Considering the fact he lost a superstar in KD, and all he was left with was role players and such, Russell showed the league that not only is he a top player, no matter what anyone says, but he was the MVP this year. the thing is... a triple double really doesnt mean more than it is. he averaged 2 more boards than harden thats about it. all his fans make it look like that triple double is something EXTRA. no doubt he was one of the best players this season. no doubt... but to say he was a clear cut winner is just dumb. russ, harden, kawhi, lebron, kd, even curry... they all couldve won it. they all had a strong case for it. russ and harden had the flashiest stats and were the most similarly amazing. lebron and kawhi carried their teams to the top with also great stats on both ends. kd and curry were the best players on the best team, they were 2 of the most efficient players. so in my eyes any one of those guys couldve won it. shame curry won it over harden earlier, then it would be perfect if kawhi got the next one lol...

16-17 Westbrook is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever watched in the nba. When I think about him retiring soon it gets really sad. Westbrook energy is to strong 1000% effort night. There will never be another Westbrook. NBA would be different without Westbrook.
