I have Love, Don’t be Shy, Oriana and Sintra. I love them all. If asked to pick one of the three, it would be Sintra. I am in love, love with Sintra. That Orange Blossom and Marshmallow just does it for me.
Memo Paris is my favorite house! I agree , Sintra and LDBS are often compared due to the orange blossom note, but they’re completely different. Out of the ones you mentioned, Marfa is the tuberose for people who don’t like beast mode tuberose, and African Leather is a good his and her scent. French Leather is a good unisex-feminine leaning scent as well.

Great video. Yes, the perfume craze really geared up in 2020. I guess everyone was stuck in the house and had to find scent memories etc. That orange blossom and marshmallow note is still on an upward spiral . Frangrantica is hit or miss on the notes, it must be an Ai lol.
Love Sintra but I agree that the green doesn't work well in hot weather. Oriana is lovely year-round, softer in projection though. Sintra last way longer. Try Roja Reckless -- along the same lines, may not impress at first spray, but very balanced and beautiful on the dry down. Since you asked, my favorite in the Memo line is actually Siwa -- very unique (hard to describe --akin to something Cleopatra would have worn). Memo Ocean Leather is great in the summer (unisex scent).

Hi Santa Maria, great review as always. I am going to invest in a bottle when it goes on sale. I have the *Eau de Memo*, a beautiful citrus floral scent, *Siwa* a lovely lotion-y, coconutty type of vibe and *Lalibela*, the compliment getter is musky, sweet and blended to perfection.
Nice review i recommend leau d hiver by Frederic malle its so elegant it has a honey note and one note called hedione its afterlife classy you should check it out.
I know the 3 don’t smell identical but I do understand the comparisons. They have a similar vibe. I don’t like the sickly sweet version of love don’t be shy so that would not be my pick. I find memo version is the more interesting one and PDM one the more mad appealing and easier to wear one

Any suggestions on what I can combine with Sintra to tone down the orange blossom and/or neroli??? I don't get the marshmallow because the orange blossom and/or neroli and pettigrain are so predominant 😮.

I havent smelled Sintra I dont like Love Dont be Shy its way way too sweet to me and Oriana smells too simple its nice but not for the price also it doenst last too long so im curious to try memo sintra we have it easily accessible to spray and test in the city close to where i live
I loved the drydown of Sintra, but that petigrain note was too much for me. I have other orange blossom/neroli scents I loved more in every layer so I decided to pass on this one.
I adore Sintra! I prefer it over Love Don’t Be Shy which it’s often compared too. You have to try Madurai, Marfa, and Tamarindo next!

I don’t think there’s any comparison to LDBS. I love Sintra. I want to try others. Sherwood, Marfa and lalibela.
