I used to play this game while Mysterio's arena was still accessible. From what I can remember, no, there were no cutscenes with Mysterio and you could not fight him. There were waves of enemies and from time to time bosses would come in. Whenever you beat a boss in the story campaign that same villain then had a chance of appearing in the arena, even though they were easier to defeat. I don't remember really well this feature, because i didn't play it much, but I just wanted to share everything I could about what seems to be lost media at this point.

FYI I bought this game in 2014 on iOS and if you also did you can still download it and play it! It’s delisted but it should appear in your purchased apps as downloadable.
Same goes for the first TASM. However Total Mayhem cannot be.

I do have it and downloaded it, but when I load into the game it loads to 45%, then it pops up with a screen that says downloading profile., but it never loads.
@@gigihrangga6868you can still play this game if you have a jailbroken iPhone. But on android it is more easier because you can just search up the apk file and download it.
Nolan North's Green Goblin in this game is more a victim of poor voice direction than casting. He's not the best version of the character, but he has way more of that manic energy that you'd expect in Spider-Man Unlimited. Same with Yuri's Spidey
I honestly can't remember which came out first, nor if the direction of one impacted the other, but either way it's really interesting.
Now that I think about it, Black Cat's VA was in Unlimited too-

Yess I had an iPod touch and used to play spider-man unlimited on it as a kid
I decided to play a bit of this after game after the video about the first Amazing Spider-Man mobile game and was pleased to see non-combat-related events. I hope to see Insomniac do something similar in a Spider-Man sequel/spinoff, it'll be great to see Spidey fully being the friendly neighborhood spider-man.

I like the left right trigger web mechanic, didnt know it worked this way in TASM2 but i remember being dissapointed it didnt worked this way in the PS4 Spiderman, this just make sense and would make the webswing less automated and more engaging cause i see potenital of your speed being dictated by how well you press them in tempo
I remember playing this game religiously in the fifth grade, long before I had access to any console or pc. One of my only memories of the game is spending HOURS on the second electro boss fight and the moment I thought I might just get my win MY IPAD SCREEN FLIPS and I get instantly electrocuted and lose. Still haunts me to this day
The funny thing about this game is that even though the web swinging isn't great, the web swinging is just reused animations from The Amazing Spider-Man (2012) console game.

Bro also try 9mm, backstab, shadow guardian. These games are also made by gameloft. 9mm is inspired my max payne, backstab is inspired by Assassin's creed and shadow guardian is inspired by uncharted
9mm still holds up really well and is a decent game to play with great graphics
I hope you also talk about Spider-Man unlimited but I don't think you can't right now because the game was server based but they are fans there are making a modded version where you can progress to the story and get all of the costumes not just the one in game by Gameloft but also fan made suits like the insomniac Spider-Man suit and the Tobey suit this game already had so many Spider-Man suits that you can think of but now we also have the fans that are also adding in the suits that won't in the game love your video man I hope you talk about this game too 👏❤️
They really missed an opportunity to have Green Goblin be the leader of the gang warring with Silvermane, like in the comics.
So I tried playing this and The Dark Knight Rises on the emulator but it won't run because it's a old version of the android hardware and the emulator won't play it,
I noticed on your other videos when asked how you play them you just say on a emulator but can you explain how you actually get them running please?

I had the chance to play this game when I was in highschool and it meant a lot to me as this was the only spider-man game that I got to play since I don't have an access to PCs and consoles back then

Did you notice that they took a element from web of shadows, black cat if you look at one of her arms, she has the same grappling hook that the web of shadows Version has except for the web shadows version she has them on both arms

Gotta agree with you, i played this game when it first came out and aright around 32:50 when you mentioned the game difficulty spikes up, it’s not just a little spike infact it was like those Darksoul level of enemy who can one shot you and back then i use to play this game without the benefits of any spidy suits so it does makes the game more fun at one point because i no longer has to feel bored from punching enemies but also has to find ways to dodge. This video was fun. Keep up the work. Also i do recommend The Dark Knight mobo version it’s good enough for a mobile game.
Thank you! It was fun trying to figure out which Spidey costume was best suited during difficult situations. The Miles Morales one came in handy for large groups because it gives you a higher chance of stunning enemies. I have a video on the Dark Knight Rises mobile game. I haven’t checked out the Dark Knight Java game yet.

I saw this game once in the AppStore and I was like nah it’s prob not worth it but again in like 2019 I think, I randomly thought about it and the game was removed. It’s just sad honestly so many games get removed like this and the most popular case of the are the Lego games which get removed every few years

Yo, I almost forgot. Spiderman toxic city was a fun game, the whole mechanic of that game was enjoyable. Don’t expect too much of it but it sure was fun back in the day.

How did you manage to get the game working? I've tried downloading it from the Play Store (since I bought the game back in the day) and also through other means, but it always gets stuck at 45% on the first loading screen? How did you get past this?

The boss fight against Rhino is something straight out of Metal Gear Rising Revengeance, and it's great imo
I remember being probably about 7 or 8 trying to beat him and getting ass wooped. I never finished the game because I never could beat rhino😭

The under cover cops being highlighted in blue to differentiate them from standard thugs you pummel reminds me of certain Riddler Informant Goons in the Arkham series being highlighted in green so you know not to knock them out like the rest.

The original amazing spiderman 2 is one of the fist games i 100% and i have no idea how i did it
i tried to replay it last year and it was just fine
I got both TASM games recently and noticed they cut the amount of collectibles in half. It’s like 300 comic book pages in TASM 2 while it was 700 in TASM1. There’s also less photo missions, the only level collectables are gear and audio tapes while the first had both of those and magazines and manuals
