FTR one of the earliest rap song on mainstream in America was ‘Rap o clap o’(1979) by Joe Bataan. Filipino father/Afro-American mother...Filipinos have been doing Black music since doowop. We were a huge reason why it blew up in Hawaii. From Danny Barcelona (Louis Armstrong’s drummer) to Chad Hugo(Neptunes) and countless others. Filipino contributions to Black music is freakishly uncredited
I'm old enough to remember that "Rapper's Delight" was such a big in the Philippines. I think that was the catalyst that got the ball rolling. Mid 90's was the time when hip-hop really started exploding. The rest is history.
I meant "big hit." Pardon the mistake.
Bonethugz is our inspirations here in Philippines, that's why your wondering why we rap like them like the way how we deliver 😅🙆🏻♂️. that WDDWM song was made by different gangs that came from a different cities but became one... that is why, we don't die we multiply.
Yes. Bone thugs.. then Kelly then akon..2002 black eyed. Then Eminem.. than there's some rapper.. try this out kwago bame of DER music .
being someone who is friends with Mike Cosa, a member of the video, i can say that they do like hat but they aren't just one gang... they came from multiple gangs from different parts of the Philippines but the video is a collaboration of all of those said gangs ❤️🇵🇭
Dope. It’s great to see Hip-Hop’s influence through the World.
They came from different cities different gangs but they came as one in this song...❤️🇵🇭
No..they came from different cities but they all belong to 187..di mo maintindihan pre?.tagalog rap n nga yan..hahahaha
Cringe
@@ceejaevongola1161 pwede naman different gangs pero lahat sila member ng 187
different barangay
I think 187 mobstaz is an alliance of different gangs/sections... Because a rapper said, 187 mobstaz "Luzon Visayas Mindanao".
That last two guys on the last two verses of the song, they have their latest song " Bakit ngayon ka lang - juanthugs and harmony" truely bonethugs
latest song? 🤣🤣
its been a decade since that song is released 😅😂
Tagal tagal na Ng kantang Yan eh
Remake
Latest?? are you sure bro?
This is the most common style in rap combinations, making multiple styles work in the same beat, that's why they dont change the beat the whole song
early to late 2000s Bone Thugs N Harmony became one of the role model on almost all of the filipino hiphop,
hence you could almost recognize their flow when rapping.
Brother, I make you an honorary Filipino. You vibing to a language that's foreign to you. Proves music is universal
Salute my friend for vibing on a Filipino rap music that Iay say "foreign" to your ears. The last two rappers at the last two verse are juanthugs and harmony and a new release titled "bakit ngayon ka lang" like my kababayan Jomar Obcena said, thanks doing a review on a Filipino rap music 💖💖💖🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
Rap in the Philippines has always been melodic and lyrical. BTnH was huge but they were just part of the influences that we've had. We gravitate more towards rap w/ lyrical masterpieces, melodic tones... none of that mumble rap. The guys you see are merely recipients of the 80's rap, and to this day, our influences have always gravitated towards lyrical rap.
Crossroads is one of the top songs for most hiphop/rap fans here in the ph
Even us the casuals bop from it lmao
MrLboyd seems to be a genuine and honest reactor looks like he just enjoys and loves music in general. Enjoy your vid man.
Yess... your positive... bonethugs is gigantic here in Philippines 🇵🇭
Your right bonethugs is one of major influence of hiphop here in PH😊😊😊😊
In order to possess a firearm in the Philippines, a person must be at a minimum age of 21 years and pass a background check to be issued a Possession License. They must also take a firearms training and safety course.
when this was released in the phil. it become famous all around the phil. and it s still heard until this day.. this is one of the rap that was heard in my early dayz..
I can hear this everywhere in large ass speakers to the point where i got sick of it lmao
You are right Bone Thugs in Harmony was huge here I bought all their CDs
Dope ... These Filipino Bro's Can Flow 4 Sho ... So Much 👌 Great Talent 👍
Yes your right. Tha Crossroads of bth had been a hit in Phil in 90's,
Yes the Philippines language is combination of spanish, english and tagalog.
They have a latest song called "Legion" it's a level up of WDDWM
Nah its not level up, its like 70 percent of WDDWM in terms of how good the song is.
I think I'm the first Pilipino who commented to your reaction. Good to see this video on your channel. 187 Mobstaz is one of the best groups of hiphop here in Philippines. ```The guns is not actually real and the "Penikula" is tagalog word for Movies.
Pelikula
The last 2 rap artists are definitely influenced by bone thugs n harmony. Them 2 actually have a rap group called Juan Thugs n Harmony and they're pretty successful i the industry. Their names are Blingzy one and Innozent one, respectively.
This should've had a sub title to english but then again kudos to you for reacting to this. If you had the chance to react to the best story teller and right hand man of the king of hiphop in the PH Gloc 9 his songs are soooo great. Need subtitles though
187 is obviously that WoW guild that let's half the server join.
that is actually true to the bone man. they have been an inspiration to the rap community here. if you wanna check out better rappers from the Ph, you gotta holla at Gloc-9.
It's almost 12 yrs ago. This was been my Highschool memory and This song have a very deep meaning. everytime I heard this song i remember my gang my brotherhood where I am lost that time and I saw myself happy doing things in the wrong path.. after i lielow in my gang after 5yr or something some of them die too soon, some got convicted or imprisoned, some are ex-convict and leaving for good. some did as mine and we choose a better path for good.. I study well in college join a frat and graduated as a Civil Engineer but still everytime i rember my past its reminds me that if you surround your self with a bad influence people you will be the same as them and if you surround yourself with a lots of good, better and successful poeple you will be the same as them.
every experience in your life you will learn something new to build up your better self..
One of the famous group here in the phillippines 187 MOBSTAZ for life
You're absolutely right sir. BTNH is one of the biggest influencer in hiphop music in our country.
others may see it as a gangster song but it's actually about brotherhood, self-discipline, Leadership, loyalty and motivation using music.
I hope you react to Flow G's "G-Wolf", OC Dawgs' Wish 107.5 live performance of "Pauwi Nako, "No Drugs in Heaven" by Kartell 'Em, and Alex Bruce's Wish 107.5 live performance of "Dime Girls", Kiyo's "Eba", and Loonie's "Eskapo"
Yes, NWA and BTNH have the most influence among the local gangster rap scene.
Yeah you're right BTNH is a Big influence in the Philippines
Until today you still hear it in everyones playlist when there's a party also 2pac, snoopdog even Easy E..
what does BTNH mean bro.? sorry ?
@@Lowered_Gadh

Greetings I'm from Philippines
PHILIPPINES NUMBER 1 🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
this 187 mobtaz was also behind of all moiras songs i guess
Yes,, most of them are members of Filipino true brown style "TBS" that came from your country
Thank you for reacted of the rap of our country.
The two at the end of the music video are blessed with bone thugs and harmony 👌
Funnily enough, they're a duo. they are called Juan Thugs N' Harmony
They are from different places and Rap groups of the Philippines, they become one group thru the songs and hiphop genre.
These guys are bad ass! The phrasing of the tagalog language. They were talking about hard life! It is so freaking Manila! Manila has a lot of grit! Totally Filipino gangsta!
Yes all rappers here inspired and idolized bone thugs and harmony!
One of the subgroups of this group is called MALABONE THUGS. Hailing from the city Malabon and then the style origin
This song completes my high school era..
You're right sir Bone thugs was and is still big in the Philippines and the one singing the chorus is a member of Mothugs Philippines his name is Mista Blaze
Love the way you react when you said "Gangster Grandma!" LOL!
Each one sing to this song is a vocalist/lead singer/leader. in every group. Then they become MOBSTARS all are came from different part of the Philippines..
Panahong highshcool days, rakers ako nung time na un pero pinapakinggan ko rin to.
this is not the beginning of Hiphop in the philippines. we have a lot of Underground rap Group in philippines wayback 90s Like DEATH THREAT, GHETTO DOGGS
Dude, yeah. Bone thugs are really gigantic here. not just in hip-hop but everywhere. especially Crossroads. that song was everywhere when I was young.
Good Day Sir. Shot Out From Philippines 😁
Bone thugs are known in the Philippines and it's popular back in 90's 🔥
sikat ba dati ung bone thugs sa pilipinas nung 90s?
Bone Thugs 'n Harmony was huge here in the PH. They were also reference here in this rap three times with the first one being at the 11:07 mark that got overlapped by the next verse.
3:02 thats Hasbulla standing on a chair holding a pistol. 😂
You're right. Bonethugs & harmony is their influence. it was even mentioned in one of the verses.. 11:20.
I checked 11:20.. it's krayzis. What he said is MALABON THUGS.. its their Rap group in Malabon City that includes tuglaks, abbadon, krayzis, sparo and other member
Mala Bonethugs = Malabon Thugs
bone thugs N harmony are so famous here in the Philippines 🇵🇭👑 me as well im still listen to their music
The nostalgia in this video is enough to make me cry. I was like in Grade 3 or 4 when this was released and I memorized the entire song which made me pretty famous at the class lol. They aren't the pioneer of hip-hop in the Philippines, that belongs to Francis M, Gloc-9, Loonie, Andrew E and other big names but I'm pretty sure they're one of the main reasons why the rap scene exploded in the late 2000's
Oh and to answer your questions about guns, they're either props or acquired illegally lol since owning guns is a crime in the country.
Loonie🤣🤣🤡🤡
Love your reaction, we are avid fan of 187 mobstaz here in Philippine. New subscriber here
Youre right.. Bone Thugs is very big in Philippines. It is obvious because of this music style.
You nailed it bro. 187 is the bone thugs of the pH
Pinoy Pride🇵🇭🔥
i never skipped any ads on this video, this guy is very interesting in his words :) keep it up sir god bless
Collaborations of different rap artist here in PH in the time of there peak .. different cities where they live ..
Yes it's spanish "pelicula" means movie or film. The Philippines was colonize by Spain for 333 years. And there's a lot of spanish loan words we used in everyday life.
They are a different group of rapper or gangster but they are UNITE AS ONE so they are make this song WE DONT DIE WE MULTIFLY ( no one can beat this group),,the singer of the chorus is MIZTAH BLAZE the leader of all this group gangster
The one in black in the slowmo part with cards is abaddon... One highest on 187...
Definitely not the beginning of hiphop in Philippines, Francis M. started it all
I play this every time...
As a former OPG MEMBER....(original pilipino gangsta)
And tmc 97 (trouble makers company)
I MISS GANGSTA life
38....5'2.....2 CHILDREN.....MY PATH IS RIGHT.... .
Pj15......
..BUT HIPHOP TILL I DIE......
Love the reaction love from Philippines 🇵🇭
Yes bonethugs and harmony one of the inspiration of some filipino rapper here in phil. 💪
@MrL Boyd please check one of the oldies hip-hop in PH entitled
"HERE WE ARE"
Love your video reaction Sir…
Would you also react to * Iyakan na 4* they're also OG thugs and just recently made a burning 12mins rap
There been around along with Francis Magalona and Gloc 9 two Filipino rap legends
I might be wrong but if I remember correctly it was a comedian who gave rap music a huge push in the music industry and it got even bigger after the death of one of the idols of Filipino rap music, I might be wrong tho
that Smugglaz guy man! is one of the best fastest rapper here in the Philippines!🇵🇭🔥
Napanood ko lng sa fliptop eh hahaha . Samantalang yung si sparoo di mo kilala. Smugg lng alam mong mabilis😂😂😂
We have rap since early 90s and i appreciate you appreciate our craft when it comesto hiphop
The eccentric guy said
"187 Mobstaz mala Bone Thugz" (Like the Bone Thugz) basically confirms what you said
you said "Pilikula' is Spanish yea ur right our National Language Pilipino or Tagalog was a mixture of other languages like Spanish English Malay Chinese etc we are very diverse, were colonialize by Spain for morethan 3centuries also with US gor morethan 50yrs and Japanese so that is why we barrowed a lot of words fron Spanish English etc..
One of the rap music that never be forgotten in rap music. I remember my childhood listening to that music anywhere the streets of Philippines u heard that song❤️😎
I'm pilipino idol.. thats may favorite rapper....can I ask you sir how to make reaction video like this? And this is not copy right video?
btnh was huge here. up till now.
9:35 Yo sir, let me answer this one. Yes Bone Thugz-N-Harmony is really huge here in the PH and inspired a lot of these artists in the hip-hop industry. Also, just a trivia, your other reaction video about JuanThugz n Harmony, those 2 members were also here.. 17:35 and 18:25. Btw, just recently subscribed to you sir and pls continue making vids like this. :)
BTNH was definitely big in the Philippines I say, around 2000 when Resurrection came out. Also 11:21, rapper literally said "mala-bone thugs", that gives away their inspiration and style with rapping. On a note on rap industry in the Phils, Francis M and Andrew E made it big, competing with US labels for the rap genre in the local market.
Well that mala-bone thugs is also their group named MALABON THUGS from malabon incase you didn't know.
The one who sang the chorus is Mista Blaze, actually he had a song with Bone Thugs & Harmony. He also the leader of Mo Thugs Philippines. Search BNK ft. Layzie Bone
That the connection of all cities and culture all we are in peace
Yessir! BTnH is definitely a BIG influencer 4 the introduction & rise of rappers here in PH..
Then,
~We don't die, We multiply
MiSMO1968
Guns here at the Philippines are allowed so long as you have licence for it, but those guns on the video might be illegal sir. Hope this answer your question.
Hi, Mystery Recapped here...
They came from diffierent gangs/groups from different cities..inshort they represent their own gangs/groups in one combined group which is 187 Mobtazz(one of the popular rap group in that time).
And also most of rappers here in the PH they influenced by the Bonethugs until now❤️
Bone thugs in harmony is inspiring a lot of pilipino hip hop ..
just a little after he says the thing about bone thugs the dude sings about them @11:19 he says 187 mobsters mala-bone thugs which roughly translates to 187 monsters are bone thugs-like
Bone Tags and Harmony starts our hip-hop movements
Bones thugs here in the Philippines yes!
"A GANGSTER GRANDMA BRO, YEAH THEY DEFINITELY HAVE A GANGSTER GRANDMA"
Yeah bro they got it! No idea what they saying except they dont die they multiply lol
