Ugh, this Circuit Board Could Have Been Fixed If I Hadn’t Made That Mistake 😥💔 It’s so frustrating when things don’t go as planned, but I hope you can learn from my blunder! What’s the biggest mistake you’ve made while fixing something? Let’s share our experiences?

This happens to almost every electronic technician from time to time. I had a short last week when measuring an op amp. measuring pin slips between V+ and an input. A split second of 18V on an input coming from the microcontroller. defective. Fortunately it was a controller that did not require programming.

my air conditioner suddenly, while it is on the low level, fluctuates the intensity of the air,if at that time I change the intensity then it works normally. do you know the reason?thanks.

If it is a DC blower motor then the problem in any two optocoupler of the fan operating circuit, and if it is ac motor, then its feedback to the micrcocontroller is not accurate. So change the Ac blower motor. But if it is Dc blower motor then fix the pcb of the indoor unit.

Pls I have a LG artcool gallery PCB I'm trying to troubleshoot its fault...I discovered the PCB after being powered only makes the normal starting beeping sound and doesn't work ..pls what could be the likely problem here..and once the PCB make the switching beeping sound first time, it will not make the switching beeping sound again until U unplug the PCB for several hours n power it again..from this kind of PCB behaviour, what could be the problem with the PCB.. thank you

sir, i have inverter ac. my air conditioner is showing F6 error i.e., indoor unit to outdoor unit connection error for some time and then starts working . --- what might be the problem ?

The bootstrap, as name implies, is NOT for checking any voltage. Those pins are charging pins for bootstrap capacitors, for proper gate driving of upper side IGBT. Also, hell a lot of pins you called supply, where in reality those are PWM command inputs for IGBT turning ON and OFF.
Another mistake: C65 to C68 are NOT boosting anything. Those are filtering capacitors, for lowering noise. WOW, so you've managed to f..k up circuit, otherwise normal working?

Thank you for your detailed feedback. In my videos, I aim to make technical topics more accessible for a broader audience, including people who may not have an engineering background or understand technical jargon. While I try to keep the explanations simple, I understand that more experienced viewers like yourself may prefer precise terminology. I’ll take your feedback into consideration and will try to strike a better balance between accuracy and simplicity in future videos. I appreciate your input and support for the channel!

@@forevertechenglish thing is, no one that just started to do repairs of electronics, should take such board repairs, without knowing very details of what's what on power electronics devices. Otherwise, they can make serious damaga to device or get seriously shocked by high voltage and high current, so much so to get killed (300V DC can very easily stop human heart).
