North American copy, so having a Japanese copy is a much better option. Think animal crossing mixed with Harry Potter 😊 I highly recommend it!

I had a pink dsi growing up. As a kid I loved to use the photo app and using those filters (this was before Snapchat, so it was really cool for me 😅). Recently got myself a new one as my one doesn't work unfortunately 😢

I almost always use Buyee Air Delivery. It’s a bit cheaper and it will send your items via Fedex or DHL (mine has always been delivered by Fedex) It arrives for me usually in 2-3 days and I’ve never had any issues with my package getting stuck in customs. That would be my recommendation!
I am going to buy a dsi because i have been legit saving up for a few months and i finally have enough, and i am seeing video’s to see if i should reconsider or not ❤️ I could have gotten it earlier but… i end up spend money on stupid things 😅

You can modify it to region unlock it so you can change the language to English! I heard it’s really easy to do
