OMG Ohvale UK Cup, Race 1 & 2 Ellough Park Raceway, British Mini Bikes Championship

- This is the first round of the OMG Racing Ohvale UK 110 Cup, held at Ellough Park Raceway, part of the British Minibike Championship.
14 riders between 8 and 12 years old from all parts of the UK, some with racing backgrounds and some with none and all on the Ohvale GP-0 110cc 4 speed motorcycle! We will be doing a small feature about the riders here on my youtube so stay tuned!
I came to know about the Ohvale bikes in 2019, when I was introduced to them at Colin Edwards place in Texas by Brandon Cretu, the US importer. I was very impressed with how good they are. It might be a miniature, but its a real race bike. They are "Off the shelf" competitive.
At that time, there wasn't a UK importer and I wanted to be able to offer future stars a proper platform to start them racing.
I like the Ohvale ethos with the Ohvale Championships keeping it fair and cost effective as possible with sealed four stroke engines, completely standard, its all about the riders. From that, along with conversations with Alan Lord from the British Mini Bikes Championship (BMB) about starting a youth championship to bring on riders the Ohvale UK Cup was born.
OMG Racing, the British Superbike team, has now got involved too as they are keen on bringing on up and coming riders. They are supporting myself as Ohvale UK to be able to book tracks for the riders to come along and test for free, which is mega! On top of that they have sponsored the BMB and the Ohvale UK Cup to make it the OMG Racing Ohvale UK Cup.
Other championship sponsors include Motul Oil, SBS Brakes, Reactive Parts and Evotech Performance which have all been brilliant with the riders giving them products and putting up prizes for championship positions!

The Ohvale is designed and built to be a race bike, so no road legal version coming any time soon!
@@Hicky60 I understand. But I kinda think people are missing a trick. People have always wanted the race bike / road. With 25bhp on tap, what learner rider would be looking at Groms if these are on sale. Anyhoos! :)
