Although Porsche stopped making the soft window as a removable option in 1969, you could still order it on a 1969 model car, even up to 1970 as part of Porsche special order process. I know because one of my good friends has a factory 911S soft window that is a factory original car.
Great video. So many don't realize early Targas had a soft window. First Porsche I ever rode in was a friend's dad's 912 targa.
