- I’ve tried to perfect muffins MANY TIMES to make them moist and not dry. Especially the next day, different recipes seem to dry out overnight. However! :-) These ones are a sure winner. I like that they don’t have white sugar in them also. I used raisin bran cereal this time, but you can use any brand cereal you like. Please follow along as I explain a little tips and tricks along the way. One of them is using cupcake papers and the difference between using theirs and not using those. Thank you so much, I really hope you will make these wonderful and very very delicious muffins! I do have a very nice Facebook group by the same name #CookingWithAuntShirley Never any pop-up ads, and more interactive whereby you can ask questions and learn a lot, and add a lot to our little group! God bless you!
I put extra raisins, shredded carrots, finely chopped nuts, and any extra grains, wheat germ, etc. They are very healthy and delicious!
Yummm… i love lots of raisins!!!! Good idea!😍
I made mine along with you. They’re in the oven now. Fingers and eyes crossed😆
Absolutely DELICIOUS!!!🎉😊
P.S , there is something about cooking with vinegar that makes a world of difference 😋
Raisin Bran is our favorite cereal too. Your muffins look delicious. Will try your recipe next time!
That buttermilk hack I’ve just adored. Just look at the side of the measuring…thingy. I adore your style, huge fan already!
When you spray your baking pans, set them on the open door of the dishwasher, just learned that one ;D
Awww, gosh thank you so much! Is a newbie I really mean it... You're kind words are so nice to read! Thank you dear!
Just some information for you a cup is a cup. The only difference is the glass one has a pourspout and the other one can be dipped in a canister to get your dry ingredients. ❤
These look amazing. I love bran muffins. I will be trying this recipe today.
Aww thank you so much! I just made them again the other day but I put blueberries in them ha ha
I sometimes sprinkle cinnamon and sugar on the top of the muffin when they come out of the oven. I make my own cinnamon & sugar., using it for topping or for cinnamon toast. Bran muffins are my most favorite of all muffins. Thanks for your version. I do love Aldi's too. Have a Blessed day.
Cinnamon is my favorite spice well, that and garlic ha ha I guess it’s a tie for the two of them. But I love my cinnamon! In fact, I named one of my car sentiment she was a pretty light gold convertible. Ha ha.
Forgive the talk to text mistakes, Oopsie!😳☺️
Great recipe! I changed a few things, I added ground oatmeal, ground flax seeds, 1 cup of flour, cinnamon, ground walnuts and a tiny box of raisins. Its the best I've made so far. Not dry, delicious! Thanks for sharing! This is a winner.
Oh lala! What great suggestions. I'm glad it turned out terrific for you. I like me and moist muffin! :-)
Shirley this is amazing. New friend ❤

I just made these muffins and they are delicious. Thanks for sharing the recipe.😊
Aw, thanks for letting me know! That makes me feel nice to know that somebody out there tried and liked them!
I love the crispy part too.
Aunt Shirley
I'm sure gonna try them,
Look so yummy!
Oh, that’s great let me know how you like them! I hope they turn out to be your very favorites! :-)
I did make them
And my husband loved them👍 so good!
Well done, Shirley!
Lovely i am going to try it today❤😂
I love raisin bran muffins. I add maybe a quarter cup of dried cranberries with the cereal. This is going to sound weird, but my cat likes muffins. Then again he likes fresh baby spinach. Will have to try this recipe. It's snowing today so good time to putter around in the kitchen with the furbaby supervising.
Your cat sounds awesome! I love kitties myself. I have two presently. I hope you like it and the dried cranberries sound like a great idea! I’m always one for trying new things!
@MrseBay I made the muffins this evening. They're good even without the cranberries.p. Lightfoot the cat tried a bit of muffin and ate all but the raisin.
I just have the one cat due to my apartment lease. He's four but acts like two when I adopted him from the shelter. He's a black and white tuxedo short-haired. Must be getting around bedtime. Lightfoot wants me to shut off the lights and the phone and go to bed.
By the way I love tuxedo kitties! I had the best one I could still cry just saying his name now because he was so awesome and I lost him in a surgery they did for urinary reasons.
His name was banjo kitty
Tuxedo kitties are just special and so many ways!
@MrseBay My first tuxedo kitty was named Bear. He purred like a bear cub. He was a rescue from the neighbor. He would wait for me at the end of the driveway to get home, fed and loved. He really loved his mom. One night I didn't come home from work due to an accident. Poor Bear worried til I got home. Then he followed me wherever I went and slept on top of my head. Sadly he past on from cancer. Now I have Lightfoot. Is it just me or do tuxies love their chosen hoo-man more than other cats? I had a stroke this past spring and Lightfoot meowed and paced the floor until I came home. He didn't eat much. Just worried. I substituted sour half and half for the milk. It was as thick as sour cream and gave a bit of richness to the muffins. I'm waiting for my neighbor to give her verdict. Happy Holidays to you and yours. Looking forward to more yummy recipes in the new year.
Perfect
One more thing… how long did you bake them. Really Shirley I loved your video but you have to include a written recipe in the MORE section. Baking time is crucial. Thanks in advance for your reply!
You are correct! I started this just to show my new daughter-in-law and her friends how to do stuff. I do have a Facebook group that’s a little more thorough and I have the printed recipes all in an album. Sorry if that was confusing to you! I can’t remember offhand as I’m not at home right now, but I just bake until they look done. I know that sounds like a copout, and I’m sorry I will try to remember and answer you, but literally if you use a sharp knife or cake tester, and there’s no batter left and they are done. You can do it!
Where's the recipe
sorry. I’m a rookie at this. Lol I guess on my Facebook group by the same name, I tend to write out a recipe card and post a picture of it. I say the amounts in the video though. I hope that will be OK. Thank you for your comment.
The printed recipe oops a daisy is on my Facebook group with the same name. There’s no ads on it either! I have an album with all these recipe cards for pretty much everything I make. I think these baked about 14 minutes? But every oven is different.
Ty . I don't do FB. 😢
@@vyvoomvoom9641 gotcha. I understand. When I get back later this evening, I’ll try to remember to find it and copy and paste it here. Thank you! For being kind in your response. :-)
Can you substitute corn oil for coconut oil?
Yes! I have in fact done that! :-)
How many calories, about. 17:17
Oh goodness I wish I knew.
I’m sorry 😌
